I'm walking in the Viridian forest looking at my new ribbon. If you compete in a contest and win, you earn a ribbon, but if you defeat a gym leader you earn a badge. I put the ribbon away then I sense something and stop walking.

The sense is familiar, the sense that death is just around the corner. "What's wrong?" Ash and Misty ask turning around. I look up and see shadows gliding towards them. "Look out!" I yell as I run towards them pushing them to the ground out of the shadows way.

I get up take out the Blade of Friendship, put on my glasses, and call Mastaru. I break the card and attack the shadows. Many of them come and surround us. Mastaru and I could only attack a few at a time even with thunder reign, panta rhei, Niflheim, and ragnarok. That's when the Evee twins joined the fight. I didn't know how they could fight them, but I couldn't think about it now with the shadows. With the Evee twins helping, we defeated them in no time.

 "How can you fight the shadows?" I ask the Evee twins telepathically, "Only Persona users can." "We are special," they replied, "We were blessed by an almighty being many years ago when we hatched. For you that would be three years ago." "For me it was three years?" I asked confused. "Check your phone," I replied, "You haven't eaten or slept since you got here."

 I checked my phone and saw that it was the same day that I left the real world. I knew that it only felt like an hour and a half, but I actually thought it had been three days. I decided that I would text my friends about this and not text them too much in one day over here so that they aren't spammed by my messages. 

AN: The shadows being there subjects a twist that will happen in a later region, and also the fact that shadows are everywhere, not just in the TV or (spoiler alert) the dark hour/ tarturus. The different time thing is that her third journey will start during summer of that year, so she needs to finish (in Pokémon world terms at this time) years of a journey in only three months.
