I stood in front of the big lake looking around, admiring the view. I was once again in the forest I shouldn't be in, this time free of being chosen to be send to my death.

The quiet and peace was ruined when I heard a twig to snap. I stood up, alerted, and loaded my bow, pointing it at the person behind me.

''Woah, woah,''Jay said, holding his hands in front of himself.''Easy.''he added and continued walking towards me, while I put my bow down, breathing heavily.

He broke the silence seconds into it.''Saw some turkeys on the way here,''he said.''Crossed right in front of me like I wasn't even there.''he said, sadness in his voice.

''How rude of them,''I said as jokingly, but I can see he was kind of offended.

''Yeah,''he said.''That's what happens when you work in a mine six days of the week and stupid birds start to think that they own these woods.''he spoke.

After the reaping a few weeks ago, Jay turned eighteen, which meant he had to start working in the mines, like every other male above eighteen.

''When does the tour leave?''he asked.

''Couple hours,''I said.

The Victory Tour was to take place three weeks after the game finish. The victor(or victors in our situation) was to go around all Districts from last to first, excluding their own. They had to talk about how great the other tributes in their games were and to say sorry to their families. At the end of the tour, you go back to your District and have a feast. The only people who do not join are the people who's family member died, but since bot Kai and I won this year, everybody will be joining, I expect.

''Well, let's go,''Jay said.

I went back to my snares to check them and saw that I caught one rabbit. I untied it front the trap and put it in my game bag. Jay saw I caught something else and he was collecting it.

We walked down a river and heard some turkeys. The two of us kneeled down behind some rocks and I watched them. Loading my bow, I focused and shot.

All of the sudden, the boy I shot in the game, Marver, appeared in front of the turkeys and the arrows when in his heart.

I screamed and leaned on the rocks, trying to calm myself down. Jay was trying as well.''Sky! Skylor! It's okay! You're safe!''he said, calming me down a bit. I heard the turkeys again and looked over my shoulder. Marvel was gone and the animals were running away from fear.''You're here with me, it's okay. It's okay.''he continued speaking.

''Okay, okay,''I repeated, trying to calm my breathing.''I'm sorry.''I almost whispered.

''We...''I spoke, retrieving my bow from the ground.''We should go.''I finished and Jay nodded, then the two of us started walking back.

Since I came back from the games, my nightmares have been worse. I dream that I'm back in the games or that Amber is there or that Kai dies in there and I come back alone.

Jay and I walked to one trunk and stuffed our bows and arrows there, then walked back to the District. Nobody saw us coming from there, but not that they will rat us out anyway.

We walked through the District, passing man going to work in the mines. I stopped when we were behind some houses.''Are you coming to the train station?''I asked him.

''Wish I could. I have some work,''Jay said, sadly.''But I'm sure you have enough people to send you.''Jay said.

I cracked a small smile.''There are just a few I care about,''I said.

He smiled and opened his arms.''Come here,''he said and I walked into his embrace. He kissed my forehead, but not in a romantic way. Him and I are like siblings, and he has Nya already anyway.

''I will be back before the snow melts,''I spoke, still in his embrace.

''I know,''he said.

****

I walked up the hill and to the Victor's Village. Every District has one of those. Once you win The Hunger Games, you get a house and money until you die, and live without worrying about going back in the Games, ever. Currently, only three houses are occupied-Mine, Cole's and Kai's, who moved here without his family, since they decided he was old enough to live alone. Even though they stayed in the City, they come up here almost every weekend and Nya's here almost every day.

Cole, though, lived with his dad, who's a really nice man and dad and he have become friends quiet quickly.

As I was walking, lost in my thoughts, I noticed Buttercup, Amber's cat(which despises me, but the feelings are mutual). He hissed at me, but I ignored him.

I walked to Cole's house and knocked on the door.''Cole!''I yelled, but no response. I opened the door, since they don't lock it, and walked to the living room to see Cole sleeping soundly on the table. Deciding to have some fun, I took a glass of water that was next to him and poured it on his head.

''What?!''he yelled and jumped up, while I was laughing.''What was that for?!"he asked, kind of pissed.

''It's tour day,''I reminded him.

''Oh, right,''he said.''I'm gonna get ready.''he said and walked upstairs, leaving me alone. I left and walked to my new home.

I opened the door and removed my jacket.''Dad? Amber? I'm home!''I yelled. My dad showed up with a worried expression.

''Sky, we have visitors,''he said and all of the sudden two peace keepers showed from the hall.

''Miss Chen?''they said when they saw me.''This way, please,''

BOOM! Another update. And I'm FINALLY on book two. I have no idea how it took me so long to finish the first one... Anyway, it's the weekend finally, after maybe the worst week ever in my whole life, but yeah.....Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for reading! Stay awesome!<3
