(Luca's POV)

I don't want to die. My life was so short. I'm only 12. Well, at least my little town will be on the National news. I could already see the headlines. "Twelve Year Old Falls From Building In Small Town of Latrobe, Pennsylvania."

Who would come to my funeral? My friend Casey? I bet he would come. What about my new friend Jem? Surely she would come. Or not. I stopped thinking about my funeral when I saw the ground approaching fast. I closed my eyes as I made contact with the parking lot of the Latrobe Wildcats stadium.

(Jem's POV)  a few days back

"Jemma you better get down here the bus is coming soon." Yelled my mother from downstairs. "I already packed my lunch and did my homework!" I yelled coming down the steps. I didn't like to do my homework at night, so I got up a 6:00 every morning and got ready. I made myself a bowl of cereal and listened to the news. "Plane crash in Nevada. One survivor, pilot not found." I heard a whisper while I was eating my cereal. "I don't know why she gets up so early," it said. "Did you just hear something?" I asked my mom. "No, why?" She replied. "Nothing." I said.

As I got to school and was unloading my locker, the bell rang. "Dang it, I'm going to be late!" The elementary school was okay if you were a little late but next year I would be starting middle school. Then I heard another mysterious whisper. "Please, come rescue me." I heard. It was chanting those four words over and over again. I followed it to a locker and opened it. A boy fell out. "Luca what are you doing?" I ask him. I know the names of everyone in the grade, even if they aren't my friends. "Oh ummm, nothing." He said back. I knew he was probably being picked on, but I had school related things to attend to. "Hey, how did you know I was in there?" He said to me. "I heard you say that you needed to be rescued." I said. "Uh, I never said anything." He said as I started to walk away. What was with me? I knew that people weren't supposed to hear voices out of nowhere.

(Neil's POV) a few days back

"I am your pilot Neil Armstrong, haha, just kidding, I'm Neil Willow. We will be beginning our flight to Las Vegas from Mexico City in just a  few minutes. Please fasten your seat belts and thank you for choosing Air Vegas." I pressed the button that turned on the seat belt light. My co-pilot, Brian, was an arrogant boy that had only been training for 10 months. Today would be his first time in the cockpit.

After a few hours of flying, everything was smooth. I decided to take a bathroom break. "Hey, Brian, fly the plane while I go to the bathroom. Don't go under the cloud line. Watch out for the mountain that should be ahead." I said to him. "Okay, sir." He said back.

As I was walking back to the front of the plane, the plane lurched to the right. I looked out the window. The right wing was gone. I ran into the cockpit. Brian looked scared. "What are you doing?" I asked, well, yelled really. "I don't know I dipped under the cloud line and I ran into the mountain." He said frantically. I was trying my best not to crash. "When you-no- if you get out of this, I'm not signing a letter of recommendation." I said to him, angry.

The ground was approaching fast. I left the cockpit to go and calm the passengers. When I waked in it was a mess. The emergency door was open. People were jumping. I saw a woman jump. I screamed and jumped after her. I was quickly approaching her. I grabbed the woman around the waist.

Then we stopped falling.

(Amanda's POV)

"Here, Buddy, do you want some food?" I asked as I fed the cat.  He purred as he ate, always scarfing down his food. I went back to my room. I stared at a picture of them. The last one I had of them. One I took of them in their fishing gear right before I told them goodbye for the last time. I looked at my son, he was nine and loved fishing. His father finally gave in and took him to the lake. They were supposed to come back in two hours. But they never did. Sad from my picture, I put it back on the nightstand and went to bed, Buddy snuggled up against me.

When I woke up from my nightmare, the entire room was burnt. Even my cat. He wasn't killed, just badly burnt.

Everything.

Everything I had, burnt to a crisp.

Even my last photo of them.
