# FOR THE CONTESTANTS

~ No bashing, bribing or use of abusive words for the hosts, the judges or the contestants.

~ We won’t ask you to follow our personal accounts but please follow Ink_Lover so that you don’t miss any update.

~ Please add this book to your private library and if you wish to, then your reading list as well. That might help us in expanding our reach.

~ Plagiarism is strictly not allowed. One hint of plagiarism and you’ll be banned from the contest for as long as it will run.

~ The hosts have the right to decline your submission if we find it offensive or against our rules and regulations.

~ There will be one submission per contestant. You can make a separate book for your entries or post them in an already ongoing book. But please make sure to specify the name of your entry when you notify us about the submission.

~ Put the tag #thewarriorsofink in the tag section of your book (and not in the name of the book).

~ Please tag either GS_Stella, Ink_Lover or asmi944 in the chapter of your entry and DM us once you have done so. This is just to make sure that we don’t miss your entries under any circumstances.

~ The password is your favorite cuisine. Just for fun and to make sure that you have read the rules ;)

~ The previously mentioned three categories, i.e., 0-2 years, 2-4 years and more than 4 years, are for how long have you been writing and not for how long has it been since you have joined Wattpad. So, please mention your category accordingly.

~ The task for all the contestants will be same. However, they will be judged according to their categories.

~ The deadlines are to be strictly followed and if you want an extension then please give us a proper reason to do so.

~ The Achievers of Set 1 won’t be allowed to participate in the Set 2 but can participate in Set 3 and so on. But if they still wish to write on the given task, please feel free to do so. However, that write-up will not be considered for evaluation.

~ Your entries must be in English and if you have written a dialogue or something in Hindi, please make sure to give the English translation along with.

~ The word limit for the entries is 1000-1500 words and it must be done in a single chapter. A relaxation of 15-20 words can, however, be given, if the story demands for it. Please mention your word count at the end of your story.

~ Mature content is allowed but that must not be explicit or offensive.

~ Please wait patiently for the acceptance of your form. We won’t take much long to do so, hardly a couple of hours.

~ The prizes for the Achievers and the form for the contestants along with the first task will be given in the upcoming chapters.

# FOR THE JUDGES

~ Please follow Ink_Lover and add this book to your reading list.

~ You can choose either to be a permanent judge or a temporary one.

~ No direct contact or conversation with the contestants is allowed as your identity will be kept anonymous regarding which judge has judged which entry.

~ The judges won’t be allowed to participate in the contest. If they wish to participate in the contest at any point of time, then they can opt out from being a judge whenever they wish to.

~ There will be a separate form for the judges which will be reviewed and approved accordingly. So, please be patient about that.

~ The judges will be reviewed on the basis of any one of their works they choose and then forms will be approved.

~ The perks and benefits of being a judge will be mentioned in the upcoming chapter along with the forms.

# DETAILS OF THE CONTEST

~ As mentioned previously, the contest will be organized in sets of twenty days each. Ten days for submission and ten days for judging.

~ At the beginning of each set you’ll be given three things along with the forms of participation. These three things will be:

> A Genre : This is to help you polish your skills not only in the genres you feel comfortable with but to explore other genres as well. You have got wings and the heart of a warrior, just reach out and see the wonderful areas you can fly to.

> A Word : This word will not necessarily be your theme. You can use it in any way you want. That’s up to your creativity skill. However, the way you use the word will earn you points.

> A Catch : Now this catch can be anything. This can be a picture, whose meaning you’ll have to decipher in your own way and include that in your story. It can be a starting or an ending phrase, or a character that you’ll have to include in your story, or a character trait that any of your character must possess. So, this can be anything and we’ll keep changing this catch from one set to another.

~ Your entries will be marked out of 75 marks.

- Title : 5 marks
- Cover : 5 marks
- Blurb : 5 marks
- Relevance to the genre : 5 marks
- Usage of word : 10 marks
- Usage of Catch : 10 marks
- Grammar : 10 marks
- Narration and description : 10 marks
- Plot and character development : 10 marks
- Dialogue and Sentence structure : 5 marks
