Rain Pov

"You will be able to be discharge by today." The doctor reported.

"Thank you." Gray said as the doctor was about to leave.

"Hey, doc, do you think I could borrow your nurse for a while?"

The doctor turned to look at him and me "Who? Rain?"

"Yeah. Is she needed?"

He flipped through the papers on his clipboard "I don't see why not. Go ahead." He said and left.

Wendy was asleep on the next bed, Meredy was sitting up on her bed and Gray was sitting next to her.

"So, do you need anything?" I asked as a nurse would.

"Take a seat, Juvia." Gray gestured to the empty chair on the other side. It's been a while since I heard that name.

I walked over and took the seat.

"How have you been?" Gray started.

"Fine."

"Could you please explain...?" Meredy trued to put it into words but failed.

"Well, after what happen. I was reborn as who you see right now."

"But I thought you would have all memories erased?"

"So did I. I have no idea why I still have them." I shrugged.

They seemed to be deep in thought.

"So the reason why you are a nurse is....." Meredy started.

"Is because she went through a lot in her previous life and........" Gray added.

"I want to help heal people." I completed for them.

We exchanged looks and brust out laughing.

"We miss you, Juvia." Gray reached over to hold my hand.

"I miss you too, Gray-sama." I gave his hand a little squeeze.

We heard a little sob and all turned to see Wendy standing there.

Her tears were staining her cheeks but she had on a smile.

"So it is true. I wasn't dreaming. I knew it!!!" She exclaimed in an excited whisper. "JUVIA-SANNNNN!!!" She screamed and ran up to give me the tightest hug ever.

"Nice to see you again, Wendy." I wrapped my arms around her and brought her up to sit in my lap.

After the giggling died down I realised something.

"How did all of you know?"

All of them shrugged and answered at the same time.

"I guess we could just tell." Meredy.

"You're my sister. Of course I'll know."

"I will always know its you no matter what." Gray.

I laughed as they all finished.

"So, you don't mind that I'm not what I use to look like?"

"Of course not." They said in unison.

We spent the rest of the afternoon catching up.

"So what are you going to do now?" Gray asked as Meredy went to change, bringing Wendy along.

"What do you mean?" I said as I changed the covers of the bed.

"Are you going to stay here?"

I stopped what I was doing but didn't look up "I can't leave. I was reborn here for a reason. It's fate. And I'm not going to leave it."

He nods "I understand. But we can still be friends right?"

I looked up and flashed him a smile "The best."

"Thanks." He mumbled with a grin.

"Alright. I'm ready to go." She walked iver to me and hugged me "I miss you, girlfriend."

"Thanks." She released me. "I like what you did with Kucy and her gang." I giggled.

"Will you come and visit us often?" Wendy jumped into my laps.

"Of course, sweet pea. Then you can tell me all about yourself."

"Yay!!"

Just then a doctor came in. "Rain, may I have a word with you."

I went out and listened to what the doctor had to say.

I was shocked.

Devastated. I didn't know how to break the news.

I went back into the room with a heavy heart.

"Juvia what's wrong?" They sensed it right away.

I stared at Meredy with my tear filled eyes.

"Your parents were........in accident." I struggled to breathe. Meredy was pale. Her bag dropped. "They didn't make it."

The tears poured out of both our eyes. She collapsed onto the ground. Gray, Wendy and I rushed to her.

She was so shocked she barely said anything.

"I'm sorry." I sobbed as I pulled her into a hug.

A/N Woah. Drama!!! Even I didn't see that ine coming. Tbh idk how many more chap there will be. I usually write about 10-11 chap but I think this is going to need a few more. XP
