"Good night dear," Linda yawned as she curled up beside a small litter of three puppies. Rocky muttered a reply as he let his chin rest on his paws. Of all the things he hated in the world, he despised five things; disrespect, idiots, predators, strays, and mutts. And Gidget had walked a mile over the line. I can't believe that stupid daughter I have! Am I even sure that she contains my blood?! he thought angrily.

Rocky had no time for disrespect or idiots. He believed that he should gain respect from everyone, from humans to hamsters. He was, after all, a world champion with hundreds of awards and a top breeder with a history of eight litters, including the one right now. Idiots, in his opinion, never showed respect to their elders, or anyone for that matter. Then there was the case of predators. Not only was Rocky infuriated that Gidget hung out with one, but she also went ahead and became best friends with one. The strays were even more outrageous. Rocky could still smell the sewers on the rabbit and the freak of nature had all the signs pointing to a stray.

Yet the thing that really set off Rocky was the idea of mutts. He thought that they were contaminated, a completely different species no longer related to other dogs. They were lower than a lowly worm. He also didn't want his bloodlines mixed with another breed's blood. The thought sickened him to the very core. He had ordered all of his children that he wouldn't allow mutts. He even had his own grandchildren drowned when a son of his dated a beagle. For extra measure, he had the beagle drowned as well. He knew some of his children committed suicide while others never even dated. But he didn't care.

Now he was finding out that yet another one of his children broken the rules and was currently dating a Jack Russell terrier, which really made him mad. He hated terriers because they were the ones who usually got bred into mutts.

Suddenly, an idea popped into Rocky's head. I know just what to do about all of this... he thought evilly, a menacing smile creeping on his face. By the end of January, she'll never even THINK about those ridiculous friends!
