After buying some costumes for tonight's Halloween party at the School Hall, the three of us hurried to my house to change our costumes. But before we went back home, Jacob took us for an early dinner at the nearest restaurant as his sorry for making fun of me at the costume shop. At first, I denied but seeing Dorian and Logan wish to come with Jacob's invitation I didn't have any choice, so I joined him.

When we arrived, Jacob ordered one table for us by the terrace so we could enjoy our meal with some Autumn breeze wind. He said that we can do anything we want. Logan chooses to eat steak with fries and some tea, while for Dorian he chooses cakes and pies. Before I can order, turns out Jacob already ordered my meal first. He knew my favorite. Pepperoni pizza with fries and corn cream soup with warm mint tea.

"Is this enough for sorry?" He asked and I just giggled to see him smiling.

"Yes, Jacob... It's enough... Thank you, why don't you eat too? On a diet?" I replied and he looked at the waitress who brought some black pudding and a block of brownies.

"Who said I didn't eat?" He replied but I just laughed.

We eat while talking and teasing each other. Jacob already become more mature and better since the last time I met him. He even drove us to my house, he said that he wanted to meet my parents and invite them to his house because my aunt wanted to meet them.

"Thank you, Jacob," I said while opening the car door to get out of his car.

"No problem, well I'm sorry about what happened... I'm not supposed to do that in the first place, I hope that can make up your mind... Well, get ready then, Student Body President! It's Halloween, your last Halloween right?" He replied and I nodded.

With that, I get out of his car and lead the way for Dorian and Logan to my room. While Logan talked to my parents in the family room.
I sat blankly looked at the mirror and sighed.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Asked Logan while holding my shoulder.

I shook my head and Logan also Dorian came closer to me and patted my back gently. They knew that this was our last Halloween, and the next we would separately go to different Colleges and places but the most hurtful thing was, that there was a chance I'd go with Jacob after I graduated from Senior High and took medical school.

"It's okay... Hey, hey... We will always be here! Besides, there's no way you won't come back here for Christmas right? We can celebrate Halloween on Christmas just the three of us here, no need to worry" Said Logan comforting me.

"Logan's right, Mike... You're not alone, I'm sure after this year's Halloween we still can enjoy some more Halloween together" Add Dorian and I looked at them with sour smiles.

"Other than we cry about this, how bout if we prepared for the party? Especially you, Mike... You're the Student Body President, and you need to lead this year's Halloween Party at school" Replied Dorian.

Me and Logan nodded and one by one we changed into our costumes. When we finished it already reached 7.00 PM and the Trick or Treating had already begun. The party will start by 8.00 PM so we still have time for around an hour to do Trick or Treating first. The three of us took the pumpkin bag that we bought at the costume shop and went door to door for Trick or Treating.

At first, everything seemed normal and okay since the School was located right by the end of the Street, so we took that way at the same time. We got many candy, sweets, and chocolates from the neighborhood. On our way, we met some of our school friends as well and they were asking will we go to the Halloween School party or not, and I said we would after Trick or Treating.

The next we turn before the last house and will directly take us to School. I catch something that smells so sweet and fragrant in the air.

"Hey, do you guys smell it too?" I asked Dorian and Logan beside me.

They smell the night air that mixes with the Autumn breeze and crisp fall leaves. At first, they said they didn't smell it but once they smelled it again, they smelled the same as I do.

"Yes"

"Where do you think it's come from?" Logan said while looking here and there for direction.

"I don't know... But as far as I know, our neighborhood has a spooky tale about Witch House, the one near the forest, that old Manor" I replied and they nodded.

"I think we should check it! It's still 7.30 after all... What's Halloween without something spooky to look at?" Dorian said but I hurriedly stopped him.

"No! I don't think it's a good idea, we can just go to School and party there" I suggest but Dorian seems not okay with that.

What could I say? His Badboy vibes are truly strong and the aura of adventure from him is unquestionable. Finally, I decided to join him along with Logan, we walked closer and closer to Old Spooky Manor by the end of the dead-end road. That house looks more spooky than ever! The darkness surrounding the house makes look like it was swallowed by Halloween night. I thought nothing would be there but when we arrived, we found out that the Old Manor was covered by many Jack O'Lanterns with spooky faces all over the house. Not just Jack O'Lantern but also torches and a stack of Pumpkin and hay.

"What? Who placed all of this?" I asked disbelief with my own eyes to see it.

"It's impossible! This Manor never has anyone lived for more than hundreds of years... This Manor used to be the most majestic house for the most wealthy person in our neighborhood at that time... But the rest after the war, this Manor is abandoned until it looks like a haunted house" Added Logan.

"We should check it out! Come-on!" Said Dorian without any hesitation.

"WHAT?!" Me and Logan replied with shock upon  hearing him.
