Kirt’s POV:
I was really pissed off at Tucker from his love to Ben. Until I heard a gun shot and a scream which made the school frightened to die. “BEN MILLER. I’M GOING TO LOOK FOR YOU. YOU’RE DEAD MEAT NOW! IF YOU DON’T F*CKING COME DOWN AT ONCE, I’M GONNA KILL EVERYONE AT SCHOOL.”. Who was he? How did he know Ben? What was going on? Then the principle made a warning speech of school lockdown. This would be the fate. I quickly went to Ben really shocked, frozen like a statue, but his body was shaking, I picked him up and we hid in the corner while the class was making blocks so that the intruder wouldn’t budge the door. We turned on the lights and we all approached in the corner. We could hear gun shots around the floors, and screaming like a psychopath. We all just sat there, praying for our lives, picking the phone and texting our parents. Then out of a sudden, Ben stood up, making a way to exit. “Ben, what are you doing?”, I asked. No response. He was like deaf. Then I ran to him to stop him. “Ben, what do you think you’re doing? You’ll die if you go outside.”, I yelled at him. Ben turned to me with a fake smile. “Kirt, I had once lived in a negative environment, and I dealt with it. So I’ll deal with my step-brother, like how I did with Chris.”, he said softly. But I didn’t care of what he said, so he pushed me off and slammed the door, leaving us in the classroom.
Ben’s POV:
‘Sorry, Kirt. I know you don’t want to lose me, but this is the only option. I have to stop my step-brother at any cost. I love you.’
I thought for a while, then I went downstairs, slowly to get all my guts to face my second enemy, who took revenge for my first enemy. Then I saw a dark figure, holding a pistol and a knife. I breathed heavily and asked: “Who are you? What do you want from me?”, I knew that was him but I let him answer as he turned around to face me. “Ben, long time no see, still living peacefully alone, right? I guess you didn’t remember your step-brother.”, Hector said giving me a scary smirk that made the world crash. “How dare you and your family KILLED my DAD?”. “What? I never killed him. And besides, if I truly killed him, I would have been in prison for a long time. And you don’t know what he made our lives like that in the past? If you were me, then you’d have been experiencing the same.”, I yelled. But he didn’t care, he took a pistol and pointed at me. “You’re mistaken, Ben. YOU KILLED MY DAD. I’LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THIS.”. “Do it, Hector. You’ll be regreted. And besides, I’m not alone.”. Then the class ran downstairs to protect me. “Oh, you all came here to take your souls away. How nice of you. Sadly, your friend won’t live for long. But whom should I kill first? This pathetic teacher? No, this young lady? Or your best friend? Yes, he will.”, he said evilly as he put his gun on Kirt. “NO. DON’T YOU DARE.”, I yelled. Finally, the police came to rescue, they grabbed Hector. “You’re under arrest for attacking the school. Come with us.”, the 1st policeman, said. As he was about to, he grabbed the gun and pulled the trigger, and I took the shot. It was in my stomach. I was groaning in pain and the second bullet went slide in my left arm. But as soon as he pulled another trigger, the police shot Hector on the chest, he slowly fell to the ground and closed his eyes, while I slowly fell but Kirt grabbed me. Then, my vision went blurry and went black.
Quinn’s POV:
I was shocked to see Ben had to take the trigger in order to protect us, we were crying to see him in pain. I quickly grabbed my phone and called the ambulance for rescue. 5 minutes later, it arrived and they took Ben to the bed and went to the hospital, Kirt and Tucker also went with him. Then Mrs. Flora called us to return to the classroom, and to tell them, the culprit had gone. Who was he? Why did he know Ben? Why did he kill him? My mind went off as I continued studying with a frightened look. Then the bell rang for recess, the class gathered around to take Ben’s, Kirt’s and Tucker’s stuff and placed them on Ben’s seat area. We were really shocked to see Ben had to live like that, so we decided to see them in the hospital.
