"Don't lie!" Lucas yelled. I know what you all are doing here."

"What do you mean?" Suddenly, Mary's voice became heavy.

"I know that you all are vampires and you all are planning something."

"Fine! You are right! But now, you can't stop us! Even you know that the Blue Moon night is tomorrow and we will be powerful on the night. We will convert the rest few people into vampires too!" Mary screamed.

"I won't let this happen!" Lucas answered, doubting his own words.

"Let's see, " Mary smirked.

"But, you have to leave Shirley, " Lucas said.

"Alright!"

Lucas stomped out of the room. Shirley was just behind him.

"What just happened? Can you explain to me?" She asked.

"You already know! They all are vampires including me!" Lucas confessed as they exited the house.

"What? You too?" Shirley stopped walking.

Lucas nodded.

"But why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Shirley spoke as her eyes became watery.

"Its because I didn't want to scare you and destroy our friendship."

"But lying was not the right way to keep our friendship!" Shirley began to cry.

"Look, Shirley, " Lucas began to go near her but she stopped him by a gesture of her hand. "It's not the time to fight! You have to trust me! I won't hurt you!"

"But why should I believe you?" Shirley yelled.

"If I wanted to hurt you then I would have done this before. I had a lot of chances but I didn't hurt you right?"

Shirley nodded.

Lucas went and hugged her. "Now, tomorrow night is a big day for vampires. This night comes once in 300 years. And on that night, all the vampires are really strong. We won't be able to do anything to them at night time. But we can hurt them in daylight." Lucas explained as they settled in the car.

"So you mean that they will convert the rest of the people into vampires?" Shirley asked.

"Yes. And I am very sure that they have already converted most of the people who live here already. We have to gather the remaining ones and then explain them all this, " he continued.

"So can I ask you some questions about you?" Shirley asked after some time.

"Certainly."

"So I read that vampires can smell other vampires. And there are different types of vampires. So which one are you?"

"I am a vegetarian vampire. It means that I feed on animals instead of humans. And vegetarians have black blood and some less powerful abilities than the others." Lucas explained.

"Ohh. That's why whenever I visit you, there are many dead animals in your backyard?"

"Yes."

They both kept talking and Lucas answered most of Shirley's questions.

Soon they reached Lucas's house. They both got down and Lucas said "we have to save everyone it soon it will be the end of the human race."
