The next day, at school, everyone was talking about something that happened last night.

When Noah and Mary entered the school, they were really confused. They didn't know what everyone was talking about.

They saw Jessica and the rest of the group near the lockers so they headed that way.

"Hey!" Mary greeted.

"Hello!" Jessica and Lucas greeted back while Shirly and Percy looked away.

Why are Shirly and Percy acting like this after looking at us? Noah telecommunicates  with Mary.

I don't know. What if they saw you at the track? Mary replied.

"What are you thinking?" Jessica snapped at them, bringing them out of their conversation that only they can hear.

"Oh, nothing I was just thinking how great the party was, " Mary quickly lied.

"Thank you! And I am so glad that you came, " Jessica smiled.

"Um, Jess, what is everyone talking about?" Noah asked.

"Don't you know? Last night, someone attacked our Principal and her children" Lucas said.

"What? Our principal?" Noah and Mary gasped.

"Yes and her son died, " Jessica said.

Didn't you know that she was our principal?
Noah asked Mary through his mind.

How would I know? Our admission was done through the website. That's why I have never seen our principal. Mary explained.

"You both are again lost in thoughts, " Jessica sighed.

"Sorry..." Mary was cut off by the bell.

Thank God! Saved by the bell, she told Noah.

He nodded.

"So what is your first class?" Shirley asked.

"I and Noah have bio, " Mary said.

"Me too, " Percy said, disappointed. He never liked the two of them. "We have to do blood tests today".

"What? Blood tests, " Noah freaked out.

"Yeah, why? What happened?" Percy asked.

"Nothing. He is scared of needles" Mary quickly covered up.

Everyone chuckled.

"Okay! We head to our classes now, " Shirley said.

"You all go. We will come in a minute. We have to go to the reception for some work," Mary said.

"Ok bye, " Jessica waved.

When they all were gone, Mary said " you can't go to the bio class or you will lose control. You better fake sickness and go to the clinic".

"Yeah you are right, " Noah agreed and he went towards the clinic while Mary went to the class.

"Where is Noah?" Percy asked her.

"He went to the clinic. He is ill" Mary said.

Something is fishy. Percy immediately understood. I and Shirley will surely find out who they really are.
