Once upon a time, there was a king that worried about the future of his kingdom, in case if anything were to happen to him or to his older son, who would soon take the throne. Then, happily, a son was born and the people knew that he would be the future of their kingdom. The newborn child was given the name Keith Kogane, the second prince of the Kingdom of Voltron. News about the newborn baby attracted many other kingdoms and they all came to visit the baby to bring it gifts, including the royal family of the Kingdom of Altea.

"King Trevor, so good to see you old friend." A man said as he walked over to King Trevor. That person King Alfor of Altea, along with him was his eldest daughter, Allura, and his youngest son, Lance.
(So since Keith's Dads name hasn't been revealed yet I decided to go with the name of his voice actor, which is Trevor Devall btw)

"It is good to see you too, Alfor." Trevor and Alfor hugged then pulled back as they spoke to one another. "Looks like your worries are over. My son, Lance, here has brought a gift for Keith." Alfor gestures to his son that had lightly tanned skin, brown hair, and ocean blue eyes. Lance held out a pillow with a golden heart necklace that had a weird purple symbol on it. King Trevor looked at it closely and knew what the symbol meant.

"That's a Blade of Marmora symbol. They were fierce warriors and were loyal to fight for the freedom of the people, against the Galra Kingdom at the time when we were at war, even if they have to sacrifice themselves. That's a nice option Alfor." Trevor smiled at Alfor and Lance. "Go on." Trevor gestures for Lance to walk up the red carpet that lead to the crib where the newborn baby was in.

Lance goes over to the crib and looks down to see the newborn baby. The baby had raven black hair, white-skinned, and violet-eyed baby, Keith. He smiles at him and plays around with the necklace before he drops it in the crib. Everyone watched in awe and then an idea hit Shiro and Allura's head, they didn't know it but they had the same idea. The both of them looked at each other and nodded knowing what to do.

"Father, may we speak with you and King Trevor?" Allura said while facing her father and Trevor as Shiro turned to face them as well.

"Could it be possible that if Lance and Keith could be able to join our kingdoms together?" Allura asked the kings. "Well, Allura and I are better off friends and not to mention that we've been having trouble with Zarkon the sorcerer and his son Lotor, along with the witch Haggar."

King Trevor and Alfor looked at each other knowing those names very well. They've been trying to take over the Voltron Kingdom and have been trying to get even with the Altean Kingdom.

"You're right. But what do you have in mind?" Alfor asked the kids. "Well, what if when Shiro and I become King and Queen every summer Shiro and Keith will come to Altea so Lance and Keith can have some time together," Allura said and Shiro continued for her.

"Then once they get older and if they fall in love then they could unite both of the kingdoms together," Shiro said and they both looked at their fathers.

"They do have a point and it would be great for our kingdom's." Alfor looked over to Trevor and he nodded with a smile. "Alright, then we'll make sure this happens. But after you two take the thrones. Got it?"

Shiro and Allura nodded and then a guard came running over to them. "Your highness, the sorcerer is planning to attack the kingdom!" King Trevor then ordered his men to find Zarkon and bring him in and Alfor helped as well.

As Zarkon and his assistant Haggar were preparing magic for their attack they were interrupted by King Trevor's and King Alfor's men and Zarkon was arrested, but Haggar got away along with Zarkon's son Lotor. Zarkon was then announced to be sent away far from every kingdom and to live and die alone. Lotor and Haggar never saw Zarkon ever again...

Shiro was crowned King of Voltron, due to his father being gravely ill. He had to take on a lot of responsibilities. During the coronation, a guard had told him that Haggar and Lotor were found and were taken into custody. However, due to Shiro being young and new at these things at the time he decided to banish Haggar and Lotor from the kingdom without their magic.

As the guards and Shiro were releasing Haggar she pushes the guards away then looked at Shiro with an angry and disgusted face.

"We're not finished with you yet! When I get my powers back everything you and your father had and everything you both ever loved will be gone!" Haggar threatened Shiro as he made a serious face and makes sure that the two were gone from the kingdom.

Years had past and Allura soon became queen after her father sadly passed away. But now that both Shiro and Allura were ruling their kingdoms it was then time for Keith and Lance to finally meet once again for their plan to be set in motion.
