Hinata's P.O.V
-Some Time Before Competition-

It was just a normal day in my new, crazy life as I walked the halls of my school silently.

Naruto was nowhere in sight, thanks to his intense hunger again so, I had a little time to clear my head. I had time to soak up the moment without him. Because sometimes...

He can be a real pain...

A mood killer even..

I sighed, moving one hand up to rub my forehead, my midnight blue hair falling.

How did my life ever get like this...

I bit my lip but a tap to my shoulder broke me away from my thoughts and I looked up quickly, my eyes widening massively.

Oh no..

But I calmed down completely when my eyes caught sight of lavender colored hair, a smile spreading across my lips at the sight of the new young woman, yet again.

"Hi, Konan." I greeted her sweetly which made her smile widen as well, she nudging me with her elbow.

She hummed. "Hey you.. How's your day been so far?" She asked as we continued to walk through the busy hall, my friends off to their own classes.

At her question, I lowered my head, shrugging. "Um... It's going okay. Let's just say I'm, hanging in there." I spoke with a nervous giggle which caused Kohan to frown.

She looked around the empty hall but then grabbed my hand, halting my pace.

I gasped by that, my feet coming to a stop. "K-Konan?" I whispered out in confusion but she shook her head, smiling at me.

"Here.. Let's go somewhere else and talk. I'll buy you a snack." She offered kindly. But all I could think about was Naruto's awful warning..

"Stay, away, from her."

"If anyone gets hurt.. The blood's, on your hands, Hinata. I will show no sympathy to anyone else.. Only you. Got that?"

He was quite clear with his words and even though I decided I wasn't going to follow his order, I don't want anyone hurt.

I just can't bear it.

Looking at Konan now, she looks so peaceful and sure of life. I don't want her to suffer from my burden.

So.. I bit my lip, moving my hand out of her hold slowly, my eyes peeking at her. But when I saw the look she gave, my heart stopped.

It seemed like she knew, I was going to do that. I gulped at that..

Who is, this woman?

Why does it seem like she's.. everywhere, I, am..

I shook my head.. "I-I can't.. go with you. I have to go to class." I whispered out, desperate to get away from her. I didn't want Naruto to see me with her.

And oddly enough, she seems like she knew that. Her smile never dropped, her eyes never showed off any negative emotions.

She only.. smiled.

She instead, raised her hand up and patted my shoulder reassuringly. "It's okay, Hinata. I just want to get to know you more. That's all. There's no harm in that right?" She responded back soothingly, getting into my head which actually made me, reconsider.

I sighed, thinking deeply about the situation.

Konan hasn't brought any, harm to me.

She's been so nice...

Maybe I should... Just this once.

For her sake...

So my answer changed. I allowed myself to smile, my head nodding. "Okay..."

Laughs of amusement filled up the world outside as we both, me and Konan, sat at a lone bench in front of the school.

We both had bags of chips that we ate from, thanks to Konan, my heart lifted from the brilliant stories she told.

I bit down on my smile. "So.. What happened? Did you bring it down?" I asked amusingly which earned me a grin from her, a confident look present in her eyes.

She placed her hands on her hips and puffed up her chest, a giggle spilling from my lips at that. "Of course I did. Took that alligator beast down with my bare hands. I mean.. someone had to. Even if, it was a girl." She commented with a laugh which made me giggle once more, my smile big, and bright.

Konan's really, not that bad..

I smiled, thinking back to all the adventurous stories she's told. "Wow.. Your life has been so hectic. Don't you get tired of it all?" I asked softly, looking up at her in a more serious way.

Her smile wavered a bit, a hum of thought spilling from her well sculpted lips. Her lavender hair was set up into a high bun, some of it creeping down onto her face.

Today, she wore a long white dress with a grey jacket over it, high heels on her feet to match.

She looked so womanly. But, I couldn't talk. Of course, Naruto picked out my clothes and every time, it's something so...

Explicit..

Not, my age...

And I hate it..

But I shook off my thoughts and instead refocused, looking up at Konan as she began to speak. She tilted her head. "Well.. No.. You see, when a constant thing happens in your life.. You as a human being eventually adapt to it. That thing, event, whatever, becomes your way of living. And that so happens to be the case for me. Just like cheerleading, for you." She explained with a big smile, nodding encouragingly at me which really, inspired me..

I took in her words, thinking deeply on them. And I came to a conclusion with myself...

Naruto, isn't constant..

He's just barged into my life..

Which means...

He won't stay... I just know it.

I smiled at that, looking up at her in relief in my orbs. "Thank you, Konan. You're so wise." I complimented sweetly which made her smile brightly, her eyes lightening up.

She nodded at me, receiving my compliment. "Thank you, Hinata." She whispered which was music to my ears.

The next few minutes we just took the time and got to know one another, not knowing the red glowing eyes that watched us, from behind..

Konan's P.O.V

It's time..

It's finally, time...

The ultimate moment I've been waiting for, is now available..

High up in the cheer building I stood tall, placing my ammo into my gun, making sure I was fully loaded.

Itachi, stood off as well, doing the same to his own gun. Hidan was elsewhere which was all according to plan.

We both, me and Itachi stood in a small room, a room that could get us down to the stands in no time.

That'll help plenty.

I turned and quickly shot a look, out of the glass mirror that was there in front of me, my eyes closely watching Hinata perform. I nodded.

Good.. She's distracted.

We can hurry and accomplish this, so we can put it all behind us.

Itachi sighed, cocking his gun. He then turned to me from where he stood, his lips set in a thin line.

He pursued his lips. "You really think, this is gonna work? You know if we don't successfully kill him.. Lives are gonna be at stake. I thought you didn't want that." He spoke with one eyebrow raised, clearly doubting my plan..

But I know, this will work.

Naruto, the demon, is distracted. And besides, he doesn't know we're out to get him.

It's the perfect chance.

So with that thought in mind, I turned to Itachi with serious glowing eyes, my hand holding on tightly to my powerful weapon. "Yes.. I'm certain. And if things go wrong we'll just.. seal him away again instead of killing him. We just need him off of this planet, away from all humans." I declared seriously which reached Itachi's ears perfectly.

He nodded at that, pulling on our demon hunter's signature coat, covering his dark clothes underneath.

He then looked up at me through long black hair, a confident smirk present on his face now. "Alright then. Let's go kick some demon ass..."

The crowd roared loudly as I quickly made my way onto the stands, making sure my weapons were conceived in my coat.

The cool wind whipped through me as I walked past many people, my ears picking up the distant cheering of the cheerleader's in the background. As I kept walking, I made sure to go in a line upward.

I plan to sneak up on him..

Once I manage to do that, I'll shoot the brakes off of Naruto. Three shots to the head from this type of gun should work for an immortal demon..

So that's how many I'll shoot tonight..

I clutched my coat, my gun resting on the inside of it.

And I won't, miss..

My amber colored eyes were narrowed in complete seriousness, my head turning to see Itachi already in position.

He was sitting in a random spot in the crowd, three stands from Naruto who was viciously eating away at two bags of popcorn, his eyes glowing their natural red.

I gritted my teeth in disgust at the sight of his savage behavior, passing people with a small 'excuse me'.

My path was almost finished as I stepped quietly on the last step, slowly and steadily making my way to the hungry demon who sat on the stand below me, a little further down.

And in that moment, I pulled my gun from underneath me, now holding it by my side.

The gun was shaped as a silencer but just with large bullets on the inside. The special bullets are carved with our special symbol and weighed the same as a laptop did.

Which means the bullets are only meant for a demon's massive body. If humans are hit with these, kinds of bullets.. I sighed, keeping my slow pace.

Their body will completely explode.

So I need to be careful and be precise on my shots and then get the hell out of here.

Because once I do this...

There's no, turning back.

Slowly, I shimmied myself behind Naruto, finally getting to my position where his head was fully facing me.

Right now he was distracted by his hunger, and the cheerleaders shouting to even hear my arrival behind him.. I clenched my gun, staring down at him in hate.

This, is fucking it.

You're done here, demon..

My hand rose without hesitation, putting the gun right behind his head, just centimeters away from his noggin.

His body was bent forward a little as he scrambled through the popcorn frantically, eating every crumb to desperately try to calm down his hunger. I gritted my teeth.

But I'll, make sure he won't finish those bags.

I clenched my jaw and then placed my finger on the trigger, soon puffing my chest.

Well, here goes.

All my surroundings were cut off from my brain. I was only focused on my target in front of me.

So when I pulled the trigger, I had no idea what the damage, I just caused.

My finger pulled back the trigger to my gun, producing loud bangs to erupt which shocked everyone.

Eyes from different people stared back at me in horror, but I ignored them. The cheerleaders were all scrambling in a fright now, trying desperately to flee the scene.

The bullets from my gun shot right through Naruto's skull causing him to freeze up and fall over with a loud thud, his body falling completely limp. I blew out a deep breath, relief settling in.

Oh thank god that went okay..

Many people stared at me like I was crazy now but..

The job was done.

I smiled at that and was just about to put my gun away until I caught a slight movement in the corner of my eye, my body halting in its actions.

What the hell?

It happened so fast, so quick, but I caught it. If I were a mere human, I wouldn't have seen it at all.. But...

Naruto.. moved...

I looked back down at him to see him in the same position as before, his body lying limply to the side on the silver stands, blood of his kind slowly spilling from his head and down into the cracks of the seats.

I gulped at that, taking a step further. I took the risk and moved my foot over, using it to kick at his body.

I nudged him three times, watching as his heavy body swayed. And I also, whistled.

Loudly...

Demons have sensitive ears and if I do that, make a sound so loud so close... That'll trigger him to move again if he's possibly alive.

But as I did that, I noticed he didn't move.. He didn't even twitch. He didn't do, anything. I bit my lip, grabbing my gun again..

It shouldn't hurt to shoot another time to be sure.

So I pulled out my gun fully this time, creating some scares here and there but then, I jumped onto his stand, now hovering over him.

My legs were on both sides of his waist as I aimed my gun down. But when I did, my eyes caught something which was very, very..

Unsettling..

The bullet holes that previously pierced his head were now gone, his skin patched up like it never happened. My eyes widened at that.

Oh..

Fuck..

Just when I noticed that, my eyes suddenly met with angry red ones, the demon before me now healed and...

Alive..

He shot me a smirk, despite the strong, negative emotion that he let off.

He snickered. "Gotcha." He whispered and suddenly whipped up and produced a mind blowing kick to my chest, my ears successfully picking up the sound of cracks, which my body let off from the impact.

I screamed in agony but was silenced when a sudden orange tail grabbed my ankle and threw me towards the crowd, red eyes following me as I tumbled away in hurt.

My body has never felt so numbed before, a whimper passing my lips every time my body fell down on the harsh steel of the stands.

People started to run crazy now at the sight of me falling towards them, the place filled completely with screams.

Naruto smirked and began to jump towards me, nine tails wavering rapidly behind him. His speed was quick and unimaginable, living up to his Uzumaki name.

I gritted my teeth as I spotted him approaching, my hand reaching out to grab onto the steel bar in front of me, halting myself.

I coughed blood once I stopped, my other hand clutching my chest tightly. I whimpered, keeping my body completely still..

Fuck.. He's completely shattered my ribs..

I can't move, at all..

I've really underestimated the power of this demon. I did not know he's gotten this strong.

Strong enough to withstand his kinds, weapons..

How is that possible? That doesn't make any sense...

Unless..

I gasped, looking towards Hinata who was now in the hands of her friends, her face contorted in worry and fear. I groaned, coughing out more blood..

Shit... I messed up.

I messed up big time...

I then looked up but gasped once I saw the demon now above me, just standing there taking in my appearance, his body fueling off of my pain.

The blonde haired bastard grinned, his body bending down towards me. And with lightning speed, he had my throat in his one large hand, tightening it immediately.

I whimpered, removing my hand from my chest to grab onto his, my fingers trying their hardest to pry it away.

But I knew it was no use.

He smirked deviously, looking down upon me. "Heh.. I must admit.. You took me by surprise, darling. I knew something was off about you but not that you were, a demon hunter. A demon hunter from the same clan as those long ago. The same ones who killed and sealed away my entire family.." He sneered, his voice laced with nothing but venom and vengeance.

But I only smirked at him, moving my hand from his to defend myself, reaching back into my coat of weapons.

I grinned. "Y-Yep. You took me, by surprise also. With you and your fucking games." I snarled out weakly, referring to the incident that just, played out...

With him playing dead..

Naruto guffawed loudly at my words and tightened his hold on me, my oxygen quickly running out.

I gasped but grabbed onto my knife from my coat pocket, keeping my eyes rooted up at him.

He gave me a sinister smirk, his eyes shining bright with its mysterious glow. "What a foolish human you are. You were doomed from the start. All the waiting has only helped me, you incompetent bitch!" He spat but then lowered himself down to my ear, grinning while he was there.

His eyes were no longer held on me but were now on the human girl on the field, her eyes staring back at us in horror.

He chuckled amusingly. "Why did you think I've been staying underneath the human girl, hmm.. What? You thought I only wanted her just because she was delicious? Mmm, or.. because she was fun to play with in bed, huh? No-"

But I interrupted him with a growl, gripping my knife tighter. "You've been feeding from her, you sick sadistic bastard!" I shouted out, remembering back to what Sasori said in the meeting...

Fuck... He was right all along....

I'm such an idiot..

But that won't stop me from using the strength I have left to win this fight.

So, with all of my strength, I launched forward and stabbed him right in the chest, then using the same hand to push it deeper.

He yelled out in pain but moved his tails forward, shifting one into a fine point. He growled angrily, his red eyes narrowed in a blood rage. "I've been waiting to do this for a very long time. Say goodbye, woman!" He yelled but before he managed to do it, to finish the job, he was hit with two nasty blows from similar guns I had, his body collapsing with a thud, a groan of pain spilling from his lips.

He was now tumbling, just like I was, many people fleeing..

Even Hinata.

I smiled at that, using my hand to pull myself up. I groaned, rubbing my chest softly...

Shit.. It's up to Itachi and Hidan now..

I can't... go on...

Naruto's P.O.V

My body rolled like a fucking tumble weed as I fell from my previous spot and down the numerous steel platforms, hitting them with the same amount of force each time. I cursed...

This, is fucking unbelievable...

I never thought for a second that demon hunters were lurking around, behind my back. I paused.

Well.. At some point, maybe I did..

It was a little too peaceful anyway. I had so much fun with Hinata but.. A powerful demon was born to fight.

And I sure love, a good fight.

I smirked and with that new excitement, I grabbed onto a steel platform and stopped myself, pulling my body up with ease.

But I gritted my teeth when I spotted two more people in red cloudy coats jumping from platform to platform in my direction, my body twitching in excitement.

But first..

I'll get to you two in a minute..

I whipped my attention on Hinata, quickly trying to pinpoint where she was. But I cursed when I saw her running away, completely leaving me in the dust.. I glared at that, quickly vanishing away.

Oh no you don't.

Quickly through the cloudy dark night, I vanished in front of her, watching as she immediately halted.

Her friends gasped in horror at the sight of me, their eyes moving down towards the large knife that was buried in my chest.

They screamed.

But I chuckled, my hand moving down to quickly remove the play toy. "Oh how rude of me. Sorry, girls." I spat and threw down the bloody knife, soon fixating my eyes on the midnight blue haired girl on the end, her pink haired friend shielding her with...

An arm..

I snickered..

Now isn't that cute..

I would, cut it off just for fun but.. I have more business to attend to.

Which is far, more important..

I glared upon Hinata, betrayal written all over my face. "You, are coming with me." I snarled and with that, I guided my tails forward for her.

Not without taking her friend by that same arm, and throwing her elsewhere....

Who cares where...

Hinata let a shriek at my actions but gasped once my tail managed to grab onto her, completely taking her off of her feet.

I clutched my tail tightly around her frail body, making sure she was in no position to wiggle free.

She whimpered, staring down at me pleadingly. "Naruto please.. Don't do this. Please." She sobbed out while I stared straight ahead, right at the demon hunters that were quickly making their way over.

I ignored Hinata's pleads but only looked at her to say one, thing.

I glared, tightening my tail on her for punishment making her cry out in pain. "You... betrayed me, Hinata. So therefore... you'll pay for all of this in the end. But for now, I expect nothing, to come out of your mouth. If you make so much as a peep, I'll slaughter everyone you ever love right before your eyes, little one." I snarled out quite deadly, my eyes a blood red.

I was no longer playing nice. My demon nature was now completely exposed and I, was angry..

Mmm... What a beautiful night it is.

Hinata cried within my grasp but I ignored that as well, soon working my feet to propel my body forward, plunging myself back into the action, Hinata's friends quickly running away from the scene.

With my tails, thanks to good old Kurama, I used them to swing at the two men, watching as they jumped and dodged out the way, my other tail holding Hinata high up in the air, causing them a bit of a distraction.

The black haired one cursed but pulled out something else from his coat, my eyes spotting a sword..

A very crafty one at that.

Quickly, to throw him off, I pulled my hand up and delivered a hot rush of fire his way, using the place I call home as back up.

I grinned.

Heh.. Get it?

With my speed and my super high agility, I jumped up, keeping my fire constant.

And I grinned to see both men run away like rats, Hinata far away from the heat to even feel it.

Her mouth was closed like I ordered, only whimpers coming from her.

Which I let slide..

After all, my patience has run very thin.

So I stopped the fire and instead worked my way back onto the ground, getting out of the air.

Once I regained my position again, we all were back to square one, a malicious glee rushing through my body..

Yes... This is good.

Very.. good..

Itachi's P.O.V

Damn.. This is bad..

Very, very bad..

Everything's gone to shit.

Kohan's badly hurt and the demon now knows we want him dead.

Konan.. Your plan sucks..

There's absolutely no possible way we can take him head on. But..

We can always try.

My eyes stared over at the hot, flaming fire that shot from the demon's hands, completely consuming the field in its destruction.

The young girl whimpered from where she was held up, her body held tightly in the demon's grasp.

I narrowed my eyes upon that, my hand digging into my pocket for another weapon.

When going up against a stronger opponent, it's best to play defense to see what the said opponent has up their sleeves. And also... To wait until, the slip up happens...

And it always, happen.

So therefore, we have to wait this one out.

But first...

I stopped running and instead, flung my hand, throwing a dagger through the fire and towards the demon. I smirked.

That'll surely surprise him.

Hidan stopped running as well and just watched as the dagger went straight through the fire and directly into the demon's hand causing him to howl in pain.

The fire stopped immediately and he stumbled back, quickly going about and taking the weapon out of his skin.

And in that moment, I looked over at Hidan but then nodded my head towards the young girl, his eyes narrowing. "We need to get her out of here!" I yelled which reached not only Hidan's ears but also Kohan's who looked up at us, her eyes serious despite her condition.

I nodded at her, giving her a reassured thumbs up before turning back to the problem that was staring us in the face, the demon's growls growing louder and angrier. He grunted, throwing the knife down with ease.

He chuckled. "You think, a mere knife is gonna stop me? Hah! I'll kill every last one of you and keep the girl to myself. I won't, let you take her!" He yelled out hysterically, his body twitching insanely.

I growled at his behavior, watching as he began to laugh just like the maniac he was.

His restraint on his nature was now completely out of whack. Which...

Wasn't good at all.

It only told us that there will be more trouble.

I looked around a bit, noticing the empty stands..

Good.. No humans, are here.

I then looked over at Hidan and placed two fingers up, signaling that we were not.. attacking and only defending.

Of course he protested, but then looked back at the crazed demon and gave up.

He rolled his eyes and pulled out his gun, also a few more other things.

While I did the same.

And by our actions, it triggered the demon, his eyes glowing brightly. He studied the two of us for a moment, taking in how we stood completely still in front of him.

He narrowed his eyes, clicking his tongue. "Hmm.. Laying low I see.. Alright." He whispered but soon sent his tails towards us in high speeds, my hand pulling up my sword quickly

As soon as one came into my sight, I sliced it, slicing another as it came as well.

Hidan did the same but I also noticed he was inching up, his eyes set on the young girl in the air. I narrowed my eyes at that, studying him closely...

What, is he, planning?

Hidan's P.O.V

Fuck, defense...

Defense, isn't gonna shed any blood. Defense, isn't going to take down, this bastard.

But offense isn't either..

Naruto is going berserk so we won't be able to get close to him at all. So, the only solution is...

The girl...

We have, to hurt, the girl.

If what Sasori said is true then.. If we hurt the girl, we seriously hurt Naruto.

It's the only way and I really don't give two shits what Konan and Itachi want.

Playing nice isn't gonna get us anywhere. So I plan to strike her down.

My dark eyes laid fixated on her as she lightly swung left and right from where she was held up in the air, Naruto's tail wrapped around her body completely.

So the only thing that was revealed, was her face. I smirked, licking my lips...

Good.. I can work with that.

But before I went about striking, I turned towards Itachi to see him busy fighting with Naruto's tails, my eyes soon falling down at the tails that laid surrounding me.

Hmm..

I looked back at Naruto to see his tails all fully healed, his attention brought all on Itachi now. I smirked...

This is my chance.

So with one hand, I dug into my coat and grabbed ahold of a knife, my eyes moving back onto the girl. I smirked darkly..

Heh, no hard feelings, little girl...

So without any hesitation, I threw it with full force towards her head to end it all, her eyes falling on it immediately.

And like the little bitch she was, she screamed. "Oh no, Naruto!" She cried out, alerting Naruto who took notice to the flying knife..

He growled in response and moved her away from it. But, it was too late.

It didn't strike her in the head like I wanted it to but it did slice her cheek before flying off, leaving a huge cut which made her yelp out, the demon before us also groaning as well.

And right before our eyes, the same mark that grazed the human girl's skin, also appeared on Naruto's.

Blood fell from both of the beings faces, Hinata whimpering constantly from the pain.

But I can understand why.

The cut is, pretty deep after all.

I snickered upon seeing it but I couldn't finish celebrating because I was grabbed up by Itachi, my eyes meeting enraged filled ones.

He growled and pushed me back, my body stumbling away harshly. I groaned, scowling. "Ahh. What the hell?" I yelled out in annoyance on which he cursed, blowing out deeply, clearly pissed by my actions.

But..

I didn't give a damn...

He wrinkled his nose, his fists balled up completely. "You worthless idiot. What did we say about that? No, hurting the human girl!" He yelled out in rage which I rolled my eyes too, completely throwing his order under the bus.

Itachi's so weak minded. If he just stop and thought about it for a moment, the situation would be much more easier to solve.

If we kill the girl, just, do away with her. Then that would be the end, to Naruto..

Forever!

Hah, what's better than that?

It's only one ordinary human girl. No one, will miss her.

So, I glared upon Itachi and stood by my belief while the demon and human, were distracted, also...

Hinata's P.O.V

My breathing was out of control as I stared down at the scene that played out before me, my stomach slowly growing worse in feeling.

I felt like I was going to throw up.

With being in the air like this for so long and so high up, it was really starting to affect me. And the deep gash on my face didn't help either.

Just what was that bastard doing?

I had no idea what was going on or who these people were. I know their demon hunters but..

How did they know about Naruto?

Maybe..

I gasped..

But before I could wrap my head around the situation, I was suddenly pulled down slowly, the furry tail wrapped around my body lowering.

I gasped once more, my eyes lighting up to see the ground again.

Yes!

My feet touched it and soon Naruto's tail left me altogether.

But soon a large hand fell on my cheek, blood red eyes looking down upon my wound.

Naruto clicked his tongue, his eyes also keeping note of the demon hunters who seemed to be in some sort of argument.

I gulped at that, looking back up at Naruto. But I couldn't look for too long because of the unimaginable fear that would strike my body and heart.

Every time I looked at him, I just remembered everything he's done, tonight..

He...

Injured Konan..

Threatened me...

Hurt Sakura..

And now..

He's done things I've never seen him do before which makes me very uneasy. I didn't know how to feel about him anymore. I was just so...

Scared..

I just want to go home..

I can't believe the same creature that's done all of this carnage, has also previously made me feel so, good... Has been...

Inside, of me..

I felt sick.

My hand fell down to my queasy stomach but that didn't bother Naruto, his hand steady caressing at my bloody wound which made me hiss in pain.

He gritted his teeth. "Damn it.. You're not, safe here, Hinata." He whispered out to me which made me whimper, my head turning away from him.

He sighed, noticing my shaky state.

He went down a bit so he was crouching in front of me, his eyes trying desperately to look within my own.

But I wouldn't let him.

I turned my head every time he would try to move his. I just couldn't look him in the eye again.

And he, noticed.

He breathed deeply but then lowered his head, giving up. "Hinata darling... I know I've done some pretty bad things tonight but I'm only doing it to protect you. To protect us. We're linked, remember. How about you..." He trailed off and slowly rose up to his regular height, his body towering over me, once again.

He gave me a faint smile but then moved down to kiss my cheek causing me to blush.

He then moved up to my ear. "Leave, Hinata." He only whispered and then gave me a light push which made me stumble off, his eyes moving off of me and back onto the two men ahead of us, their eyes staring wide-eyed at our encounter.

I looked back at Naruto, one last time, watching as his inhuman body grew angry once again at the sight of them.

He turned back to me and growled, flashing his glowing red eyes.

He scowled, his voice dropping an octave I have never, heard before. Own that was beyond scary.

"Go!"

He barked demonically which shakily caused me to start running.

I didn't know where I was going but I knew I had to get away from here. My feet fell desperately on the grass as I made my way forward quickly, almost immediately hearing battle cries from behind me.

My human body shook constantly from the awful sounds but I kept going, my eyes soon meeting a gate of some kind in the back of the field. I gasped at that, smiling.

Yes!

I prayed to god that my loved ones were still out there.. Somewhere.

They couldn't have left me, could they?

I silently pleaded they hadn't. I wouldn't know what to do if they did.

I blew out a deep breath and soon turned my head one last time, checking the area again. Naruto was once again battling with the hunters who tried their best to fight him off.

But I also looked over at the stands to find Konan but gasped to find that she was no longer there. I whimpered, stopping in front of the gate.

Oh no.. Where did she go?

Out of fear, I shook it off and instead used the last bit of my strength and pulled the heavy gate open, causing a loud creak to erupt throughout the late night air.

But I ignored it and instead ran my way passed it and into the parking lot, eyeing the empty lot with widened eyes.

Oh gosh.

My glossy eyes could only pinpoint three cars. Three cars that fortunately held my friends inside.

I watched with teary eyes as Ino bursted from the car in relief at the sight of me, waving her hands wildly. "Hinata! Hinata! Over here. Quick!" She yelled frantically, my eyes spotting my other two friends as well inside. I felt like crying right then.

Oh my gosh..

They didn't leave...

Quickly, I broke out into a sprint, trying desperately to make it over to them.

I have to!

But before I could, I felt a hand grab mine, halting me.

I gasped in surprise at that.

But before I could see who the culprit was, I felt something sharp stab itself into my neck, soon emptying its contents into my body.

I whimpered at that and stumbled away, my vision suddenly growing blurry and also, shaky.

So when I turned around, I saw three versions of the same person, my eyes squinting. But who I saw, however, looked oddly familiar to me, my body growing heavier and heavier..

Is that...

I whimpered louder when I suddenly slipped and fell down onto the ground, slowly submitting to the unknown drug that was running in my system..

But I precisely remember spotting lavender, hair. I shed a tear at that, soon giving up to the darkness..

That, was..

Konan...

But, why?
