Contradict to other days neil was 10 min late than Avni today!

"You are late!" Avni said folding her arms.

"So what?? You are daily late!!" He said with a shocked expression

"Ok.. it is not my mistake!! AND before you say anything else.. I pardon you!" She exclaimed

"Wow!! Avni what should I do of you?" He facepalmed himself.

"Nothing! Now tell what we are going to do today!"

He chuckled and took out the paper again.

"So it is... see a sunrise at the mountain and sunset at the ocean together!!" He said narrowing his eyebrows

"Mountain and ocean both??? But how??" He asked worriedly

"I don't know!! You said you will fulfill it!!" Avni said with a cute puppy face.

"Ohh!! Don't make that puppy face please... I am thinking what to do.. I will keep my promise!" He said assuring her.

Then he drove the car. Today weirdly Avni didn't asked the destination, probably she also wanted to directly see it..

"By the way.. say thanks to me..!" Said Neil

"Why so?"She asked

"If I wouldn't have decided to daily meet at 5am then surely your sunrise view would have not been possible!" He replied

"Ohh yesss!!! But don't take whole credit.. even I decided it!" She said

"But idea was mine!"

"So what?"

"Soo!! Thank me!" He said

"No"she pitched higher

"Yes"He said with same pitch

"Nooo" this time she pitched even higher

"Avniiiii... nooo.. these are my poor ears! Pardon please!!" Neil screamed

They both laughed.

The car halted.

Neil came out of the car and opened the gate for her. They both stand beside each other.

"Come!" He said holding her hand.

"But where.. we are here in front of this big society water tank!!" She asked confused

"Yes.. and here we will go to the top of it!" He replied

"What?? Neil.. but how come this is my wish??" She said

"You said to see sunrise on mountain.. and it is impossible to have a mountain here at this moment anyhow! If we tried to go to cliff area.. then also your sunrise would have missed! So not mountain but we can atleast have a higher place!" He winked.

"Uff!! My Mr. intelligent! I am impressed!" She chuckled

After climbing a huge number of stairs.. they were finally at the top.. Sun was going to rise.. they both sat there adjusted there legs between the railings there. Her head on his shoulder and his hands around her shoulders.

It was silence all around..
just both of them and the sun rising.. birds chirping.. and cold wind.!

She closed her eyes and just felt the moment.

"Avni"

"Hmm.."

"You never asked me her name?"

She chuckled
"I know"

"You know?" He asked

"Yes!"

"But I never told you!"

"But I know her.. Mrs. Neil Khanna "

He went silent. He tried hard to speak something but his tears choked him.

"Don't be senti now! It's truth!" She smiled.

"No Avni..." He said with pleading eyes.

"Yes neil! And I don't want to know her name.. for me it's enough that she is your.. wife!" She fumbled

"Well.. she must be beautiful, awesome and perfect right? Atlast your family choosed her!" She forced a smile

"I don't know.. I never saw her! For me nobody can be more perfect than you for me!" He said holding her hand.

She chuckled

"Well I would suggest at least meet her once! She would love to see you!"she said

"And you?? Would you like to see me to go meet her?" He asked

"I can't say anything! The day your marriage was fixed with her, I started to prepare for this day!" She said as a tear escaped her eye.

"But I can never prepare myself for this! Never!" He replied

"If She is a girl who agreed for the marriage without even meeting me! Without even knowing me! I can judge how much perfect she is for me!" He rolled his eyes.

"Neil.. don't judge so early! She might have her own reasons.. just know her first!" Avni said

"Mom said me to go Day after tomorrow with her to go for choosing rings!" Neil told her

"Nice! Buy the one for her which I showed you last time in the mall!" Avni said

"Please Avni.. just stop it! Don't try to behave this normal that you are all okay with all this!" Neil raged

"Neil.."

"What neil?? I have already said no to mom that I am not going with her anywhere! And you..! I am trying so hard to make you understand that we both can't live without eachother! I can't accept that girl and I can't live without you!" He screamed and left from there while tears rolling down his cheeks.

He walked towards the beach side nearby there. He sat on the sand there. Tears flowing from eyes while he sobs.

Whereas Avni was slowly walking towards their car. Even she was crying.. sobbing! But she know she has to explain him.. but she doesn't know how!

It was evening but they both still didn't met eachother. He was angry on her.. on the situation for separating them.

She composed herself and collected all her courage to again face him!

She went to beach.. she knew where he would be!
She patted his shoulder.. he knew she was there. He ignored her.. showing his anger still!

"Neil.. Neillll.. Neil listennn!!" Avni screamed

"What the hell? What you want me to do now??" He said with his eyes red due to crying. Even he could Sense by her eyes how much she cried!

"Neiilll" she made her puppy face

"Avni.. noo!! Please!!! Not again!!" He closed his eyes.

She held his hands and take them off his eyes.

"Sit.." She said

He glared.

"I said sit now!" She said sternly.

He does as she said.She sat beside him.

"So truth is truth and we can't change it! Sister Julie said me that if our love has to be completed or if our destiny wants it.. so by anyhow Jesus will unite us. Though I don't believe it now, but you can! Might it can give you some hopes!" She said looking into his eyes.

He just hugged her as he doesn't have anything else to say.

They both were there seeing the earth and sky meeting with the little rays of sunset. Just like both of them, the two which seems to be the closest but can never really meet! Just have some hopes like those scattered sun rays.

And as a ritual for 10 days she again said

"Neil..."

"Hmm.."

" 1 day.. 1 wish down and 1 memory up in our heart! 6 more to go!"

"But our love will be forever.. I love you Avni!" He said kissing her forehead.

"I love you too Neil!" She said looking into his eyes.
