Alone in the kitchen, Tiny was busy getting dinner ready for both himself and Hu. Pouring some dog kibble into a big silver bowl, he took it out to the living room and set it down on the floor. Wagging his tail in happiness, Hu licked his master's face before he began eating his dinner. With his dog taken care of, Tiny went to get his dinner.

There was a knock on the door.

"Coming!" Tiny called. Wiping his little paws on his pajama pants, the young puppy ran to the front door. It was quite obvious that he had no idea he was going to have a visitor this afternoon. If he had known about this surprise visit he might've taken a shower. He would still be in his pajamas, no doubt about that. Arriving at his front door, he opened it.

Chloe was standing there.

Frigid with absolute terror, Tiny was shaking in his slippers. Who wouldn't be?! His scary neighbor Chloe was standing right on his doorstep. She had on her blue snow coat, blue and gray scarf and black snow boots. She had her shovel in her hand. In her other hand she held a folded piece of paper. And she was holding it out towards him. The tabby cat towered over Tiny, making him feel smaller than what he really was. His heart pounding in his chest, the little boy did the only thing he could.

He screamed and slammed the door shut.

Hearing the scream and slamming door, Hu started barking. Tiny, in the meantime, ran out into the kitchen. A few seconds later, he ran back and locked the front door. He then ran back into the kitchen. All the while, he was screaming his head off. Hu ran back and forth, barking as he followed his master. They hid out in the kitchen for about ten minutes before Tiny crept back to the living room. Shaking, he pulled back the curtain to look outside.

Chloe was gone.

Sighing in relief, Tiny looked down at Hu. The black and white dog looked back at him. Smiling quietly, the puppy whispered, "She's gone. We're safe." Walking away, he headed back out into the kitchen to finish making his dinner. As he continued his task, he prayed that Chloe wouldn't come back. He really was scared of her.

Little did he know though that there was something else that he should be afraid of more than his neighbor...
