It was the Friday after Crown Jewel, I woke up and just turned to my phone and saw that it was 8 o'clock in the morning. I yawned and stretched as I sat up and ran my hands through my hair. After a few moments got up and headed into the bathroom of the hotel room and took a long shower and as I started waking up I ran through tonight's match card.
Tonight was to be the first official night since the superstar draft that's been going on for a few weeks. Not to mention the superstars that went to Saudi Arabia barely got back to the states yesterday. I was one of the superstars that opted out of going.
Anyway, it was to be Lacey Evans vs. Natalya which didn't surprise me as the storyline rivalry even had me at the edge of my seat. And was the most popular match at Crown Jewel.
Tonight was the last match of the storyline. But the first time I officially meet her and her lovely little girl Summer is during a promo before the match.
I for the past couple weeks have been in a feud or rivalry with Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship which WWE planned on being a long rivalry.
And tonight's match for me was against one of his henchmen Sami Zayn. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross were to go against Sonya and Mandy.

I turned off the shower and got dried off and changed into some casual clothes. Combed and styled my hair even shaved. I then went to the closet of the room and retrieved my arena bag and headed to the arena.

The moment I arrived at the arena I changed into some workout clothes and headed to the arena gym. I worked out for a grand total of three hours and after the workout, I unwrapped my fists of tape and flexed my fingers a few times and just walked to my locker room. Then to catering and waited for showtime.

When it was showtime and the camera's were rolling, I decided to make a lasting impression on WWE's Sassy Southern Belle and her little girl. So when her promo started I meandered to the tray of cookies in catering and picked it up and walked with them to the interview/promo area and waited for the opportune moment to just introduce myself to Summer and Lacey.
"Well, Lacey it seems that the hostilities between you and Natalya are calming down. What are your plans for the coming months?" Kayla asked.
"Well, Kayla. Your right, the hostilities between me and Natalya are calming down and as for my plans for the coming months?" She looked to Summer. "I'm going to really make my daughter proud by beating that no account bully Bayley for the Smackdown Women's Championship, and if I have to go through her friend, Sasha. So be it." I then walked on camera with the tray of cookies. "What do you think your doing?"
"I just wanted to know if anyone wanted a cookie." I said, then bent down to Summer's level. "Would you like one?" She gently took one and smiled at me.
"Thank you." She said meekly.
"Your welcome, sweetheart." I then stood up straight and walked closer to Lacey. "How about you?" I could tell I was making her angry. "Nah. Didn't think so." I dropped the tray, immediately wrapped my arms around Lacey, dipped her and kissed her. After a few seconds I returned us upright and walked away. The camera was focused on Lacey as her face went from angry to somewhat smiling.

When her match was up, Dana watched over Summer for her as she headed out to the ring to face Natalya for the last time. I watched from the monitor in the gorilla. It was a real barn burner.

Both ladies exchanged control of the match. But Lacey won it with two Women's Rights. The moment she won i celebrated internally while she celebrated while smiling that smile Southern Belle smile that's become her signature. Dana and Summer came into the gorilla and noticed me watching the tail end of the match.

Summer ran up and jumped on my lap. I groaned and smiled. "Well, I see that your happy that your mom won aren't ya little one?" I asked. She smiled as Dana walked up to us.
"Whose this, Summer?" Dana asked.
"I don't know." Summer replied with a smile
Dana grinned as she said, "Then why are you sitting on his lap?"
What Summer said next nearly had me in stitches. "Cause he gave me a cookie." She happily answered.
"Well,Summer. My name is Daniel Boyce." I smiled as she extended her hand as I did the same and shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you." She smiled.
"Same here, little lady." I grinned. Then Lacey came through the curtain and found Summer sitting in my lap.
"Hey mama." She smiled.
"Hey Summer baby." Summer got off my lap and ran to Lacey.
Lacey looked at me and grinned. "That's one sweet little girl you got there, Miss. Evans." I said.
"I know." Lacey grinned as I shook my head as I realized that I didn't introduce myself to Lacey yet.
"Oh my goodness. Where are my mannwers. Daniel Boyce." I extended my right hand to her and she took it gently into hers and shook it. "But you can call me 'Big' Dan Halsey. Or just Dan."
"I think the latter will suffice. I take it your match is next?" I nodded. "Well, good luck out there. Maybe me and Summer will meet you after." I knew Lacey meant it as a joke. But I somehow felt that she probably would. Soon I heard 'My Way' come over the speakers and I put on my fedora and headed out after winking at Lacey and Summer. While I made my way to the ring Summer and Dana could tell that there was something going on with the Sassy Southern Belle. "What?" Lacey asked Dana.
"You like him don't you?" Dana asked. Summer grinned as her mother changed a few shades of blush red.
"Dana. He kissed me during my promo. Gave Summer a cookie. Although he did find his senses and introduced himself properly just now."
"You can thank Summer for getting the ball rolling on that. Or thank me as I asked her who he was and when she said she didn't know his name. He introduced himself properly to her as I had called her by name when she initially jumped into his lap." Dana explained.
"Well, maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt." Lacey grinned at Summer and Dana as they headed to Lacey's locker room for her to shower and change into casuals or at least what qualified as casuals to her.
Once she was changed and dressed in the casuals she chose and watched the rest of my match against Sami Zayn with Dana and Summer.

Meanwhile in the ring...
I had been dominating the match against Sami. When I picked him up he delivered a low blow which I didn't feel as I was extremely pissed at the act and put him in a headlock and drove his head into the canvas. I breathed in and out slowly. As the pain slowly subsided I picked Sami up and tossed him into the ropes and performed Arn Anderson's standard Spinebuster which layed Sami out flat as a pancake. I then went for the pin and won the match.

Lacey's locker room...
Summer and Lacey cheered for me and immediately went to the gorilla to meet me as I came through the curtain I hobbled a bit as I made my way to to the back. I made it to the stage and barely turned my head and smirked. When I reached the back, Summer ran up and wrapped her arms around my legs. "Hey, little lady. What's all the hub bub?" I asked as I smiled.
"She's happy that you won your match." Lacey grinned. "And as weird as it sounds to me. I am too." She winked at me.
"Well, that's something." I ruffled Summers hair causing her to giggle. Lacey grinned at the picture of Summer and I having a little fun as I picked her up and whirled her around in my arms. "Well. I need to go change, and if you two want. I'll be more than happy to take guys out to dinner."
"Aunt Dana too?" Summer asked.
"If she wants?" I replied.
"I'm sure aunt Dana has other plans sweetheart." I put Summer down and she ran to Lacey and she picked her daughter up.
"Ooh, okay mama." Summer smiled.
"Well. Why don't you lovely ladies go and get packed or ready and I'll go and get changed and meet you gals in catering or in the parking lot." They nodded and I went to my locker room and changed into some casuals then headed to catering and joined Summer and Lacey and with them headed to a pizza parlor and picked up a pepperoni pizza. After we headed to the hotel. When we got there the lady at the front desk called Lacey over.
We all walked over and the lady started, "I'm sorry Miss. Evans. We had a to give away your room. To an important client." She said.
"What?" Lacey nearly screamed.
"Lacey. I'll handle this." I looked to the receptionist. "Can I have a spare key to my room please." She handed me a spare keycard and I passed it to Lacey. "And have Miss. Evans' things are brought up to my room. "
"Yes, sir." The receptionist said. 
"What are you doing?" Lacey asked.
"What's it look like? I'm giving you a place to stay for the night."
Lacey smiled and kissed my cheek.
We then headed to my hotel room. When we arrived at my hotel room her and Summers luggage was in the room. When they started eating the pizza I smiled as I headed into the bathroom for a shower with a pair of jeans and boxers. I took a semi quick shower since I didn't get one at the arena. Once I finished and dried off. I put on my boxers then my jeans. When I walked out of the bathroom Lacey and Summer were laying in the bed doing some reading together. Lacey stared at my shirtless upper body until Summer smiled as she said, "He's cute."
"Summer!" Lacey yelled in shock.
"What mama? You were staring at him too." Summer giggled as Lacey blushed like mad at her daughters statement. I couldn't help but smile and laugh at what she said as Lacey turned different shades af blush red.
"Okay Summer. Mind your mom okay?" I asked.
"Okay Daniel." She smiled as I headed out to the living area of the hotel room and set up shop on the sofa. I noticed that they saved me a couple slices of the pizza and I ate the last pieces and just got ready for bed. I was almost asleep when I heard the bedroom door close and heard someone approach the sofa. I looked and saw Lacey standing above me.
"Something wrong?" I asked her.
"No. Summer is sleeping and I thought she would want the bed to herself. Do you mind sharing the sofa?" She explained and asked.
"No. Not at all. Although it's gonna be a tight fit mind you." I told her.
"I'm a marine. I'll adapt." She grinned.
"Alright." I pulled the blanket off me exposing the same jeans I had on when I got out of the bathroom and she slid in next to me. Once she was comfortable. I wrapped the blanket around both of us and she sighed in contentment and held my left arm with her right hand. After saying goodnight to each other, she fell asleep. To be honest I was surprised that Lacey would want to sleep with me when the bed was big enough to hold her and Summer comfortably. But here she was sleeping next to me. But I soon just let it be and fell asleep myself.
