You would be surprised how many people buy memories. 

Most often it's the older folks, wanting to recall the golden summers of youth that slip away so fast. Or young people, buying memories as gifts for family members. However, not all people buy them for good. Some people use memories as blackmail, or to stalk somebody else. Some authors buy them for inspiration and end up plagiarizing the life of another. 

Which is why the Recall shop is so hard to find. 

It is a sacred shop, imbued with the age-old magic of memory. 

The memories crowd the shelves, taking the form of an old toy or a crumpled-up leaf. 

They may look ordinary or even worthless, but upon touching them, you view the memory like a movie. 

This is, of course, extremely valuable. Which is why someone needs to take care of these memories. And that is where our Kyoyo comes in.
