"Yeah, I'm sure,"Kai said, looking at the two."That was her snare back there."he added and then continued walking after Clove and the boy from District 1.

Glimmer and Cato stayed behind, looking at Kai.

"Are you sure we shouldn't just kill him now?"Glimmer asked, crossing her arms and looking at Cato.

"Nah. He's our best chance of finding her."Cato said, referring to me."Let's go."he said and took her hand, then the two walked away. I watched them and suddenly noticed the silver bow. I have to take it somehow.

I rested my head on the tree and closed my eyes, trying to take some sleep, only one thought in my head. Kai is with the Careers.

I woke up to the smell of something burning and a loud noise. I blinked a few times to adjust to the light, which was way too bright. Suddenly, I started feeling way too hot on the left side.

I turned my head to the left and noticed the woods in fire. I panicked and fast untied myself, stuffing everything in the sleeping bag, jumping down from the three and then running away from the fire.

I managed to ran farther from it, but the fire was fast too.

All of the sudden, fireballs started flying towards. I managed to dodge most of them, but one went extremely close next to my right hip, burning it.

I yelled from the burning sensation spreading through my leg and fell down, rollin on a small hill.

Once down, I got up and ran to some fallen rocks, sitting under them.

I was panting, my leg hurting. I looked down at it to see the peeling red skin. The wound was big.

I tried to lift the fabric, but it hurts too much. I can't.

After a while, I couldn't hear the flames anymore. I stood up slowly and painfully, and took a look at the forest. The fire was gone, like it was never there.

I looked around my new surroundings. Suddenly, I spotted the thing I was searching for.

In front of me was a clear, filled with water pond.

I ran to it as fast as I could and fell on my knees, drinking as much water as I can take.

I filled my bottle and put some water on my burned leg, lessening the burning a little.

Suddenly, I heard laughing.

"There she is!"Glimmer's annoying voice said. I looked up and saw her, the careers and Kai. He was looking at me, but I couldn't look him in the eye.

I turned around and ran as fast as I could. I heard their laughter and cheers not so far behind.

I started climbing up a three and was one fourth from it when they caught up to me.

"You're dead, twelve!"Cato yelled and I think started climbing after me.

"Get her Cato!"Clove yelled and everyone started yelling things like for him to be faster and so on.

Unfortunately, Cato is not as good in climbing as me. And was too heavy.

As he gripped one branch, it gave off and he fell on his back.

I seated myself on one of the thick branches and looked down.

"Maybe you should try with the bow."I said, mockingly.

With these words, Glimmer took the bow and an arrow, and pointed it at me. I should really keep my mouth shut.

She shot the arrow, but didn't hit me. Cato got angry."Give it to me."he said and took the bow. He got an arrow from Glimmer and pointed at me again, missing too.

"Let's just wait for her to get down. She can't stay up there forever."Kai said.

"Alright. Let's do that."Cato said and they all left their things on the ground and started making a small camp.

I looked down at them and saw Kai looking at me with a sad expression, as if he was sorry. As if he was apologizing for what he was doing.

I looked away from him and to my leg. When the Adrenalin kicked in, I totally forgot about the pain, which was now retuning.

I took some more water from my bottle and poured it on my leg.

Later that night, after the anthem and the pictures of the fallen tributes, I was trying to fall asleep, but the pain was too much to bear.

Suddenly, a beeping noise could be heard. I looked up and saw a beeping red dot. It got closer to the tree and I saw that it was a parachute.

It fell a little above me. I untied myself as fast and as quietly as I could and stood up I take it.

I sat back down with the silver container in my hands. I opened it and inside was a small, round, metal box and a note. I took it and read it.

I put the note aside and took the small container. I opened it and indeed, inside was a medicine. I must be having a lot of sponsors if Cole was able to afford that.

I took some of the medicine and put it on the burned part of my leg.

I felt the relief immediately. I almost groaned from it.

I put everything in my backpack and tied myself against the three and closed my eyes for a second, then opening them again and looking at some random dot, hoping that there's a camera there.

"Thank you."I muttered and then closed my eyes, falling asleep.

Okay, I feel like this chapter is SUPER short, I don't know why, it's like 930 words or something.
