Y/n's POV
Before some weeks, WICKED send up a calendar and a list with all of our ages and dates of birth. It was kinda exiting, actually, because we found out exactly how old we are and when are our birthdays.

So, today, the 7th September, is Newt's birthday. Nobody mentioned it, though, so he doesn't get suspicious.

We decided that we will make Newt a surprise party. And since nobody wants to slip, we all decided that we won't talk to him all that much today.

When I woke up, I tried not to wake him up, which I somehow succeed in, then left the room and went to find Minho and Thomas. Today, both of them plus me are off from work, because we are his closest friends. Alby should be too, but he's the leader and can't quit his job for the day.

So, we ordered some decorations from the creators and told Alby to keep Newt busy the whole day and to not let him in the kitchen. Alby is the only one who would be talking with Newt today, probably.

I went to the Map Room and found Minho and Thomas there already.

"Morning Shanks,"I said, resting my hands on the table, leaning on them a little."You Ready to organize the best party ever?"I asked, exited.

"Um, duh! That's why we are here!"Minho said and me and Thomas laughed.

"Okay then, let's get to work!"I said, happy to make my boyfriend on his special day.

Newt's POV
I woke up due to the sun in my eyes. I put my pillow on my head and reached out to wrap my arm around Y/n, but unfortunately I don't find her.

I remove the pillow from my head and opened my eyes confused. Where is she? What time it it?

I took my watch from the nightstand next to me and looked at the time. 9:30.

9:30! Shuck, I am so late! Alby will kill me!

I got up from the bed and fast put my hoodie on, then walked out and to the homestead to see Alby.

"Oh Alby, I am so sorry, I slept in, I-"

"Geez, Newt, chill. It's alright Shank."Alby cut me off. I rose an eyebrow.

"Um, what? Are you for real?"I asked, confused.

"Yeah, Newt. It's all cool, you slept in once, what's the big deal?"Alby said, chiller than usual.

"Okay?"I said, beyond confused."Um, do you know where Y/n is?"I asked him. He tensed a little.

"Um, no. I think she's in the Maze. Where else could she be, she's a runner, isn't she? Yeah she is."Alby said, as if scared. He turned to me."Um, can do these papers? And then you have to check if the Med Jacks have everything and then check all the seeds and stuff from the box. Basically, do a routine checkup on everything today, good that?"Alby asked and I nodded.

"Good that."I said, taking the papers and then Alby left, fast. What in bloody hell is wrong with him today?

I walked out of the Homestead and towards my room. I prefer to do my work in there.

I walked into the room and put the papers on the desk in my room. I sat down on the chair and started doing the work Alby wanted me to, wondering where Y/n was.

Y/n's POV
Me and Thomas walked out of the woods, checking around for Newt. We were caring boxes, full with party stuff.

We walked towards the kitchen, where the Party will be, because Fry has to make food.

When we neared the kitchen, me and my brother saw Chuck smiling at us. Suddenly, he turned around a little and his smile dropped.

He looked back at us and started to do this thing that is like slicing your throats with hand. I think he's trying to tell us something.

"Oh Shuck."Thomas cursed next to me. I looked at him and saw him looking somewhere around the Glade. I followed his stars and saw a blonde coming towards the kitchen. Newt.

"Newt is not supposed to go in the kitchens today! What is he doing there?"I asked, scared.

"Y/n, come on!"Thomas yelled and ran back I to the woods. I followed suit.

Newt's POV
I limped towards the kitchen. I have plenty more of work to do, but I was hungry and haven't been out of the room all day.

While walking towards there, I noticed Chuck smiling at something or someone, then turned towards me and his smile dropped. What?

He looked back where he was looking before and was doing some gestures with his hands, like slicing his throat or something.

I looked to where he was looking, but saw nothing. I walked up to Chuck.

"Hey, Chuckie, who were you waving to?"I asked our youngest Glader.

"Umm...."he said and gulped, then his face brightened up."Zart and Winston are playing hide and seek! And-and Zart was here and I warned him! Yeah, that's exactly what I did!"he told me."Come on! Let's take something to eat! And we can eat it in your room! Yeah, we can do that!"Chuck said, a little too exited.

"Alright, I guess?"I said, unsure.

Me and Chuck walked inside the kitchen and got a lot of stares, but nobody said anything.

"What's up with everyone today?"I asked Chuck as we took our food."Thanks Fry."I said and we headed out.

"What do you mean? Everything is alright!"Chuck said, happily.

I stopped, Chuck doing the same."Chuck, are you okay?"I asked.

"Yup! Can we go eat now? I am hungry."he said and started skipping away. I shook my head and followed after the young boy.

Y/n's POV
When me and Thomas saw Newt going out with Chuck, we went to the Kitchen. We put the boxes on a table and all the Gladers got up, taking more boxes from under the tables.

There was a banner and me and Minho rolled it out so we can write something on it.

"Okay, what should we write?"Minho asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Hmm...."I said, crossing mine too."Maybe Happy Birthday?"I asked, struggling.

"No, that's too simple, and Newt is special."Minho said.

"Yeah, you are right."I told him and started thinking again. Then, it hit me."I got it!"I said and took a paint brush and wrote what I was thinking on the banner.

When I was done, I got up and looked at Minho for approve."That's perfect."he said.

Newt's POV
Chuck stayed with me the whole day and when it was Dinner Time, he said he's hungry again.

So, we walked to the kitchen, but the weird thing is that nobody was around the Glade and almost no lights were on, including in the kitchen.

When we walked through the door, I searched for the light flicker and turned it on."SURPRISE!"all the Gladers yelled, jumping up from everywhere. I almost screamed, because they scared me. I looked up and saw a banner saying 'Happy Newt Day!'

"What is all of this?"I asked, looking around all of he Gladers.

Y/n stepped out from behind some of them and walked towards me. She stopped just a few centimeters from me and said."Today is your birthday, Newt. Happy Newt Day!"Y/n said. My eyes widened.

"Oh my god, I totally forgot!"I said and everyone laughed.

Suddenly, in unison, they all said."Happy Newt Day, Newt!"

I smiled at all my friends, then Frypan yelled."Let's blow the candles!"he said and rolled in a big cake with 17 on top of it. I smiled as Thomas kid the candles.

"You have to make a wish!"Y/n said and I nodded. I closed my eyes and blew the candles, making my wish, then everyone cheered.

"Let's dig in!"Fry yelled and everyone did as told. I laughed at the guys as Y/n came to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I held her waist to support her.

"Wow, you are so old now."she told me and I chuckled.

"You will be sixteen soon, you know?"I told her and she giggled and nodded.

"I can't believe you forgot your own birthday."Y/n said, laughing a little.

"Haha, so funny. Yeah I didn't remember it, but I remember yours."I told her.

"And when is it?"she asked, rising an eyebrow.

"Your/Birthday/Date."I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Wow, you know me so well."she said and laughed. I laughed too.

We quieted down and looked at each other's eyes."What did you wish for?"she asked.

I rose an eyebrow."It's not gonna come true if I tell you."I said.

She rolled her eyes."C'mon, you really believe this Klinik?"she asked.

I blushed and rubbed the back of my neck."You're gonna laugh if I tell you."I said.

"I promise I won't!"she said, putting a hand over her heart.

"Alright."I said, sighing."I wished that we will get out of here and then we will be together forever and have a family and kids and all...you know, to have future, with you."I said. I saw her eyes to tear up.

"That's the best thing someone's ever said to me."she said and hugged me tightly, sniffing a little."Thank you."she said.

"Always, love."I told her, rubbing her back and hair.

"Happy Newt Day."Y/n said as we held each other tightly. I smiled in her hair.
