The sun is setting and we are all still sprawled out on the beach. Most of the families are packing up and making their way home. We are all just watching as the sun dives into the water. Isabella suddenly stands up answering the call as she walks up and down the beach.

"How are you holding up?" I ask Percy as he lies next to me. His eyes are shut and his arms are crossed over his chest. "I think I've fallen asleep about 5 times while lying down like this." He chuckles. "You can't be tired already it's only 8 pm. The night is young and the sun has only now gone down." He opens one eye watching me "Easy for you to say you probably were asleep until 10 again. I've been up since 7." I smile settles on his face. "Well don't make your problems mine." I let out a giggle. "Come on we only have like 16 hours to go before we technically leave this place." I watch the heavy rise and fall of his chest and notice how he's managed to just fall asleep in the middle of our conversation.

I roll my eyes giving myself a mental note to remind him about this for the rest of our lives. I turn to see if Isabella is still on the phone and almost jump as she takes a seat next to me. "I'm not that ugly. You don't have to jump when you see me." She laughs at her joke. "That's not it. I just didn't expect you when I was turning my head." She gives me a blank stare "Yeah, sure." Her choice of words makes me roll my eyes. "So who were you talking to?" I ask her as she plays with the edges of her phone. "Grayson. He says he's feeling better so he'll see us later."

I nod "Oh okay cool. I'm sorry for what happened this afternoon. It was an accident." I start playing with my fingers. "Don't even worry about it. He should've been looking at the ball so it's technically his fault." I laugh at the memory of the red bruise stuck on his forehead. "It was a pretty good shot if I do say so myself." I agree with Isabella making her nod.

"It looks like they are setting up for a party over there." Isabella points to the other side of the beach. Lights are pointing up to the sky, a few speakers are standing around a big stage made of wooden panels. A few people are standing around. Probably getting everything ready for the show. "Seems like a big one considering the lights and speakers," I add still staring in the direction of the stage. "It's a good thing we're pulling an all-nighter then, isn't it?" I turn towards Isabella with a smile growing on my face. "Definitely."

The music is ringing through my head as I jump with the rest of the crowd. Grayson has just appeared and Isabella went to get him, leaving Percy and me to dance. Everyone is hopping up and down to the beat of the music. The song stops and a new one instantly starts playing. I instantly stop jumping. I wait for the melody of the song and I feel my body swaying in slow movements as the music slows and people start grabbing their partners to dance. A tap on my shoulder takes me out of the trance and Percy stretches out his hand motioning for me to take it. I smile at his gesture, taking his hand as he pulls me towards him "Saved by my trusty dance partner." I say dramatically making Percy chuckle. "Yeah, I know. What would you do without me?" I throw my hand over his shoulders as he moves his hands to my hips. "Isn't it weird that they are playing a slow song at a beach party?" he scrunches his eyebrows together as he thinks. "You know... after this vacation nothing surprises me anymore so... No." He shines me a toothy grin and I feel my body melt.

The song ends and I slowly let go. His hands still linger around my waist. I look down at his hands before looking back up at him. I feel him freeze before letting his arms fall to his sides. He clears his throat. "I wonder where Isabella went." He looks around "She went to go find Grayson." I answer him. A new song starts playing. "Come on we better start dancing before people bump us out of the way." We move more to the middle of the crowd getting lost in the music again.

I feel someone bump into my shoulder and I turn to see who. With a giggling Isabella grabs hold of my shoulder. "Sorry someone tripped me, luckily I grabbed onto you and not some random person." She says letting go. "It's okay. Did you find Grayson?" She turns around. "I did but I think I lost him in the crowd again." I face palm myself "Oh that's great." I giggle making her laugh. "What did I miss?" We jump at Grayson's voice screaming from behind us.

I look at his forehead. Putting my hand in front of my mouth to hide my laugh. As if he could sense my laugh he turns to me with a glare, trying to hide a smile. "Don't even start." He says. "I didn't say anything..." I reply. "Well, I could tell. I know it looks worse just leave me and George alone." He points to the bruise on his forehead. "You named it?" I burst out in laughter. "Well since he was my only friend for the past few hours yes. I named him."

I turn to Isabella who in return just gives me a shrug, shaking her head. "I give up."

Percy suddenly also joins us from the crowd. "How the hell are you supposed to get through this crowd? I could swear someone famous was here from how they were going on." His eyes are wide as he looks around us at the crowd. "It's so random. Did they just get up and go 'today we're going to host a beach party.'" We look at Percy amused by his outburst. "Well yeah, probably Percy." I snort out.

"Well, that was amazing," Isabella shouts as we walk down the boardwalk. The time has flown past and it's almost midnight. "I can't take it anymore. I want to go to bed." Percy whines as he drags his feet behind us. "No going to bed tonight. We said we're having an all-nighter." Percy lets out a groan as he follows us. "I don't think anything is open anymore," Grayson states looking at his phone. "Well, there might be one place..." Isabella says a cheeky grin on her face. I watch her closely. "What?" I ask curiously. "Garden of Eden..." She starts. "Nope. No. I don't think so last we were there I accidentally walked in on those poor guys after just trying to find the bathroom." I shake my head. "You what!" Percy almost screams. "It was an accident. I was looking for the bathroom. Isabella and I were there because it was free drinks for ladies night." His eyes grow wide. "How did I not know this?" I look at Isabella "Well I kind of forgot about it up until now."

"Okay so are we going or not?" Isabella asks motioning in the direction of the club. "Let's go," I say walking in front of her towards the place. Isabella quickly matches her pace to mine as we walk up the street. "So like did you see anything or did you just walk past their dressing room?" Percy asks as he jogs up to me. "Well, I saw them in all their glory if that's what you're referring to." I snort as Percy's eyes grow wide. "I'm kidding Percy, calm down. I was in and out so fast it was kind of a blur." He lets out a breath. "Oh okay. Cool." I raise a brow "Why do you ask?" I ask him curiously. His hand instantly grabs the back of his neck "Oh, no reason was just wondering..." I slowly nod. "Well okay then." A grin plays on my face.

We enter the building. The music isn't as loud as it was the last time we were here. We walk in to find the curtain drawn to the side and bright lights fill the inside of the building. No conversations can be heard from the hall. I walk inside the club. The group of guys are all sitting at the bar. No other people are here.

"Hey, are you guys closed?" I ask as we make our way to the bar. They all turn to watch us. "Yeah things were pretty slow tonight so we decided to close early." One guy answers. "My bad. Let's go guys." I turn on my heel. "Well, you guys are welcome to stay for a drink before we close." Another one replies. "No it's okay, we were just looking for a place to chill. We are trying to pull an all-nighter." I start walking back. "That's no problem. We're all going to the beach now. We heard there was a party if you guys want to join us."

I shake my head "We just came back from the beach so that's okay, thanks though." I reply. "No problem. Aren't you the girl that turned into our dressing room?" I feel a blush creep onto my cheeks "Yes, unfortunately, I am." They start laughing "I'm sorry I'm not trying to be mean, but your face was priceless that day that's why I was asking." I let out a nervous giggle "It was pretty embarrassing." Percy clears his throat "Right sorry we should probably go." I wave goodbye as we exit the club.

"Well, that was a waste of time." Isabella sighs. I nod in agreement "You can say that again." Percy scoffs. "So what are we going to do now?" I shrug my shoulders "Maybe we should just give up and call it a night." I suggest looking at Percy. "Well, I'm down for that," Grayson replies, raising his hand. "I guess we can just go home," Isabella says her lips turning into a frown. "Alright then. We'll see you later."

I look into the mirror and see the bags under my eyes. 4 hours of sleep do not look good on me. I rub my face with my hands as I exit the bathroom. I grab the Great Gatsby off of the table next to the bed and walk over to Percy. "Just tell Isabella I'll be there in an hour or so I just want to finish this book." He smiles "Sure see you later."

He walks out of the suite as I make myself comfortable on the bed as I finally start the last 50 pages of the book.

Percy P.O.V:

"Staying up last night was such a bad idea," I say falling onto the sand where Isabella and Grayson are seated. "You're telling me," Grayson says yawning as he stretches out his arms into the sky. "Oh, you guys should stop complaining it was fun "Where is Natalie?" Isabella asks. "She's just finishing her book then she'll be here." Isabella nods "She could've read it here." Isabella says laughing. "No, she would've been too distracted. Trust me when she reads it's like she disappears into a different world. She doesn't hear anything or talk. I don't think I've ever seen her blink while reading." I laugh at the memory of her reading her favourite book.

Isabella laughs "Okay never mind then. So Percy are you ready to leave yet?" Grayson asks. I shake my head "I don't want to. It feels like all the best times of my life are coming to an end and now it's time to enter the real world again." Grayson nods his head slowly. "Yeah, I know how you feel. It just sucks."

"Don't get so depressed this early in the afternoon. There's so much more we can do today instead of sitting and sulking about it all coming to an end." Isabella preaches. "We weren't getting depressed we were just thinking of the good old times," I explain to Isabella.

She gives me a blank stare. "You suck at lying. It's a miracle that Natalie hasn't figured out that you like her cause she's basically in love with you. She just thinks you're acting weird." My eyes grow wide. "What?" Isabella starts to stutter. "Come on you had to see that coming man." Grayson looks at me with an expressionless face. "No, you're lying, Isabella." I scoff. "Fine. Suit yourself. Hopefully one day you'll stop being an idiot." She says standing up and walking towards the hotel.

Well, that went well. I think to myself as I fall onto my back, closing my eyes. What am I going to tell Natalie? She's going to hate me when we get back home...
