Demetri's POV*** ..... (kind of xD)

He wrapped his fingers through her disheveled hair as the two of them clambered inside the shoddy apartment building. The dark room welcomed them with open arms as the door was slammed closed by the ravenous beast of a man who craved one thing, and one thing only.

Her.

It was all about her. In more ways than one, and God did he feel tortured when she was brought up, mentioned or even around him. She was driving him crazy. Bat shit crazy.

Her head lolled back as his hand reached for the back of shirt. Her loud pants did nothing to alarm nor stop him for he continued to unbutton the jammed backing on the hem of her blouse.

Venus grew frustrated at his pitiful attempt at getting her clothes off her body and took things into her own hands. She slammed her lips onto his without little care for grace or finesse. He didn't seem to mind either as he'd somehow found his way to the couch in the dark, laying her back down gently.

To many women, he recalled them whining that his lips were too rough, or he wasn't passionate enough and yet he'd agree with them, not caring how they disliked it. However right here this girl was, accepting every aspect of him and what he did to her. She liked it.  Her appreciation for him drove him off a cliff for never had anyone been so accepting of him.

She quickly grabbed his shirt and he trailed sloppy kisses down to her collarbone. Her lips parted as a low moan spilled out from her throat. It was a beautiful sound in all for him, and he wanted more, needed more.

He grabbed the hem of his shirt, pulling back from her, and pulled it over his head before tossing it to the side without thinking.  He froze, his heart hammering inside of his chest as he waited for her repulsion. He had various scars, many small, marking his chest. Shit, he'd forgotten. His battle scars over the years had finally caught up to him.

The two froze, staring at one another. Venus's crazed eyes locked on his torso, absentmindedly reaching out with both of her hands. Relief flooded him seeing as she made no desperate attempts to run, scream or push him to the side.

Demetri could only chuckle to himself as he lowered himself on her, and she explored him with her hands. She traced over every indent on his stomach and small scars. Her fingers wove around like a stream with meandering rivers.

She smiled and reached up for his face. He blinked, seeming unsure, but sealed it with a kiss. It was deeper than before. Passionate. For the first time.

First time.

First time.

"Wait," He pulled back, still straddling her. Her dazed look transformed into one of confusion.

"What's the matter?" She asked while sitting up against the couch arm. He let out a sigh, rubbing a hand down his face in exhaustion. The pack had been giving him issues by the handfuls, no doubt still fleeting from the new laws from the Peacekeepers.

The Peacekeepers. They would have him killed if they knew what he was doing. To them it looked as though he was persuading her to take his side of the fight. They'd even have her killed because she'd be useless to them. The new law would prohibit them from becoming what they were truly meant to be. It was simple. He shouldn't be doing this.

"I can't do this with you," He said, his hand still on her cheek from where it was. She stared at him with widened eyes before her cheeks began to burn. He clenched his jaw, not liking her reaction.

"What?" She asked.

He closed his eyes. "I don't want to do this with you."

The amount of breath she'd lost while those words flew from his mouth could have made him cringe. He kept his eyes shut, hoping to avoid seeing her reaction.

"Get out." Her voice became cold and unwelcoming. She jerked away from his touch, crossed her arms and kept her head turned from him. A small pool of tears formed in her sad eyes yet they refused to fall. His eyes opened this time.

"Venus-"

But instead, she squeezed her eyes shut tight to the point where he could see little crinkle lines on her eyelids.

"I said get out, Demetri!" She spat, and so he did, shamelessly grabbing his shirt from the ground.

Venus's POV***

"I don't want to do this with you," He said with closed eyes. His aloof demeanor threw me off, and I paused, searching his face. I gasped, realizing there was no humor behind it.

Dread and humiliation.

That was all I could feel. It seemed I was made up of the two as they consumed my body with their dark clouds.

"Get out," I  muttered. I noticed his hand still on my cheek so I did the same thing he was doing to me right now and pushed it away. I didn't give a damn whether or not the gesture was meant to be assuaging, but I rejected it either way.

I could feel them, both of them. The tears pooling in the corners of my eyes, and the mass amounts of humiliation.  It seemed to become me the more I waited for him to leave.

"Venus," he tried again, a bit more gentle, but it only ceased to remind me of what he had just said.

I clenched my fists and pushed him back a bit. He seemed stunned but said nothing.

"I said get out, Demetri!"

He turned around, hopped off my thighs, reached for his shirt and left without another word.

I didn't move a for a few seconds, before it came back to me. I closed my eyes. From one second we were on great terms, making out and doing God knows what else, and then in a single instant, I was pushed away.

"Dammit!" I shouted, flinging the couch pillow across the living room. It landed in a pathetic slump, leaving me to wipe my eyes in anger.

I know it's short I'm at a writing block so this'll have to do for now! Please be patient!
