Wendy Pov

I skipped home. Today was one of the best day ever. I met people who understands me and I already made a new friend. The teachers were super nice too. They weree patient and never scolded.

I opened the door. I should be the first one back Meredy and Gray have an hour left in school.

I skipped into the living and dropped my bag on the couch and skipped into the kitchen. I made myself a snadwhich and went back to the couch. I on the television and switched to my favourite channel.

"Oh, Wendy you're back." I turned around, nearly choking on my food.

"Gray?! What are you doing back so early?"

He joined me on the couch.

"Meredy isn't feeling very well so, I brought her home."

I stopped eating "What's wrong with Meredy?"

Gray rubbed his face as if he haven't slept in a few days "She is having a high fever and she fainted."

"She fainted?!" I was shocked, Meredy was the strongest among us. "Can I see her?"

He nodded "Shes not awake yet though."

I followed him up the stairs to Juvia's old bedroom. Meredy always use this room when she stay over.

Meredy was lying on the bed, she was pale, very pale. She had an ice pack lying on the top of her forehead.

She looked weak. I've never seen her look weak before.

"Is she going to be okay?"

He slapped a smile on his face "She'll be fine." I stared at him for a while. He looked as if her has something else on his mind.

I went back down and stared at the television, the programme was on but I wasn't paying attention.

Gray Pov

I took the book out after Wendy went out.

I was reading it halfway when I heard Wendy come home. I continued where I stopped off.

Juvia's diary.

Meredy Pov

My eyes fluttered open slowly. I see Gray at end of the bed. He was reading something. I squinted to see the cover.

"Gray?" My voice came out hoarse.

He looked up and put the book away. He came to sit by my side.

"Hey, how are you?" He removed the ice pack and went to fetch the thermometer.

He came back and I opened my mouth.

He took it out after the beep.

"You still have a fever but it has dropped." He said as he studied the temperature.

"How are you feeling?" He passed me a glass of water.

I shrugged "I don't know." I groan as I sat up and took the glass.

"Gray."

"Hmmmm...?"

"Was that Juvia's diary?" I looked over to where he was reading it just now.

He looked over too.

"I'm sorry. I should have just told you what you wanted know."

"No it's fine. I'm just gald I got to know the truth. And it was kinda easier to learn it by myself."

He chuckled and so did I.

"So, you learnt about everything you wanted to?"

"Well, I'm only halfway through."

There was a silence pause.

"How's Wendy?"

"I'll call her up." I nodded as he went out of the room.

I laughed as I hear his voice shouting "Hey Wendy!"

"Yeah?" Her vooce shouted back.

"Come up."

I laughed as he came back in.

Wendy popped in soon.

"Meredy!!!" She jumped on to the bed.

"Hey, girl." I hugged her.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worridly.

"I'm fine."

"Wendy, how was your first day of school?" Gray ask.

She excitedly told us about her day. I was gald that she seem to like her school.

"Okay Wendy, Meredy needs her rest." Gray said after she was done.

"I know!" Wendy jumped. "Let's sleep together tonight. So that Meredy won't be lonely."

Gray looked over to me.

"Why not?" I shrugged.

"If you're fine with it."

"YAYY!" Wendy cheered.

"Okay, let's go get the blankets and pillows." Gray lead Wendy out.

Hey came back soon, showered and with all their things they need for the night.

"It's getting late, we should go to sleep."

"Good night." Wendy said.

"Call us if you need anything." Gray told me.

"Yeah sure."

Gray Pov

"Meredy. Meredy." I panicked.

"Gray." She grabbed me. Her palms were clammy. She was panting. I touched her forehead.

"You're burning up. We need to get you to a hospital." She nodded.

"Gray?" Wendy was awaken.

"Wendy, wake up we need your help." When Wendy saw Meredy she immediately jumped up to her feet.

"What's wrong?" Wendy looked like she is on the verge of crying.

"Wendy, I need you to stay here with Meredy. Can you do that?" She nodded and took over my space. I ran down and called for a cab.

We wrapped a blanket around Meredy and helped her into the cab.

"To the nearest hospital please." I tell the cab driver.
