Naruto's POV

It's 6 pm and I'm just walking around the town square looking for some good food to eat. I don't want to stay at home because it's too boring and lonely since I live alone.

My parents died right after I was born. I never knew the reason why or how because nobody would say anything to me. And now I'm just a stinking lonely ass walking around like an idiot for 16 years without any reason.

But I'm happy that I got friends to mend my pain. And I will find that reason soon.

After I ate my dinner I and walked around some more before heading back home. I careless and I accidentally bumped into someone familiar.

"Gomenasai."I bowed. Then she replied and the voice seemed familiar.

"Naruto? Is that you?" I looked up and it was Tenten. Great! It's the person I was looking for. I thought.

"Tenten. Hi. Can we talk?" She nodded.

We found a bench and sat beside each other.

"So what's up? It's rare that you and I are talking dontcha think?"

"Hmm yeah! Hehe. But this is about Hinata." I looked away. She giggled.

"You finally understand?"

"What do you mean understand? Sakura told me that Hinata has been giving me signs but I don't know what those signs are and what it means. You're her best friend, can you tell me what it means?" I said calmly. I'm really clueless all around.

She did a face palm."Seriously Naruto you are the stupidest teenager alive. Think for once."

"I really don't get it -ttebayo" I pouted.

"NARUTO! Remember last Valentines day when she gave you her special homemade  chocolate cake? Or every Christmas she gives you a whole pack of cup ramen? Oh! And how Hinata behaves whenever she's near you. She turns red then faints. And she is always watching you from afar which I think is stalking...I MEAN NOTHING!! I shouldn't have said that. Crap Hinata will kill me." Tenten looked worried and I laughed because of that reaction.

I thought of it for a while. Yeah she's been giving stuffs to me and I always love it when she gives me ramen and the cake was delicious. I should repay her somethime though. But the stalking part was confusing to me.

"Wait.. Hinata is watching me from afar... Like stalking? Why would she stalk me? And I thought Hinata gives me those gifts in a friendly matter. Are you saying that she wants to be closer to me?" I asked.. I looked at Tenten and her face looks like she's about to blow.

"YOU FUCKING IDIOT! SHE'S IN LOVE WITH YOU ASSHOLE!! Get it?! But the part where you said that she wants to be closer to you is correct too."

"In love? Hinata's in love with me?" I turned scarlet red. I never knew someone would be in love with a lonely idiot like me.

"YES. She is. Since the day you two first met." She smirked which made me go red even more.

"S-so.. U-uhmm... She's in love with me."

"Yes."

"Are you sure? Maybe you're just joking."

"Why would I make jokes about Hinata's feelings? She's my best friend."

"Oh.." Then I looked away again. Then there was awkwardness in the air.

Tenten put her right hand on my shoulder and I looked back at her. She gave me a reassuring smile. Gentle and calm.

"She should be the one telling you this Naruto but I told you this because her feelings are becoming more powerful each year and you're just there, not caring about how she feels because you're an idiot. You should think about your moves with Hinata. Maybe at some point you would realize that you love her back. It's just for you to decide."

"I never knew she loves me.." I mumbled.

"She does. Accept it. But don't tell her that I told you. I'll get killed for that."

"I won't. But what should I do, now that I know that she likes me?"

"Just let things flow, time will come that your feelings for her will reveal. Just do things normally and understand her more. Then you'll get your answer."

"Thanks Tenten. I'm really sorry if I don't understand one bit. I just never knew how it feels like." I murmured. She just laughed.

"It's alright. We all know that. I have to go Naruto, I promised Hinata I'll give her a call before sleeping. Y'know girl stuff. Bye!" She said as she dashed away while waving her hands goodbye.

"Bye! Thanks for the talk!" I also stood up and dragged myself home.

So... What am I supposed to do when I meet her or see her. Hmm...

Hinata's POV

Kiba and I were finally back to being the best friends that we used to be before he confessed. I felt so happy that things are getting better for me. Well, I still have problems on encountering with Naruto-kun but I'll try again tomorrow. Yosh! I'm gonna do my best.

Studying was never a problem for me but Neji-nii is smarter than me and he's hard to compete with. He's called the 'white eyed genius'.

(AUTHOR: Gomen. That's the only nickname I can think of. Haha luv u ^_^)

After eating dinner with Hanabi, dad, and Neji-nii, I did my chores and ran straight to my room.

I was expecting Tenten to call me because she promised to tell me the second reason why she was taking care of me even if I told her that I could handle myself.

And she called me at 8:30 sharp..

(ON THE PHONE)

T: Hinata!! You there?
H:Yes Tenten-san I'm here. So can you tell me now?
T: The what? I don't remember anything? (LIAR!)
H: The second reason Tenten-san. The very main reason why I let you promise to call me tonight.
T: Sumanai Hinata. Fine I'll tell you the second reason.
H: What is it?
T: The reason why I actually stayed with you in the clinic is because of your one and only love of your life.
H: Ha? You mean Na-Naruto-kun? (I always turn red whenever someone mentions his name.)
T: Yes girl.
H: Why? What did he do?
T: Well it's quite a long story and I'm sure in the end you'll faint and ha-
H: Just tell me the reason!!!
T: Relax relax! You're always like this when it comes to him.
H: O-okay. Sorry.
T: It's okay.. I'll start.
H: I'm listening.
T: The time that you fainted, Naruto voluntarily carried you while saying your name and such. I knew you were going to the clinic so I also asked sensei if I can go with you two. He approved and I ran as fast as I could just to catch up to you two. And damn I never knew Naruto can run that fast. Lol. So anyways, you were out cold and when I arrived, I saw him caressing your head and your face.
H:*Shrieks a little* Okay continue.
T: I intentionally coughed, making Naruto stop whatever he was doing to you. He asked me why do you faint and I just said it's a coincidence. So after a while he told me that he'll be watching you for a while and well, he was so eager to do it that it kind of made me blush too. So we argued about whose staying and whose leaving because he insisted and begged me but we settled it with rock-paper-scissors and I won so he kept his word and left while I remained and watched you until you woke up. The end.... Oi Hinata you there? OI!!!
H:..................... (No answer)
T: Hinata?!?! Aw seriously I knew you'd faint again! HINATA!!
H:............ (Drops down cold)
T: You're such a meanie every time we talk about Naruto. Anyways, I told you the story and I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight.

(End Call)
