O, Thames

We were young,
Living on a rough country side,
Every evening we would go to
Thames.
It was our spot.
We made a thousand memories,
By Thames.
We smiled, laughed,
Kissed, cried under Thames.

It was just you and me,
I'd sneak out every
Saturday night just to
Meet you by Thames.

I remember it was
Raining one day ,
The moon was white.
The river was glistening.
You looked wonderful,
It all looked as
If it was a fairytale.
I proceeded towards you,
You embraced me,
Wrapping your arms around
My waist and turned me around .
It all felt so good.
We held hands,
It felt unreal and
We embraced it.

How could I forget
The memories
We made?
How could I forget
The sapphire pendant,
You gave me as a gift ?

I am alone,
No-one besides me.
My head is spinning thinking
About you and the memories we Made.
Now you're not here,
It feels void.
It all hurts as now,
As you're not besides me .
You are long gone,
And I know that you're
Never coming back.
For, it's not easy to come
Back from heaven.

As I think this,
I look at the dark water
And touch the pendant
You gave me,
It all reminds me of you .

Thames was always special
for us,
It was always our spot
&
It will always be,
Even if you're not coming back.
We shared all our darkest secrets;
All our happiness here.

A tear rolls down;
I know this is never coming back.
I have nothing but the
Empty waters now.
Waves crashing to & fro.
The wind is howling as
If its calling for someone.
I have nothing left now ,
Just pieces of the memories
And time.
O, Thames.

This idea just came to me even day all of a sudden and I wrote it down. I used my imagination and I think it's one of my best poems so far.
