Karan went to his room and sat down on his bed in doubts.

K: Kya me sahi karraha hoon?? Monami shaadi cancel hone ki baat sunke achanak room me kyun chali gayi.. does she love Shivam? Nahi..nahi...aisa nahi hua hoga... par aisa ho bhi to sakta hai.. what if monami shivam se shaadi karna chahti hai..  what if meri wajah se wo udaas hai?

K: Kahin me galat to nahi karraha hoon na?? apne pyaar ke liye me monami ke sapne.. uski emotions ke saath khelraha hoon? usse to kehdiya nisha shivam ki girlfriend hai.. par yeh baat agar usse hurt ki hogi to?? me to monami ki khushi chahta hoon.. par what if uski khushi shivam ke saath hi ho..

K:urgggg karan.. kya kiya yaar tune.. ek baar soch to leta kaam karne se pehle... mujhe monu se abhi baat karni hogi.. 

With this thought, he went to monami's room. He knocked on the door..

Mo: aajao..

Karan entered and stood their silently.. monami turned to see the person and was shocked and confused.

Mo: Aaj suraj kahan se nikla hai.. The KAran Shergil aaj subhe subhe mereliye mera favourite breakfast banake laaye... and abhi mere room me knock karke enter kiya..  wow!

Karan smiled slightly seeing her bubbliness.

Mo: kya hua.. daant brush karna bhul gaye kya.. jo aise halki smile karrahe ho.. smile ander se honi chahiye.. ekdum badi wali.. 

Still Karam didnt say anything. Monami was now sure that something wasnt right. 

Mo: Karan.. betho yahan. (asking him to sit beside her on the bed) 

karan did the same.

Mo: kya hua?abhi neeche to bada bolrahe the.. abhi kyun chup ho
K: Mo..monu..monu wo...
Mo: bolo karan.. i am listening.
K: wo.. 

Monami held his palms within hers and gave him an assuring look..

Mo: Speak up karan.. kya baat hai.. kya hua

K: I am sorry monami.. I am really truly sorry..

mo: Sorry??? sorry kyun?? 

K: Monami.. wo.. (took a deep breath) Monami.. i am sorry.. mene socha tha tumhein nisha and shivam ke baare me batane se achha hoga.. tum apna decision change kardogi.. and naa tumhari naa shivam ki.. kisi ki life spoil nahi hogi..par..

Mo: Par kya karan?? 

K: I am sorry monu.. mujhe nahi pata tha ki tumhein yeh baat itni hurt karegi.. mera intention tumhein hurt karne ka nahi tha.. sachi.. mujhe nahi pata tha tum shivam ko pasand karti ho.. i really didnt know.. warna.

Mo: WHAT?? (monami jumped in horror) TUMHEIN KISNE KAHA ME SHIVAM KO LIKE KARTI THI? 

K: Monu.. wo.

Mo: KARAN AB EK AUR BAAR TUMHEIN YEH WO KIYA NA TO DEKHLENA.. SIDHA SIDHA BATAO.. TUMHEIN AISA KYUN LAGA KI ME SHIVAM  KO LIKE KARTI HOON... MTLB SERIOUSLY..

K: wo tum nisha and shivam ki baat sunke neeche se aagayi.. chup chap room me aake bethgayi.. i thought tumhein..

He was halfway completing his statement when monu laughed suddenly. Karan was confused yet happy seeing her laughing.. Monami laughed continuously for a long time and then said 

Mo: OHH GOD KARAN.. tum na sahi me yeh memory loss ke baad bache ban gaye ho.. ek baar mujhse baat to karlete .. khud guilt mana rahe ho.. (she again sat beside him) Karan..me shivam ko like nahi karti.. mere liye wo sirf mera ek dost hai.. and hamari shaadi ki baad do teen din pehle hui thi.. aur humne to ekdusre ke saath itna time bhi spent nahi kiya hai uske baad... 

K: To..tum usse like nahi karti?

Mo: obv not baba.. itni jaldi kaise pyaar karsakti me kisise.. hmm?? Aur mujhe shivam and nisha ke baare me jaanke (dramatically) dukh dard peeda kasht  kuchh nahi  hua.. rather mujhe khushi hui ki shivam ke life me koi hai jo usse bohut pyaar karta hai...

Karan hugged monami in happiness.. Monami too was happy as her karan was smiling..

K: Thank god monu.. pata hai me kitna guilty feel karraha thaa... waise.. tum upar kyun aayi phir... bina kuuchh bole wo bhi..

Mo: Umm...wo.. 

K: monu? 

Mo: chhodo na karan.. aagayi to aagayi.. bas..

Karan felt something weird in her antics.. he kept staring her. Monu knew that karan wont let the matter go.. She didnt realise when her cheeks turned red.. Suddenly something striked Karan's mind. He cupped her face and made her look at him. He lovingly stared at her eyes..

K: Monu..Periods?

Puche baatein har ghadi
Khwabo se yeh raatein meri

Tujhse kya hai mera nata

Monami just looked down and nodded.. Karan shook his head.

K: Aur isske wajah se tum embarrass hoke laal hogayi ho? seriously monu? 

Lab kuch aur kahe
Dil mera shor kare
Ban gaya tu mera raanjha

Mo: Nahi karan wo baat nahi hai.. me to bas..aise hi..

K: Are u uncomfortable with me?

Mo: Yeh kya bolrahe karan.. bilkul nahi.. tumhare saath to me sabse zyaada comfortable feel karti hoon.. 

K: to apni problems batane me hichkicha kyun rahi thi han?? Aur yeh to natural hai.. isme kaisi sharam.. tum khud doctor hoke aise behave karogi to baaki sab kya karenge?? aur mumma ne to iske baare me tumhare saath saath mujhe aur param bhaiya ko bhi bataya tha na.. yeh to blessing hai... to bhala isme kyun sharmana... and still if u dont want to, then its okay.. par mere saamne periods ke naam pe no embarrassment samjhi?

Monami felt overwhelmed.. She immediately hugged Karan.. She felt proud being his wife..

Mo: (in mind: I love you karan) kuchh to bohut achha kiya hoga mene.. jo mujhe tumhare jaisa dost (life partner) mila hai karan..

Karan smiled in the hug and caressed her hair. He planted a small kiss on her temples.

Mere sapno ki galiyon mein
Tera hi ishq rehta hai

Kahi bhi jaaun main mann yeh

K: achha chalo... aaj na tumhein pamper karte hain..
Mo: Mujhe? par kyun..

K: Aise hi.. mera mann.. umm... shaam ko 7 baje ready rehna okay..

Mo: aree par..

Before she could speak, Karan already left the room in excitement..

Mo: iss bande ne aaj subhe subhe kahin pe apna sar patak diyaa hai kya? 

Monami's inner conscience: Tu to aise bolrahi jaise terko pasand nahi aaraha.. tere bhi to man me ladoo phut rahe.. apne khadoos shergil ke saath kahin jaane keliye..

Monami blused at this thought.

MIC: chal monu.. ek mini date samajhle isko. enjoy with ur khadoos shergil..

7pm..

Monami got ready in a simple attire. Karan had asked her not to stress herself much in getting ready.. Monami was combing her hair while thinking about the affternoon talk.

Mo: Karan me yeh pehnu ya wo pehnu.. actually nahi.. yeh zyaada heavy hojaayega... gown nahi pehenti.. hum date pe thodi jaarahe.. yeh kurta pehnu?? nahi.. zyaada simple hojaayega.. KARANNN BATAO NAA..KYA PEHNU..

Karan was having a hard time in helping this bachu monami.. Her mood swings were on peak today.. and now selecting a dress was also a complicated work to do.. Karan smiled at her antics (pyaar me banda pagal hogaya hai pura). He just took out a simple yet elegant frock from monami's cupboard and handed it over to her.

Mo: Yeh pehnu? are u mad? me isme achhi nahi dikhti..
K: Ms. monami mahajan.. trust me.. u would look good in this.. aur dress up hone me itna stress kaun leta? cramps hone lagenge tumhein zyaada bhaag daud ki to.

Mo:hmmm achha theek hai.. me yeh pehen lungi.. par.. hum jaa kahan rahe hain? (she asked like a child)

K: Kahin nahi..
Mo: Mtlb? tumne kaha tha hum kahin jaayenge.. karan aise cheating mat karo..

K: Arre meri complain box.. suno.. hum kahin nahi jaarahe.. mene kaha tha aa tumhein pamoer karunga.. ghumane leke jaunga nahi.. aur han.. 7pm at the terrace..

Mo: hein? terrace?? wahan to me aise hi chali jaaun.. kya yaar karan.. sara mood kharab kardiya.. (she sat with a pout)

K: (caressed her hair) Trust me monu.. tumhein bohut maza aayega.. aur apni rani sahiba ko me shikayat ka mauka nahi dene wala... okay?

Flashback ends

Mo: aaj itne mahino baad aisa lagraha jaise apne dost se nhi.. apne pyaar se baat karrahi hoon.. kaash tumhein sab kuchh jald se jald yaad aajaye karan..
