Meredy Pov

"Omg, it you again." Lucy started.

"Stop it alright? Just stop." I slammed the door of my locker. "It's pathetic watching you trying to hard to recover your reputation after the newspaper incident. We are already in our last year, why don't you just grow up already? Instead of walking around this place like it is a runway? We are at school for one main purpose. To study. Why spend you remaining days just to impress others? Why don't you do yourself a favour and use that time to focus on the exams?" Without waiting for any reaction I stormed off.

"Sweet." Gray whistled as he caught up with me.

"Right? That felt good." I smiled back.

"I think they will stay off your case from now on."

"That's what I'm hoping for."

Gray Pov

We sat side by side, hand in hand.

"Are you still cutting yourself?" She asked while I circled my finger on the top of her hand. She was referring to that one time I did after the news of Meredy. Of course I didn't let Meredy know, she already has so much to deal with.

"Not at all." I wasn't lying.

"That's good to hear."

We nodded, both staring at the night sky in front of us.

"How is Meredy holding up?" She asked.

"She's getting better. She moved to live with us."

She nodded "What about Wendy?"

"She is enjoying school. From what I gather she made many new friends."

The cool wind blew gently in the stiff summer air.

"What about you?"

"Me?" I paused, turned to look at her "I've never been better."

I leaned in closer and pressed our lips together.

Slowly, I pulled away.

"Juvia?"

"Hmmm~"

"Promise me you won't leave me again." I let go of her hand and got up kneeling.

"Gray, what are you doing?" She jumled up.

I pulled the small box out of my pocket. Juvia had her hands, covwring her mouth.

"Juvia Lockser. No. Rain. I may not be the best guy to protect you or give you a good life. But I can't live without you."

I can hear her sniffing.

"So, Rain. Will you marry me?" I opened the box to reveal a small, simple sliver ring.

She was crying. Tears poured out of her eyes, but even behind her hands. I could see she was smiling. She was nodding frantically.

"Yes." She whispered at first. "Yes. YEs. YES!"

I got up and took her right hand. Gently, I slipped the ring onto her finger.

"Gray!!!" She cried out and I pulled her into a hug, carried her up and spun her around.

Wendy Pov

"Are you ready Onee-chan?" I stood and watched her, watch herself in the mirror.

"I guess so."

"You KNOW so." Meredy giggled.

"Alright it's time." The lady called. I stepped out of the dressing room. And slowly walk my way to the doors.

Walking to a brand new life with an old time love.

As I walked in everyone cheered. But I was only focused on one thing.

We been through so much.

My love.

My past.

My present.

My future.

My Gray.
