Percy's POV

Annabeth and I were taking a walk when we heard people screaming. We ran over there as fast as we could to find 5 children fighting a hell hound. 2 were boys and the others were girls. What were they doing?

I was about to tell Annabeth when I saw what they were holding. One of the boys was fighting with 2 really weird swords. The other was tossing stones at it and was a half snake half human. (I'm to lazy to look up what it's called in Greek mythology) The tallest's weapon was a mace. There was another one with a LITERAL LIGHTING BOLT! It even had flowy electricity stuff around it. The last person was casting spells with a staff. I wonder if she was a witch.

Apparently, I didn't have to tell Annabeth about them because she had already spotted them.

"Get away, you'll get hurt!" For such a wise girl, I guess she didn't notice their weapons.

Maybe some demigods just left their weapons there and this group just picked them up. Maybe I wanted to save them. Whatever the reason, I charged in.

Taking out Ripetide, I was going to turn it into a sword when the snake guy got hit.

"RUDY!" So that's what his name was. I signaled to Annabeth to help me get them away.

We had to carry them away from the battle. They were kicking and screaming the whole way. Like we were the enemies. Ha.

As soon as they were safe, I charged in to finally kill the beast. I stabbed it in the stomach, and it exploded into golden dust. Just another day in the life of Percy Jackson.

I walked up to the group of kids. They wore similar faces of shock and confusion. After the 3 girls stopped looking at each other and nodding their heads, lightning girl stepped forward.

"Who are you?"
