(Since Rick did not add a part in BoO about Sally and Percy, I decided to make a one-shot. Hope you enjoy! ;))

~~~~~~~~~•••••••~~~~~~~~~
A middle-aged woman sat on a worn couch. Bags hung under her eyes from lack of sleep. She was looking at a picture frame that was in her hands. A picture of her beloved son.
She remembered every single moment before he had to go back to the demigod life. This particular photo was a good day.
"Mommy!" Percy yelled, tackling her. "You're back, you're back!"
Sally ruffled her five-year old's already messy hair. "Yes I am."
Percy's babysitter came out of Percy's room. "Sally," she said, smiling.
"Was he any trouble?" Sally asked.
"No, not at all!"
Sally smiled at the woman. She had bumped into this woman, literally. Her name was Lory. Lory could also see through the mist, and the two woman became friends, relieved that someone else could see what they could.
Lory packed up her bag and left. "Bye, Ms. Smith!" Percy waved at the retreating back of the woman, who waved back.
As soon as she was gone, Percy turned to Sally. "Can we go to the beach?" he asked, sticking here bottom lip out.
Sally had to laugh. Percy looked just like baby seal. "And how do you know what a beach is?"
Percy straightened his little chest out. "Ms. Smith told me."
Sally smiled fondly. "Sure. We can go tomorrow."
"Yay!" Percy yelled.
That made it all worth it.
Sally barely heard the front door open. "Sally, you have to stop. Sleep."
"But-"
"Think, do you think Percy would like it if he saw you like this?"
"Paul-"
"Sally."
"Paul, I can be stubborn."
"Percy is a strong hero. He will survive."
Sally's shoulders sagged. "I know that. But... I'm just worried about my baby."
"Sally-"
"WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IF HE'S ALIVE."
"Well," a familiar voice laughed. "I think I would know if I'm alive."
Both Sally and Paul turned to the door where a teenager was leaning against, twirling a key. The teenager smiled at his mom.
"Percy!"
Sally rushed to her boy, looking over for scars or injuries. "Oh, Percy. You don't know how worried I was."
"She's not kidding," Paul said seriously. "She barely slept."
Percy turned to his mom, worried. "Are you okay?" Sally merely nodded, holding unto her son's arm. She was afraid he would disappear again.
Then, she noticed something. "Perseus Jackson," Percy flinched at his name, "is that a tattoo?"
"Well, you see..."
The rest of the night was full of Percy talking to his parents.
*Bonus scene*
A man wearing Bermuda shorts looked at them through an IM. He smiled. He was glad that Percy had a family, even if he himself wasn't included.
(Sorry, this feels a little choppy... I really am sorry...)
