I've just set the last fork on table when a girl struts in.

She's a bit taller than me. She's blonde and her long nails, painted red. The dress that she's wearing should be illegal. It is bright red and just bearly reaches down her thighs. To complete the outfit there are black heels and a little metalic purse clutched under her arm.

"Get me a glass of water." She orders me.

I stutter a little "I...I'm new here."

She places a hand on her hip and barks. "So what?"

"It's my first day here. I don't know where to get a glass of water from." I elaborate.

"Oh! Then you wouldn't know who I am either. Do you?" she asks. I shake my head in reply.

She tosses her hair back over one shoulder and after placing the other hand on her other hip too, she introduces herself.

"My name is Ashley. I spend most of my day here because of my boyfriend. You better find out where all the places are because if the next time I ask you to do something and you don't. Then I'll get you fired myself."

Hearing her say all of this to my face makes anger boil in me. But I know that I need this job. So, I put on a smile and reply politely. "I'm sorry. This won't happen again."

"It better not." She spits at me.

With this she turns around and is about to march out when curiosity takes over me and I call after her "Who is your boyfriend?"

She replies without stopping "You'll find out when the time comes."

I take a deep breath and turn back to the table. I realize that I've done my work. So, I go out to look for Helen. I walk down one corridor and then another. I look into every room that I pass. After a couple of minutes I look into a room which is full of instruments.

My dad used to play the violin and I followed his footsteps. I go into the room. There is a glass cabinet displaying violins of all sizes and types.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" A voice from behind me demands making me jump. I turn around to find Helen at the door.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to take a closer look." I explain.

"Well are you done?" she aks sternly. I nod and follow her down the corridor.

"What is your education qualification?" She asks.

"I'm a graduate from high school." I reply.

"Then why are you doing the work of a housemaid?" She asks.

"Because of my family's status. No one would hire me." I tell her.

She nods and leads the way. She pushes open a large door. When I go in I gasp in awe. There are books lining all the walls. The bookshleves reached upto the roof. Little stairs run here and there. Cosy sofas and coffee tables were scattered all over the room. I look back at Helen after taking in the room.

"Your new assignment is to sort these books out alphabetically. Take your time but not more that two weeks. Everyday you'll come straight here and start working. You'll just have lunch break and then straight back to work. Today was your first day so you can go home now but from tomorrow it's 8.00 to 5.00."

With these final instructions I go back home.
