Eldice ship

It was a hot sunny day out. Elias was sitting outside near the lake enjoying the sun. Everyone else was inside playing a game of would you rather.

He could hear Agua getting yelled at by Jay and Trey trying to make the Treyden ship cannon. Typical of her.

Then he saw the door open and Candice to walk out of it. She looked angry and had cereal in her hair.

"Um Candice are you okay?" Elias asked her.

"Yes, yes I am. I'm perfectly fine with cereal in my hair and down my shirt and in my pants. Everything is perfectly fine." Candice said angrily emptying her shirt full of cereal.

"You don't seem fine to me." Elias said pulling cereal bits of her hair.

"That's because I'm not. Agua is being really annoying again. Izumi tried to help me out though but she just made the situation worse." Candice explained to Elias.

Elias had for some reason always liked Candice more than the others. He just couldn't explain why though. Maybe it was her niceness, or how she always abided to the rules. Whatever it was he couldn't tell you since not even he knew.

"Oof, that sucks. How was Agua being annoying though?" Elias asked curiously.

Candice for some reason went very red. "Well um, she... Uh I-i had a would you rather and, and a- nevermind it's not important." She stopped suddenly after stuttering.

This made Elias even more curious. He didn't want to push her though so he didn't say anything about it.

"You still have cereal in your hair though, let me get it out for you." He said instead, moving closer to her to get out the cereal.

"It's fine!" Candice squeaked, going even redder in the face then before. She moved farther away.

"I'm just trying to help. Why are you so red in the face though, do you have a fever or something?" Elias asked, getting worried about Candice.

She was acting really strange. He had to get to the bottom of this, even if it meant making her mad.

"It's fine I can wash out my hair in the lake!" Candice said rushing over to the lake and dipped her head in.

"Your face is still red though, let me check your forehead." Elias said putting his hand on her forehead to feel her temperature.

"Eek!" Candice shrieked falling backwards into the lake.

"Oh my God I'm so sorry! Are you alright!?" Elias asked jumping in after her.

"YES I'M ALRIGHT! JUST GO AWAY!" Candice shouted diving underwater.

Elias frowned as he watched her swim away to the other side of the lake.

He didn't think she would get so mad she would yell at him. He didn't even understand why she got so mad at him. It was almost saddening that she was mad at him.

He saw her surface up at the other shore saw her sink down as she relaxed into the cool lake water.

He decided to swim over to her just hang out with, not to keep pestering her.

"Hey Candice, I'm bored." He said after reaching her side of the lake.

"So am I. I also feel bad for getting mad a t you earlier." She said kneeling in the lake so only her head was showing.

"It's alright, just some water under the bridge now." He said smiling.

"Can I tell you something?" Candice asked, Elias nodded. "I got mad because I didn't wanna tell you that Agua was shipping the Eldice ship too much. But the thing is, I kinda like that ship." She said slowly sinking deeper into the water.

Elias had no clue what to say. He was going just as red as she was. What could he say? Did he tell her the truth that he liked her too, or lie to her? He chose to do the right thing and tell her the truth.

He brought her back up to the surface before saying, "I like that ship too."

Candice went through several shades of red before smiling and giving him a big hug. In fact it was so big that he fell over underwater.

They both came back up laughing and decided to head back to the tree house.

When they walked in they saw Cass, Gabi, and Agua clapping.

"It's really cannon now! It really is!" Agua cried as she pulled several sheets of paper to write. She was overcome with joy.

"Yeah, it is cannon." Elias said while smiling pulling Candice closer to him.

He was glad this was what ended up happening. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.
