A week has past since Marinette and Adrien found the answers they sought.  Adrien decides it is time to give the necklace he found to Marinette.    The only thing is he feels like she means more to him than a best friend at this point in time.   Without telling her, he takes it to the jewelry shop to have the inscription adjustment made.  Now he waits anxiously for it to be complete.  When it is done, he takes a look at it, smiles, pays the jeweler and leaves to go see Marinette. 

     "Hey, Marinette!"  Adrien says

   "Hey, Adrien!"  Marinette says

   "I have something for you!" Adrien says.  He hands her a box with a blue ribbon on it.

       Marinette looks at him in surprise. She opens the box and sees this beautiful silver necklace with a blue pendant on it.  She smiles at him as she reads the inscription engraved into the chain.

     To:  Marinette  "Best Friend Forever"  &  "My True Love"

     with love, yours, Adrien   ps. Please accept this as a token of my love to you!

    "Oh, Adrien it is even more beautiful than I imagined it would be!"  Marinette says.

    "Does this mean you accept it?"  Adrien asks.

    "Yes!  Thanks so very much, Adrien!"  Marinette says.  She smiles,stands on her tip toes and kisses him on his left cheek.

    "Wow!"  Adrien blushes.

     Marinette giggles.

   "What is so funny?"  Adrien says.

    " You are!  You are so adorable when you blush!"  Marinette replies.

    "Oh, yeah?"  Adrien says.

     "Yeah!" Marinette says. 

  Adrien tickles her and she giggles.  He laughs too.

   "Adrien, when did you have time to update the inscription for the necklace?"  Marinette asks.

    "Oh, I just had that done this morning,"  Adrien says.

   "Wow, you did that just for me?"  Marinette cries.

   "Why are you crying?  I never meant to upset you," Adrien says.

   "I am not sad.  I am crying because I am so happy!"  Marinette says.

   "I  love you! " Adrien says.

   "I love you too!"  Marinette says

   "I will love you no matter what!  I mean that with all my heart!" Marinette says.

    "I am glad to hear it!  " Adrien grins big.

   " Adrien, when did you first fall in love with me?"  Marinette asks.

   "Uh, well it is kinda complicated to explain, " Adrien says.

     "Oh, how so?"  Marinette asks.

    "Well, I feel in love with you twice!" Adrien says.

    "Really?" Marinette says.

   "Yes, really!  The first time I knew  I loved you was in the past when I first meet you.  I loved you even more when you were sixteen and I felt like I could never love you more than in that moment!  I was heartbroken when my father told me your mother had said, you never wanted to see me again.  I thought the message she gave was from you.  I didn't know it was her cruel way of ripping us apart. I am so sorry about that Marinettte!"  Adrien says.

   "I forgive you, Adrien!  It is okay.  You didn't  know.  Besides, my mother made it sound like you hated me. She told me that you helped your father kill your mother.  I of course did not believe it as I saw what really happened and you were not even in the room at  the time. Then, she told me that you wanted nothing to do with me as I was just the daughter of the local doctor who was also a baker.  I was not sure if she was lying about this or not.  I was just to afraid to find out if she was right or not," Marinette says.

   "It sounds like she tried to keep us apart, but in the end we found each other anyway!" Adrien says.

 "Yes, that is exactly what happened my love." Marinette says.

 "The second time I feel in love with you was when I saw you in the park. You were in your special spot alone looking at the stars.  I knew right then you were the one for me.  It was love at first sight, or more like love at first sight round two."  Adrien says.

  "Wow, that is so romantic!" Marinette says.

  "I hear it runs in the family. Romance that is," Adrien says.

  "Oh, really?"  Marinette says.

  "Yes, with us Agreste when we fall in love with just know!  Also, when we fall in love their is nothing anyone can do or say to stop us from being with the one we love!" Adrien says.

 "I will always cherish this necklace as a gift of  love from you!" Marinette says.

Adrien smiles up at her, and gently wraps one arm around her.  Marinette just sits their next to him on his sofa.  The two lovebirds enjoy this time alone together.
