Breakfast goes along normally, despite the sudden elimination. I'm still in shock about Kyle having to leave. Mitch and I share a sadness for him, because he was one of or closets friends here. I enjoy breakfast, as usual. The eggs are heaven, and the orange juice is super pure. The best part though I still gotta say are the sausages. There are some strawberry tarts being passed around, and I grab some with tongs. They're super delicious. When I eat them, I think of my little sister, Rachael. She loved sweets in general. She would really love these. I chew on the strawberry tart, sighing as I ate it. It was very tasty. "Sir Adam." A voice calls out my name. I look up, and realize Princess Alesa had just called me. Everyone got quiet. I had food in my mouth still, when everyone turned to me. I tried chewing as fast as I could, getting more embarrassed by the second. Jason was staring at me smugly, like I was some animal. It only took me about 10 second to finish chewing, but to me it felt like ten hours. "Yes your majesty?" I asked, when I had finished chewing. "How are you enjoying your meal?" Princess Alesa looked ready to burst into laughter as she talked with me across the room. She gave me a sly look, as she waited for my answer. That little... "Well Princess, it is very, um, divine. Thank you very much for asking." There are a bunch of snickers throughout the room. Did I literally just say divine? Queen Ashleigh looked amused too. Being the idiot that I was, I decide to elaborate. "These strawberry tarts are especially well cooked. I have a younger sister at home who adores sweets, and I bet these would literally make her cry." "Would you care to wager on that?" Princess Alesa said, raising an eyebrow in curiosity. I smiled. So this was what she was playing at. "I sure would." I grinned mischievously. "How about we barter instead?" Princess Alesa countered. "What would you like if she does cry, Adam?" Wow, she was actually doing this. This was getting interesting. I thought for a moment. "I would like us all to have pizza for dinner one night this week." There were cheers from a bunch of the guys, and King Luke and Queen Ashleigh chuckled. I guess my side of the deal was a little funny, especially since the royal family was used to eating so regally. "Of course." Princess Alesa nodded. "If I win, you owe me a walk in the gardens tomorrow." There were gasps of shock throughout the room. Even the king and queen looked surprised. If I lost, that would mean I would be the first person to have a date with Princess Alesa. "You drive a hard bargain, but I accept your highness." "Consider it done. Jeffrey!" She called to the butler next to her. "Send three boxes of strawberry tarts to the Dalhberg house immediately. Go and make sure the little sister eats one, and be sure to report her reaction. Adam, you should write a letter to send along. That goes for the rest of you, why don't you write letters home today to tell your family how you are doing." Jeffrey nodded to Princess Alesa, and went to get everything in order. I realized with a wave of sadness how much I actually missed my family too. I never really went to sleepovers because I had no friends. We weren't wealthy enough to travel either. I felt a little happier at the thought of writing home, so I finished my breakfast quickly, then walked to my room to get started.
