Around 8 am...

"Don't talk to me you asshole."That was Iris' voice...

My eyes were still closed and i'm still in the process of trying to wake up from a really good night sleep. Not really a good night sleep because I dreamt of Trip... And he is creepy in my dream. But he's more creepier in real life.

"What? You're calling me that? Eehhhh?"Trip says with a confident voice,"Sister, I'm older than you by 1 year. You should respect someone who is older than you."

"Oh yeah. You look like an old man with an immature mind. Sounds great."Wow they were arguing in the morning... What a good start.

I slightly opened my right eye, searching for my two companions. Failing to find them, I opened my eyes completely, then sitting down on my futon. They were fighting by the tree just right in front of me.

"You guys are so noisy..."I yawned, rubbing my nape. Everything was still a bit bright and my eyes are trying to adjust to the brightness of the sun.

"You're awake? Mind helping me humiliate this gay person?"Iris smirks, pointing at Trip who seems to be annoyed when Iris called him 'gay'.

"Gay?! What are you talking about?! Do you really want me to prove to you that i'm a completely normal and straight guy!"Trip retaliated, moving closer to Iris.

"I pass. I can guess what you're gonna do to me so I'm gonna.. Go."Iris runs beside me, whispering these words.

"Trip is bipolar."

"So are you."I replied back without thinking straight. Yeah, Cilan said she was a bit of a bipolar so I decided to say that... But I think i'll be dead sooner or later.

"What?!"

"I mean I like Beartics and they are.. Polar... Bears... Bear.. Polar?"I laughed sarcastically, gulping when she didn't seemed to be pleased, and rather, pissed off.

"YOU'RE SUCH A KID! I thought Having Trip around would be a much better experience but this has gotten worst!"My companions have mental problem... Dear Arceus I hope we can find Cilan soon...

"A...hahaha.. I hope Serena's here..."I gulped, shifting my gaze at Trip who was shooting a glare at Iris, then Iris who was also shooting it back. Its as if there was an electric current between them.

Until...

"My my!"The masked man who kidnapped Cilan was standing right above the tree where Iris and Trip were fighting. He was clapping in a sarcastic way and he has a Mincinno behind him who was tied in ropes..."what a view... Our ex-test subject with two new test subjects."

"You..."Trip glanced at him, turning him into a Half Purrloin once again,"You did this to me you Psycho!"

"Ouch... That hurts. You called me a Psycho?"He then started to laugh,"Mind if I take those two from here on?"

"Don't even dare lay a hand on them! They took me in even if I acted weird lately. So as someone who has the ability to protect them, I will do my best."He was ready to pounce and attack the masked man with fury cutter... But...

"Pansear, Fire punch!"The masked man pointed at Trip. Pansear quickly attacked Trip with Fire punch and making him fall back on the ground...he received a huge amount of damage. It was a direct hit after all,"Suffer my Lab rat. Now Flamethrower go!"

"I.. I won't give in."Trip tried to stand up. The flamethrower was about to reach his direction."Satoshi, Iris. RUN!"

"We won't leave you here! Pikachu Use Iron Tail to block Pansear attack!"I uttered. Tension was building up and when Pansear's attack was about to Reach Trip, Pikachu managed to block it.

"Now Axew Dragon Rage!"Iris commanded.

"Snivy I choose you!"I threw my pokeball up in the air, calling out Snivy to free Mincinno from the ropes."Free Mincinno while we take care of Pansear and masked dude."

Pansear was too fast. He managed to dodge Dragon Rage. Its as if he was modified to become a stronger pokemon... In fact he was a lot stronger than Simisear!

"Ah ah ah! No can do. It seems like I can't take you with me yet..."The masked man closed his eyes and shrugged,hugging the Mincinno who almost escaped from the rope. Crap."I was planning to take Ash with me so he could see how Cilan was suffering... well... I guess this means he turned my offer down. Bonjour~"

As he was about to leave, I called him."Wait!"

Iris and Trip shoots a confuse look at me. I know what they're thinking. They want to stop me from saying what i'm about to say because it's too dangerous.

"Cilan... W...what have you done to him..."My voice was shaking out of fear. But I have to ask every Question I could before he leave— before I get caught and realize it in the end. "You didn't turn him into a half pokemon like Trip didn't you!"

"Ehhh? No... Not yet..."He smirks and turns his back,"I still have to modify some Pokemons and finish up the DNA Transfer for this 1 girl we found... And... 2 more boys. Cilan would be after them."He then sighed.

He... The hostages..."Ehhh I also have more hostages from Nimbasa Town... But they would have to wait."He then gave us a disapproving look,"Sadly, one of our subjects died from excessive DNA stored in his blood... I guess we overdone it. Passing the DNA of the Beartic to him was a success... But Our Boss said we should try adding the DNA of a Liepard... Then his body failed.. Poor thing."

"Y..you don't have to state such monologue you... Monster."Trip said, being assisted by Iris so he could stand from where he is.

"Ahh but maybe I shouldn't say much information. Say Ash? Why don't you become a Subject Like Cilan? In that case both of you can see each other as half pokemon... Or in the after life."He really wants me to come with him...

But... If I do... I might end up being like his subject that died... But at the same Time I can't save those who are captive... But..

Plus, I'm pretty sure you can find us anywhere we hide so you can force me to come with you."I clenched my fist,"No matter what happens were gonna hide. Were gonna hide from you until we find your hideout... Then we'll end your evil schemes!"

"Ahaha.. So much talk.. Less action.. Next time I won't be forcing you, Iris. Ash. You will come with me by your own will. I'm certain of that."He then called out a Woobat,"Now Use Gust!"

After Woobat used that move, we were unable to see our surroundings,"Crap..."After saying that, Trip fell unconscious.

"Trip!"Iris called.

"The effect of Gust is fading..."I shifted my attention back at the tree where the masked dude was standing. He's gone..

"Trip! What happened?"I tried to tap his cheeks to wake him up...

"I guess he faint because of the direct hit from fire punch..."Iris uttered,"Don't worry we'll find herbs to cure you."

"Hmm.. Snivy Return.. We didn't get to save Mincinno... But we'll save a lot more pokemon soon..!"I said, returning Snivy back to its Pokéball.

"Ash can you hold Trip for a while? i'll gather some herbs with Axew."Iris lie Trip down on her futon."I don't think he'll be waking up anytime soon."

"Okay be careful."I uttered plainly. Turning to Pikachu who was lying down on my lap.

"Pikachu, I thought Crisis had ended in Unova... I never knew another Evil shall rise after another... Do you think there are problems in Kalos and Sinnoh as well?"I raised an eyebrow, rubbing Pikachu's head.

"Pika pika."I am guessing he said that "maybe there are some crisis back in Sinnoh and Kalos...'"Pikachu!" '... But not as worst as it is here in Unova.'

"Sigh.. You're right. I might check Kalos out for a while soon anyway... But..."I placed my hand on my chest,"Thinking about leaving behind Cilan makes me worry. Do you think I should bring him with me to Kalos?"

"Pikachu..."'What about his brothers? Won't they worry?' Ehh.. He's right.

"I can ask his brothers like before, so he could come with me."I replied to Pikachu who was only saying Pika pika , but I can understand him by my heart.

"Pikachu... Pika."'Well if you say so...'

"But i am not certain if I can bring him to Kalos. If I can't save him how can I bring him with me?"I look up and heave out a sigh,"Arghhhhh! Where do you think can we find him?"

"Pika.. Pi. Pikachu!" 'I have a feeling we'll see him sooner or later.'

"Really?"I raised an eyebrow, staring at him with a pout.

"Pikachuuuuu!" 'Yep! I don't know why but...' "pika pika pikaaa!" '... I think we'll see him.'

"I don't know about that but maybe you're right! I have my hopes up now!"I stood up, making a weird position but for me isn't weird.

"We're back!"Iris was holding a combination of Oran berries and Wiki berries. "He's half pokemon so I think this would be useful."

"Okay... That seems nice. Though."I picked up one piece of Wiki berries and ate it slyly without Iris noticing.

"Now i'm gonna go get mixing!"she pulled out her mortar and pestle to make a liquid medicine for Trip.

Trip was still unconscious, yet his breathing was steady. He looks peaceful when he's asleep but he is one tough competitor.

"Iris."I called out. She seemed to hear me called out her name but she didn't say a word,"The masked man..."

"What about him..?"She continued to mix the herbs in the mortar.

"His voice felt familiar that it sends me wondering who he was... But with that mask on, his voice became vague and I was unable to distinguish who he was."Yeah, I've been wondering about who he was. I just don't wanna open the topic.

"Well whoever that guy is he'll pay for everything he and his association had done to innocent trainers and pokemons."Iris says with a hiss,"HE WILL PAY!"

Her anger was too much that she broke the pestle...."Uh... I have another.. Anyway. Here's the remedy. Let Trip drink it okay."

Iris handed me the herbs while I helped the unconscious Trip drink the medicine.

Everything seems to be going fine... "all he needs now is a rest. Once he woke up, we'll retreat to Castelia City."

"Do you think we'll be safe in Castelia City? Do you think the masked men would be back?"I uttered, nervous and anxious.

"If not, we can always escape.. Till we meet Cilan by the way... And... That masked man was following us everywhere we go. He knows every step we make so I don't think we'll stray far from where we wanna go."Iris says confidently,"If I see him again I'll make sure that he'll be buried under the ground alive!!!"

"Iris you're scary..."I shivered. I'm serious! She is scary!

"I am? That's good."She smirks, letting out a small laugh.

"A..ahaha.. Hah..."I scratched my head and look away.

"But... Satoshi.."Iris turns to me."Do you think we'll survive till we find Cilan?"

"I'm certain! Pikachu said he have a feeling that we'll see him soon!"I replied confidently.

"Well... I can't argue with you because you have your hopes high..."Iris pondered,"Well I might agree with Pikachu then. We'll find him soon!"

I trust Pikachu...

But I trust Cilan more.
