The year is 2015 for 20 years we have been fighting the same enemy. The world is basically in four parts you've got us the allies, the European union(the enemy), the economical Japan, and North Korea. Why this war has lasted for 20 years is because no-one has used any nukes yet (thankfully) while we have the technological advances of Japan they still manage to keep up; how? I have no bloody idea. The war itself has died down a little, you know a little gunfire here, missile explosion or two there maybe a skirmish or three. But nothing near the size when the war first began. Speaking of which at one point or another we started to realise; many of the battles have a lot jet activity. Now I'm not just talking about air strikes for like every good sized battle there's always, always a dogfight going on. In the sky above the battlefield. It was around April of 2004 I think when war shifted from ground to air. Just two years before we smashed the French in 2006. In 2005 on November 29 we launched operation "Wine bottle" an attack from our carriers in the Atlantic ocean, it was the largest airborne operation since the second world war. And since then we held on.(we took Paris on March 15 and France itself on July 22) The union attacked multiple times twice from the south(both in 2009), once from the southeast(2010), and two raid partys from Spain (one in 2010 and the other in 2011) but each time we fended them off. Command thinks they're attacking from Britain next, so now we're headed to secure the English Channel.
