Ever since the events of "Superior Spider-Man" fiasco, Kevin's life is going downhill in a big scale.

"I regret having to recruited you!"

Everyone started hating him.

"I'm beginning to realize your uncle's death was ACTUALLY your fault!"

His only family.

"MJ made a mistake falling with a menace like you. And I know what you did to my father. YOU KILLED HIM!!!"

His friends.

"That weak little spider is not worthy of my time. I need a big strong man to handle my needs~"

His lovers.

"Scarlet Spider has shown his true nature by attacking all of superheroes all over New York. This just proves how much of a menace he is!"

Everyone. Everyone in New York began to despise the Wall Crawler and Kevin couldn't take it anymore.

Kevin: [Furiously] "FINE!!! If you guys don't want me anymore, then I'll gladly leave this city and NEVER come back! After all I've done to you in keeping you and this city safe from harm, don't be praying for me to come back! You'd brought this on yourselves."

Kevin then put his suit in the garbage to make sure he is clear of quitting, packed his things and left New York to start anew elsewhere.

When the criminals heard about his disappearance, they celebrated by committing various prison riots and even wreaking havoc amongst the city. The Avengers, Defenders, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Web Warriors, and more couldn't do much to stop them.

Some days later, crime has already taken over New York. All of the heroes were defeated one by one. And making things worse, they started being berated and even insulted.

Meanwhile, Kevin is seen in California, Toontown, and purchase a penthouse for himself. He hacked into Tony Stark's bank account and stole half of his money so he can take a flight to another town and purchase his own place to live.

???: "Kevin... it's been so long since I'd last saw you."

Kevin: "That voice... could it be...?"

Kevin turns and meets his childhood friend.

Kim: "I can't believe it's you. How are you?"

Kevin frowned.

Kevin: "Not so good..."

Kim: "Can I come in so you can explain to me?"

Kevin nods at Kim and both of them enter the penthouse, heading to the living room and sat down on the couch together. Kevin then tells Kim everything what's been happening with him and his life back at New York, and let's just say Kim was not happy.

Kim: "Why those ungrateful bastards. After everything you've done for them and their city, they decided to throw you away like trash. So, what did you say to them?"

Kevin: "That I'm done helping them and keeping their city safe. Those heroes can protect their city for all I care, but I'm done with them."

Kim: "Well, sucks to be them. And you know, since you're here, how's about you'd come join our superhero club?"

Kevin: "I don't know..."

Kim: "Oh, come on~ We won't betray you like those ungrateful heroes from New York. We'll make sure we'll welcome you with open arms and help you on any occasions. What do you say?"

Kevin thinks for a moment before forming a genuine smile at Kim.

(Timeskip)

Kevin is seen building an artificial intelligence, and some hours later, it's finally completed.

XJ9: "Greetings, Kevin Reilly. I am XJ9, your personal A.I. and assistant. I can morph myself into weapons and vehicles and was designed to think and feel for themselves, possessing a free will just like humans."

Kevin: "XJ9, huh? Well, I think we need a new name since you're living proof... How's about... Jenny?"

Jenny: "Ohh, I like that name."

Kevin: "Alright, Jenny. Let's put your skills to the test before we can do anything else. We're going to start a great partnership together."

Jenny: [giggles] "As you wish, Daddy~"

Then Kevin takes Jenny to the training grounds as the screen fades to darkness.
