Gray Pov

"Wendy, are you okay?" I looked over to the little blue head and realised that she was pale and was nervously bitting on her lower lip.

Her eyes were glossed with a layer of tears.

With one hand still holding on to Meredy, I pulled Wendy closer with my other.

"Are you thinking about her?" I asked. She buried her head into my chest and nodded. Her shoulders were shaking and her tears wet my shirt.

"You alright back there?" The driver called out.

"Yeah. I guess."

"How is the little girl?"

I looked at Wendy.

"She's fine. Just the last time she visited the hospital. ....." I trailed off.

"Wasn't pretty, huh?"

"Yeah."

"What about the other?"

"She is running a high fever."

"Well, then. You'll be glad to hear that the hospital is just right up front."

I looked out the window and there it stood. Big and white, just like I remeber it.

"Well, here we are."

I let go of Wendy and was pulling out my wallet "How much is it?"

"Free of charge. Now go, your friend need you."

"Thank you, sir!" I exclaimed.

Wendy got out and came over to help me help Meredy.

The driver smiled and gave me a little nod before driving off.

I hurried Meredy into the hospital.

"Help! Please help! She needs immediate attention!" I shouted.

Some patient and vistors stopped and stared. Nurses, however, ran towards us and took Meredy.

"She has a high fever and she fainted earlier today." I told one of the nurses, she nodded.

Another came up to me calmly "Could you......" Someone gripped my wrist. I looked down. It was Wendy. She wasn't crying anymore but her eyes were filled with emotions and unmoving. Her fingernails were digging in her nails.

I went down to my knees. I didn't say anything, just warped my arm around her and pull her close to me.

I carried her up. She leaned in close and buried her head in my shoulder blade.

"I'm sorry but is she alright?" The nurse tapped my shoulder and asked.

"I belive she has a fear of the hospital."

"Why is that?"

"Something horrible happened here before."

The nurse nodded.

"I may be able to help you with that but first I need you to fill in some forms."

"Erm...sure." She led me to the front desk and I filled the forms.

"And now for this..." she palced everything aside and came out from behind the desk.

"Come let her down."

I nodded and slowly lowered Wendy to the floor.

"Hi there, my name is Rain. Nice to meet you."

Rain. Why does that seem so familiar?

Wendy mumbled something barely audible.

"Come on you will have to speak up a little for me, sweetie."

"Hi, I'm Wendy. Nice to meet you too."

"So, Wendy. Would you like to go to somewhere fun?" Wendy turned to look at me. I smiled and nodded.

"Ok."

"Let's go." Rain stood up and held out hand for Wendy.

"You coming?" Rain looked at me.

Wendy held out her another hand and I took it.

Together she led us to the children's department, talking the way there. The more she talked the more I saw Wendy smiling and opening up. It was as if Rain had a power.

"Here we are!" Rain cheered.

"Wow!!!" Wendy exclaimed and ran to the play area. Rain and I stood at the door and watched her with a smile on our faces.

"How are you, Gray-sama?" It was her voice.

I looked over from where the voice came from. I stared at Rain. She still had her eyes on Wendy.

"H...how do you know my name?"

"You wrote them serval time on the forms, silly."

"Oh." I felt stupid. It can't be. It's impossible.

She talked again after a brief moment "So, what happened here that was so horrible it made her fear hospitals?"

I stared at Rain for a while then I turned back to look at Wendy with a smirk on my face "You left."

She smiled "What ever do you mean? I'm still here aren't I?"

"So it would seem."

Wendy shouted "Gray, Rain came play with me!!"

"Be right there." Rain replied her.

"Do you think she knows?"

Rain just shrugged "Know about what?" With that she walked off, with me following behind.
