I walked out of the elevator and saw Kai coming out from the other one. I rushed towards him and pushed him a little.

"Why did you say that!?"I screamed at him and lunges again, but Cole stopped me.

"Hey! Stop it!"Cole said, putting his arms between me and Kai."He won you more sponsors like that. You are star crossed lovers from now, and you should act like that. It might just keep you alive."Cole explained.

I looked at Kai one time to see him looking at me kind of disappointing, then I shifted my gaze and walked away.

He doesn't really like me, he just used it so we could stay alive, which I should be grateful for, but I am not. I don't want the whole county to believe a lie.

I walked back to my room and took a shower, removing the glitter from my skin.

I stirred in bed, but couldn't fall asleep. I got up from the bed and put something like a jacket on, then walked towards the roof.

I climbed up and opened the door, first noticing all the lights from the city, and heard people cheering.

Then, I noticed another person, sitting on the edge and looking at the city."Hi."I said and the person turned around too look at me. It was Kai.

I walked to the edge and sat down opposite of him."Can't sleep either?"I asked. He nodded. I looked towards the city, as he had done before I came.

"I am sorry for earlier. It wasn't right of me to do that."I told him.

He shrugged."It's alright, I guess."he said.

We looked back at the city in silence for a while."You know, what I said on the interview?"he said and I looked at him again. He sill was avoiding my gaze."It wasn't a lie."he said. My eyes went wide. He did like me. Kai Smith, the Kai Smith liked me.

"Well, good luck, Sky,"Kai said, getting up."Night."he said and kissed my cheek gently, then walked away before I could do or say anything.

I stared off to the space, blushing like a tomato, as I pressed a hand on the cheek he kissed. Sadly, he told me right before one or both of us is going to die.

The next morning, I didn't eat much. I didn't see Kai either, since he came to eat way before me and then took off towards the arena. We would be in different planes.

I was given a black shirt and dark green cargo pants, and army boots. That was the clothes all he then tributes would be wearing.

I was escorted to a plane then, where eleven more tributes were waiting for me.

The plane took off and one woman came to us, asking to extend our arms, then injecting something in them.

She came to me after six others."Give me your hand, please."she said.

I did so."What's that?"I asked as she took it and pressed the device in my arm.

"It's your tracking device."she said and then I felt the sharp pain. I hissed and then she just walked to the next tribute.

We arrived and I was escorted to some room, alone. Inside was Lloyd, waiting for me. We talked for a moment, then he handed me a jacket. It was waterproof, I think, and the other tributes got the same.

He then opened the inside of the jacket and showed me the mockingjay pin. He put his finger over his lips and gestured for me to keep quiet.

"You know I can't bet, but if I could, it would be for you."Lloyd said. I smiled and squeezed his hand.

"Thanks, Lloyd."I told him.

We embraced each other. When we pulled, he looked me in the eye, hands on my shoulders, see you soon, Girl On Fire."He said, giving me a small smile.

I returned the gesture, then entered the cylinder glass elevator. I stepped in the platform and the door closed. I looked back at Lloyd, who nodded at me.

The platform started rising and I waited to see the arena. What would it be? Ice cold? Desert warm?

The area came into view and I looked around. The arena was a jungle. It's gonna be alright, I guess.

I looked around the cornucopia, and suddenly noticed the silver bow and arrows, but then I heard Cole's voice in my head.

"Don't go for the bow. Just run and find water."it said.

But I have to take the bow, I won't survive without it.

The countdown started, and now we have to wait, or else we will get blown up.

I looked around the tributes, looking for Kai. I saw him some tributes away from me. He mate my gaze and shook his head. He knew I will go for the bow.

I heard the siren going off, then Seneca Craine's voice."Let the seventy-fourth Hunger Games, begin!"

Guys, I am so sorry I didn't update on Wednesday or though the week, but I was so tired and had so much to study and my grandma is visiting and I am so tired and ughhhhh...
I haven't slept properly from a week, like gosh....
