"But how will we recognise normal people?" Shirley asks as they settled down in Lucas's room.

"Do not forget that I am a vampire and I can distinguish normal people and they even have a different smell," Lucas explained.

"But how will we do this? There so many people in this town and who knows where the norml people are?"

"I have noticed that Noah and Mary have mostly attacked the people who live near their house so we will go and check the houses which are on the other side of the town," Lucas said.

"But we do not have much time and going there and identifying normal people will take forever!" Shirley argued.

"I have an idea let's go to the police station and tell the officers all that we know and maybe they will help us."

"Ok, but do you know how to stop them?" Shirley looked at Lucas doubtfully.

"There is only one way to stop them. We have to kill them or else they will convert each and every person present in this country and slowly the whole world."

"What? killed them? But I don't think it's the right thing to do." Shirley argued.

"It's the only thing we can do or else get converted," Lucas said irritated.

"Alright, how to kill them?"

"Let's go to the police station first I will tell you and the officer together."

Shirley nodded. Then they freshened up and went to Lucas's car. He drove very aggressively and at a very high speed. The ride was very silent. No one spoke a single word. Faint music was playing on the radio. They reached the police station in fifteen minutes.

Lucas and Shirley got out of the car and ran inside the police station. Many officers were sitting there doing their work and some people were reporting their problems. They could see some criminals behind the bars.

Lucas and Shirley ran to a free officer who was sitting on his desk and writing something.

"Sir it's very urgent. We have to report something that has been happening here and which will turn the whole town upside down tomorrow night," Lucas said breathlessly.

"Children, children calm down. I am here to hear you. First, drink a glass of water you look very thirsty." Said the officer offering a glass of water to both Lucas and Shirley from his table. They both immediately took that glass and drank the water in one go.

When Lucas was normal, he said "sir you might not believe me but I am saying the truth. All the attacks are done by vampires and are planning something big tomorrow night since it's blue moon night and on that night vampires are the strongest."

"What! why should I believe you and anyways vampires are not real!" The officer gazed at them suspiciously.

"You don't believe in vampires? So I will tell you I can read your mind and confirm that vampires are real." Lucas said confidently.

"So you are a vampire too? Huh?" The officer smirked.

"You are thinking that these children are out of their mind to think that vampires are real and I am going to get kick them out if you don't stop," Lucas smirked back.

The officer's mouth dropped down.  He was staring at Lucas in shock.

"How did you do that?" Officer asked, not belief in his own ears.

"Officer we told you the vampires are real and please hurry or you will get everyone converted into one," Shirley yelled.

"Woh girl calm down. I believe you now tell me what to do." The officer finally said.
