Yonder Flight

O’ Yonder Sky ,
Where thou been at?
These restless birds
Wait for your arrival.

O’ Yonder Sky ,
I miss thy strokes of
Light-Blue merging with
Fading Pink.
O’ Yonder Sky ,
Everyday these pigeons
In the morning , with their
Flocks wait for you to rise above
The Mountains , for the flight.

O’ Yonder Sky
In sooth , you make my heart
Soar with the flight of the
Pigeons.

O’ Bird of the Wind ,
Where is thy destination?
What songs does thou croon?
Songs of life ; songs of thy flight.

O’ Bird of the Wind ,
Do you think , tis' world is
Poignant or Calm.

O’ Bird , taking flight
Tell me of the view you see :
Of the Rich Burghers minding
Their see ,
Of the Argosies sailing ,
Of the Flood claiming the Sand.
Tell me the views you see
Part , your wisdom with me.

O’ Bird
Making nest in the
Babulnath Trees ,
Tell me of the places you've been.
Of the foundations  -- of your house.
Tell me the songs you sing ,
O’ Bird , tell me about thee.
Spread those colours with me.

O’ woodpecker
Pecking at the tree ,
Tell me of your purpose
And of the yonder sky.
Tell me of your home
And it's inhabitants.

O’ Sea of Crystals
Tell me of your journey.
Pass me the wisdom ,
You carry.
Tell me of the mundanes
You've played and dragged with.
Tell me of the people you see ,
The fools that enter you laughing
Like Bagpipers ,
Whilst you expect nothing.

O’ Sand ,
Tell me how you've been.
Must be tiring ,
Having people take you for granted
And stamp their feet on you ,
’Whilst you have a talk with the
Sea and Sky.

See the blend ,
The striking imagery
Of you Elements , on the
Canvas.

See the way
Yonder Clouds with
Crystallising Sea and Sand ,
Contribute to this mundane world.

Watch the birds ,
Taking flight.
The boats floating among
Rich Argosies that cater to
Merchants of this town.
Look at the hues
Merging and creating
New shades among themselves.

Look at the boughs
Swaying their heads to the
Song of the Wind.
Look at the flowers blossoming
For foolish mundanes ,
Caged to their phones.

Look at the Nature creating
An act ,
Whilst' you're busy complaining.
Compliment them
Thank them
Before they ,
All take Flight
And Disappear.

Inspired by the scenery of marine drive and the poem : bird of time by Sarojini Naidu.
