Seth (POV)
I wake up and I'm in a bed. My guess is that it's in the infirmary. I sit up and sure enough, I was in just that. I turn to my left to see a bandaged up Erza at my beside with her head on the bed asleep.
Seth- The Hell? How'd I get here and why are you by my beside?
???- It's because she cares about you Seth?
It was Makarov and he was standing at the doorframe.
Seth- I know that. We're best friends after all.
Makarov- No, I mean she really cares about you. Like someone you love.
Seth- (Sigh) That's not true. She doesn't love me. It could never happen. She loves Jellal and yet I love Erza but she'll never see me that way. It's so frustrating.
Makarov comes over and stands at the end of the table.
Makarov- Listen my boy, in your lifetime, you will find and meet one person who will love you more than anybody you know and will know. They will love you with every bit of energy and soul. They will sacrifice, surrender and give so much that it scares you. Someday you'll know who that is. Sometimes people people realize who it was even though it was right in front of them.
He slowly looks to Erza and so do I as I watch her continue to sleep. I start to get the same warmth I get when I'm around her and I can't but smile.
Makarov- Don't be that guy. If you truly love her like you say you do then fight for her.
Seth- I will. Thank you Master.
Erza starts to stir as she is waking up.
Erza- Good morning Master. Good morning Seth. How are you feeling?
Seth- Like shit but don't worry about me, how are you?
Erza- I'm sore all over. You gave me quite the thrashing.
Seth- I'm sorry.
Erza- Don't be. I quite enjoyed the fight but I will beat you one of these days.
Makarov- Excuse me you two but neither of you finished the race so you know what that means.
SE- Oh shit.
Timeskip to a couple days later
So we had to do a cover shoot on the magic sorcerer weekly but I had to dress in a bikini. I lowkey kinda looked like a bad bitch whereas Erza was looked like a 20/10 as usual. I also agreed to the date with Erza despite having won the fight and we also made a full recovery thanks to Wendy. On this particular day however I was just chillin at the guild hall, having a soda at the bar with Wendy and Erza and our cat friends.
Wendy- So big brother, do you have anything planned for today?
Seth- No nothing in particular. I might take a job from the request board because I'm starting to get bored.
Erza- If you do decide to do that, may I accompany you?
Seth- Yeah of course. You don't even have to ask at this point. Just come along if you feel like it.
Suddenly the guild hall doors burst open and two guild members run in.
Guild members- We have big news!!
The bell towers in the city start ringing and I can't help my grin as my magic energy starts to rise unconsciously.
Wendy- Uh big brother, what's going on?
Carla- It sounds like bells.
Elfman- Oh yeah!
Grey- That's awesome.
Erza- He's finally back. It seems like ages. Uh Seth?
Seth-.......He's here.
Guild- Gildarts is back!!!
Lucy- Gildarts? Who's that?
Mira- He's the strongest wizard in fairy tail or should I say he's tied for the strongest wizard in fairy tail. The other is of course Seth.
Erza- Mhmm. I don't even hold a candle to them when they get serious.
My death god magic creates a red and black aura around me as I stand up from my stool.
Mira- Uh oh. I knew this was gonna happen if he showed up again.
Wendy- What? What is it?
Erza- Well let's just say that the last time these two fought, the almost blew up all of Fiore had Master Makarov not interfered. The thing is, Seth was still just a child. He wasn't even in fairy tail yet. Seth as been itching to finally settle the score and bring a conclusion to the fight that never finished.
Seth- Gildarts.......
