Monami entered the terrace and was shocked.. It was beautifully decorated. The decorations were simple yet elegant..

Mo: Impressive!

She took some time to absorb the beauty of the place.. and then looked around for Karan..

Mo: Karan?? Karan?

Suddenly someone closed her eyes from her back.. In no time she recognized the person and smiled..

Mo: Karan!

She turned and hugged him..

K: To rani sahiba.. kaisa laga surprise?

Mo: Superb! Mujhe laga tum mujhe Bahar ghumane le jaaoge.. par you know what.. this is best.. I love you khadoos shergil

Monami still being excited didn't realise what she said.. But what effects her words had on Karan, only he knows.. Karan's heart skipped a beat hearing I LOVE YOU from monami... He looked at her.. His breath was uneven.. Though monami has always expressed to him how much she loves him as a bestfriend.. but today, her words seemed to have different effects on him...

Surkh wala, sauz wala, Faiz wala love

Monami realised that Karan was silent for a long time.. she looked at him and found him lost. She snapped her fingers in front of him to bring him out of his dreamland..

Mo: Karan.. kahan kho gaye?

K: wo..ka..kahin nahi.. I am glad tumhein yeh sab pasand aaya..

Mo: Offo kaise pasand nahi aata.. tumne itni mehenat ki hai mere liye... pasand to aana hi tha..... waise.. ab yahi khade rehne ka plan hai ya kuchh aur bhi karna hai??

K: (under his breath) karni to hai..tumse shaadi..

Mo: kuchh kaha tumne??
K: kuchh suna tumne?
Mo: nahi..

K: (in mind: Bach gaya) to sun na sunana baad me.. ab chalo..tumhara surprise baaki hai..

They both went and sat in the comfy corner which Karan had decorated.. There was a comfy mattress and many pillows.. A tent was made and decorated with lights.. Karan too had made sure that he doesn't over do anything which according to him can make monami uncomfortable..

A small table was set up with food arranged on it.. The aroma of food was heavenly.. Monami could guess from it's aroma that Karan himself made the food.

Karan asked her to sit and make herself comfortable... she did as he said.. He sat beside her and served the food.. It was Monami and Karan's favourite white sauce pasta!!

Monami's eyes sparkled on seeing the food.. it was as if a small child got her favourite.. Karan chuckled seeing her reaction..

K: Tum me aur baby me koi farak nahi hai pata hai.. me confuse hojaata hoon ki chhota kaun hai

Mo: Sab aapki tarah khadoos aur mature nahi hote na.. dimaag se me badi hoon..par dil to bacha hai ji..

Karan smiled at her answer.. Soon they started having their food.. Karan fed monami and monami fed Karan.. Both were having the best times with each other..

Karan was stealing glances of monami in between.. The way she was eating.. The satisfactory smile on her face.. her bubbliness, everything attracted him today.. Maybe this is love! When the simplest things and acts of a person seem to be intoxicating... May be this is love... when one smile of your partner can change your mood... Maybe this is love ❤️ What Karan feels for Monami..

Here, Monami too was looking at Karan in between.. she doesn't know what Karan feels for her.. neither does she knows when everything would be back to normal.. But she has a Hope.. a hope that very soon her Khadoos shergil will embrace her in his arms as his wife... A hope that very soon they won't remain just bestfriends... a hope that everything would be back to normal...

Both were stealing glances at each other.. but none knew! Karan didn't want monami to feel uncomfortable by his taadoying skills👀 and same with monami... She too didn't want Karan to feel any different.. They just want to enjoy the evening with each other..

After finishing the dinner, Karan asked for monami's hand.. monami was confused but still gave her hand to Karan.. Karan took her to the centre and looked into her eyes..

K: May I have a dance with this beautiful?

Monami felt shy under his gaze and smiled.. she lightly slapped his face.. and held his hand tightly.. Her one hand was on his shoulder and one was held by Karan..

Karan too had securely held monami's waist... Karan played a very soothing tune in his phone. Their body moved with the flow of the tune.. nothing else mattered to them at the moment.. They were lost in each other's eyes.

K: Sorry.. chalo beth jaate..bohut dance hogaya..

They immediately sat in the tent. Monami rested her head on Karan's shoulder.. he started caressing her hair. Monami was looking at the sky and Karan was adoring his queen..

Mo: (while looking at the sky) Kitna sundar hai na..

K: (looking at her) Sundar to hai..

Mo: (for sky) Kitna peaceful hai..

K: (for monu) bohut..

Mo: man karta hai inhein bas dekhti hi jaaun.. kaash yeh kabhi aankhon se dur na ho

K: me to isse hamesha dekhte hi rehna chahta hoon..

Monami saw a shooting star and excitedly told Karan..

Mo: Karan..dekho shooting star..

That's when Karan finally looked at the sky.. He realised all what he said for monu without her knowledge and blushed..

Mo: Karan wish maango..chalo..

Though Karan never believed in these, he somewhat wished for his wishes to be true..

MoRan looked at the sky and closed their eyes conveying their wishes..

K: mujhe pyaar ka mtlb kabhi pata hi nahi tha.. par ab jab pyaar hogaya hai.. I realise it's the most beautiful thing.. I just wish ki meri monu hamesha khush rahe and uske saare wishes pure ho.. aur han.. me usse jald se jald pata loon🙊 aur aur aur.. mere apne hamesha aise hi haste muskurate..khush rahe❤️

They opened their eyes and looked at each other and smiled... After some time Karan took out his laptop and placed it in front of them

Mo: Laptop.. yeh kyun chahiye?

K: (handing her the popcorn) MOVIE NIGHT!!

K: Ji rani sahiba.. yeh last.. chalo batao.. kaunsa movie dekhna hai..

After thinking for a while, both excitedly look at each other and screamed together "BHOOL BHULAIYAN"

They laughed and Karan played the movie.. both were watching the movie in half sitting and half sleeping posture, while enjoying their popcorn and laughing in between with the scenes..

After an hour monu realised that only her laughter was heard.. She looked at Karan who was sleeping cutely.. Monami looked at him and stared at his face lovingly..

Monami paused the movie and kept the laptop aside.. She covered him with the blanket and caressed his hair.. Karan smiled in sleep.. Monami kissed his forehead..

Mo: (whispering) hmm.. to Matlab sach me mere khadoos shergil ko pyaar hogaya hai... bohut chhupa liya tumne khadoos shergil.. ab to me bhi maze lungi tumhare... dekhte hain.. kabtak rehte ho bina confession ke..

She smiled and again kissed his forehead and slept beside him by maintaining a safe distance so that he doesn't feel awkward... But soon felt Karan hugging her in sleep..She blushed and turned towards him and slept in his embrace..

As if he heard her, his cheeks became red and he smiled..
