Seth (POV)
We continue walking throughout these ruins and Jellal stops and grumbles in pain.
Erza- You think you can go on?
Jellal- Yes. I can manage.
Erza- Forgive me. It seems I've been blinded by my drive to stop Nirvana. You're badly hurt and almost all of your magic power has been spent in battle. I need to be mindful of the state you're in now. You should rest.
Jellal- Erza, that's kind but I am the one who released Nirvana upon this world and I must do everything in my power to send it back. I have no other choice.
Erza-....How long?.....I simply can't help myself but ask that. How long must I continue to fight the unending wrongs in this world?
Seth-........As long as it takes. For where there is good, there will always be bad. There is no stopping it. Only keeping it at bay. We are the defenders of all things good and just. That's our job. It may get hella tough sometimes but I wouldn't change anything for the world. Would you?
Erza- No. I guess you're right.
Seth- As for you Jellal, you can't stop this thing if you can barely walk so (grabs Jellal's arm and wraps it around the back of his neck) I'll help you.
Jellal- Thank you Seth. You are a kind soul.
Seth- Don't mention it. Ever.
We begin our jog once more until we hear another set of footsteps coming our way. It was Wendy and Carla.
Wendy- I've found you!
Erza- Look who's here. I was worried about you. Are you ok?
Wendy- Uh huh. Who's the guy with the tail? Is he your friend.
Erza- He is. In fact he's my best friend. This is Seth. The same Seth you healed. He's in his Drakô form right now so it's kinda hard to recognize him.
Seth- (squats down to Wendy's level) Hello again Wendy. I must thank you for saving my life. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you so that you little sis. (Gentle smile)
Wendy- Oh it was nothing. It was my pleasure. (Turns to Jellal) It's good to see you again.
Jellal- Do I know you?
Her eyes go wide then her face goes down on sadness.
Seth- Hey sis look, it's not personal trust me. He's not himself.
Carla- What do you mean child?
Seth- Well, he doesn't remember Wendy nor Erza nor I. Kinda my fault since I almost killed him and then he blew up with etherion. So add that up and you get this Jellal who's lost his memory.
Wendy- You almost killed him? But how?
Seth- That's a story for another time. Jellal, this is Wendy, Wendy Marvell.
Wendy- Hi.
Jellal- Your name's Wendy Marvell? I'm sorry but I don't know you.
Carla- You've lost your memory? If that's the case then you've forgotten how to stop Nirvana haven't you?
Jellal- No, I tried.......I failed. My self destruction magic circle didn't work. There's nothing more that I can do now. I'm sorry.
Wendy- What are we gonna do?
Seth- So you're just gonna give up?
Jellal- Huh?
Seth- (grabs Jellal by the collar of his jacket) You mean to tell me you're giving up?! Wendy's guild is in danger and from what I can tell, we're getting damn near close! I wouldn't be surprised if we're there right now! So don't you dare give up on your comrades now! I spared your ass for a reason because Erza didn't want me too and ass the time went along, I thought you could change! Please don't let me be wrong.
The ground starts to shake and I drop Jellal.
Erza- What was that?
Seth- Only one way to find out.
We run for higher ground so we can get a good look at the surrounding area.
Erza- It can't be.
Wendy- That's Cait Shelter!
Erza- What's going on? There's so much light and magic power. He's going to fire Nirvana!
Carla- No the guild.
I pull Wendy into a hug away from the blast that's about to happen.
Seth- You don't want to see this kid.
Wendy- (starts to cry) My guild. Please noooooo!!!!!
The blast fires onto Cait Shelter spelling the demise for the guild and the Nirvets inside. We have failed.
