Above is something @ButterflyWriter13 made. You should check out her profile! It's for the character Logan, and it captures him perfectly!

District 1

"Mom, what do you mean I can't quit?" Kayley whined.

"Kayley, we need your image. If you win this, we'll become the most well respected family in the district!" her mother explained.

"I don't care about that! It's going to be dirty!" Kayley whined.

"You have to go, and that's final." her mother stated.

Kayley growled in frustration, and threw her hands up. She pointed at her mother in an accusing manner.

"Peacekeepers, take her away!" she yelled, as the burly men started to escort her out.

"Get your hands off of me! I'll have you know I'm a very well respected woman, and if you lay another finger on me, I'll ruin your lives!" her mother screeched in vain, as they took her out of the room.

She had already had her annoying dad escorted out. He was so bothersome, always telling her her actions have consequences, and to play nice. Kayley steamed at the situation, and unconsciously flipped a lock of hair. Meanwhile, the other boy was sitting in a room, waiting for his father to come. Too bad he would never arrive.

District 2

"Michelle, this is a perfect chance to prove your worth!" her mother said, arguing.

"You need to uphold this district's image! You know darn well sure that the other boy won't!" her father added.

She thought to herself about what was about to happen. She remembered feeling grief stricken that she hadn't volunteered to be along Nate. At least they would have died together.

"I won't kill. No matter what. I'm doing this for Nate." Michelle argued.

"Yes, you will!" her mother said back.

"Michelle, to survive, you need to attack. Be vicious, show no mercy!" her father said, raising his voice.

Michelle started to feel threatened by his presence. It wouldn't be the first time he lost his temper. So she did the natural thing.

"Leave." Michelle stated quietly.

"What?" her father growled back, his anger rising.

She had never talked back before, she was always quiet. But not now.

"I said leave! I don't need you guys putting even more weight on me! Stay away, like you've done for all of my life!" she exploded.

Her dad started to seethe, and pulled a hand back, but her mother put a hand on his arm. They silently left the room, her dad grumbling about his "worthless daughter."

In the other room, a civilized conversation was taking place.

"Why did nobody else volunteer? Why would they take this kid?" Logan's dad said, pacing back and forth across the room.

"Dad-" Logan tried to interject.

"Why would they take him from me? Haven't I suffered enough?" he continued.

"Dad, I'm going to be okay. It's all going to be okay. You know the Capitol, they can't pass up a pity party like me." Logan said.

"Logan, don't talk about yourself that way." his dad said.

Then he leaned in close, hoping bugs and cameras wouldn't catch him.

"I've pulled some strings, and they're going to test some experimental tech on you. You might be able to get your legs back." his dad whispered.

"Really? You believe the Capitol will keep a promise? I'm never getting my legs back, just like I'm never getting mom back." Logan stated.

"Time's up." the gruff man said.

His dad gave him a wink on his way out, following the peacekeeper.

District 3

Avera and Mikey both sat in their respective rooms, waiting for people who would never come. Mikey had no living relatives, and Avera's family was too busy taking care of her sister. Avera tried to hold her emotions in, and let out a sigh.

She knew the chances were slim that her family would come, but she had naively hoped they would visit. Of course, she knew her sister would need all of the care they could get. Every penny earned was put into her treatment.

It just happened that her medical visit would coincide with the one day they could visit. She was bitter, and a bit mad anybody had to go through this. She was angry, because the Capitol had denied giving them the things that could help her sister.

District 4

Atticus didn't think anyone would visit him, so it was a surprise when the door opened.

"You idiot! Mom says you volunteered for the Games!" his sister shouted at him.

"I need to prove my worth. Even strength must bow down to wisdom, and I'm here to prove it." Atticus replied.

His sister just growled angrily, and started to pace around the room.

"I'm here to win this, so you can keep your worry." Atticus said.

"I have a token for you." his sister said, throwing a small object.

He fumbled for it, and miraculously caught it. It was a simple armband, woven from various materials. It was brown, and fit him perfectly.

"It catches fire easily, so keep it out of the heat." his sister said, leaving the room.

Atticus gave a cruel little smile to himself. His sister was learning.

Very few of the other districts had visitors. After all, no-one wants to visit the doomed.

District 11

"Callisto, make sure you come back." her mother said.

Callisto was shocked to hear such nice words from her usually strict mother.

"After all, you owe us so much for everything we've done for you. It will be easier to pay if you actually have money." her mother continued.

"Really? All you're thinking about is money?" she said, hurt.

"Don't disrespect your mother." her dad warned.

He slightly moved his hand, and she immediately flinched.

"There's another visitor." the peacekeeper called to them

"Excuse me, I think there is somebody who wants to see me." Callisto said politely.

"Do not disappoint, Callisto." her father remarked, as they walked out the door.

Next, her grandmother came in. Her grandmother had tears in her eyes, but immediately wiped them out.

"Remember everything you've learned, Callisto. I need you to come back." she said.

"I'll be back before you know it. I remember all of the skills you taught me, and that already put me ahead of the competition." she replied, drawing her into a hug.

"Callisto, stay strong. I need to tell you one last thing." her grandmother said. "Haven't you ever wondered how I know so much? How I know what the Games can take away?"

She hadn't often. Maybe once or twice, but it was a small thought.

"I was supposed to be reaped, but my sister volunteered. We had both been training, but she was reckless, never could be in one spot. You remind me of her." her grandmother spoke.

What she had said rocked Callisto's world. Millions of thoughts and questions were swirling through her mind. She had never wondered where grandmother had gotten her skills, but it made sense.

"A token." her grandmother said.

She gingerly placed the necklace on Callisto's neck. It had several charms. Silver stags, beautiful tropical birds, but the most important was in the middle. The middle was a little hat weaved of stick, obviously not professionally made, but made by someone who had done it countless times.

Her tears seemed to try to burst out of her eyes.

"It was my sister's." grandmother said, her eyes stinging.

They both collapsed into each other's embrace. They wanted to never leave, to stay there forever. Unfortunately, the Games did not care about the contestant's wants. It was sad, sad day that the two parted. As it was sad for all.

District 12

"Justin, why would you volunteer for the tournament! You're just a kid!" his father exploded.

"I can take care of myself." Justin said stubbornly.

"I have lost three children to the Tournament! You are not going to be able to win this! You're just not ready!" his dad responded.

"Dad, I'm not dying! I will come back, and you'll take back your words! You're always sad about losing four children, but did you ever stop to think I lost four siblings?"

"You're running to your grave! Your mother can't handle anymore grief, she'll die! Is that what you want? Her death on your hands?" his father shouted.

"Get out! I'm going to prove myself! You'll see!" he said, pointing a finger at the door.

His father took something out of his pocket and threw it at him.

"You're oldest brother's necklace. I stole it to add a new token." his dad said, walking out.

He looked at the new addition, and his eyes started to sting. It was a locket charm, with a picture of all of their family united, and smiling. He felt like shouting out, like screaming, like running away. But he had made a promise. He was going to win this thing, and prove everybody wrong.

I'll win this. For my siblings. he silently promised himself, as he heard the faintest crack of thunder outside.

In the other room, a father and daughter were hoping to never part.

Her father gripped her into a huge hug, as she felt his embrace.

"Goodbye, dad." she said.

"No. You're not dying, Emily. You're going to come back, and we'll celebrate. No goodbyes. Just hellos to new futures." her father said weakly.

She didn't want to lie, but couldn't stand to see her father like that.

"Yeah, I'll be back. Keep my sketchpad locked up, okay?" she said, hoping it was true,

"I brought you a token." her dad said.

It was a small leatherbound journal, no bigger than a leaf. She opened it, and saw a few worn out colors and erasers. Her eyes watered at the sight, as she held her tears in. They were poor, and leather was a luxury. This must have been a fortune, and cost him an arm and a leg.

"Thanks." she said, on the verge of tears.

She gave a weak attempt at a smile at her father, as she was overcome with emotions. Life just wasn't fair. Her mother was dead, and her father was the most hardworking man she knew, but they were poor.

She could almost imagine the Gamemakers laughing at her, right then. She made a promise to herself.

I will come back. she thought in her head. No matter what happens, I'll be back.

There was only one contestant left. Merari "Awry" Richter, of District seven. I've saved her for last, because she is special. Special to her brother, and special to her father.

At the last possible minute, her father and brother walked in.

"Where are you going?" her brother asked in a childish manner, hopping on one foot.

She didn't want to scare her brother, she wanted to keep him in the dark about this whole mess.

"I'm going to infinity and beyond." she said, grabbing his hand.

"You see the sky? I'm going to go to the stars, and I'm coming back. Just. For. You!" she said, poking his stomach on the last three words.

He giggled at her, as she laughed at the fun. Her father and her brother enveloped her into a giant hug, feeling whole.

"Make sure they don't dress you in anything too scandalous, you hear me?" her father joked, hiding the pain of losing his daughter.

"Goodbye, dad." she said, as the peacekeepers came into the room to escort them out.

"Goodbye, my shining star." her father got out before being roughly pushed out of the room.

How do you like it? I love feedback and how I can improve. I only need a few more characters in! The reason I didn't have you guys make all of them is because I needed a lot for the bloodbath that's coming. See you guys soon!

If my interpretation of your character is wrong, please tell me! And if your character wasn't here, mention it! I'm trying to get the next chapter done by Wednesday or earlier.
