"Just look at it. One street. Five houses. Five families away on Christmas vacation. It's perfect," Ozone purred, smiling as he pulled up onto Illumination Avenue. When he didn't get a reply, the Sphynx cat frowned and turned his head to the right. A book laying on his lap, his partner Tiberius was fast asleep. Flicking his ear, the feline elbowed the red tailed hawk in the gut, waking him up. Wheezing, Tiberius hissed, "What was that for?!"

"I told you not to bring a book in the van! You always fall asleep reading it while I'm driving!" Ozone retorted. His face was turning red with anger. Rolling his big green eyes in annoyance, the feline growled, "God, I don't know why I've put up with you for twenty five years."

"Cuz I'm the only one who makes sure you don't get killed by gangsters and your stupid ideas."

"...my ideas aren't stupid. Your snow globe collection is."

"It's not!"

"Whatever..."

"Why are we robbing these houses anyway? Don't you think it's a little risky?"

Huffing, Ozone glared at Tiberius. "Aren't you supposed to be the smart one here?" he questioned. Gesturing one paw towards the street in front of them, the hairless feline explained, "I visited all their houses in the last two days. They told me themselves that they were leaving. Every single one of them. We got this whole street to ourselves this week." Chuckling to himself, Ozone grinned as he meowed, "You would not believe what I saw in those houses. They're practically loaded."

"Which one do you wanna start out with tonight?" Tiberius asked, closing his book and setting it on the dashboard beside his snow globe collection. A purr rumbling deep with his throat, Ozone answered cheerfully, "Let's hit the big one, the Russell family house. With just that house, we'll be set for life." As he talked, his golden tooth sparkled in the glow of the Christmas lights. Frowning, the hawk sitting next to him muttered, "Ozone, why the heck do you need that stupid golden tooth? There's no need for it."

"Hey! You don't see me calling your wings stupid, do you?!" Ozone snapped, baring his fangs. In retaliation, Tiberius whacked him in the face with his left wing. Sighing heavily, the hairless feline and the red tailed hawk calmed down from their little argument. Grabbing his crowbar, Ozone meowed, "Crowbars up." Hitting their crowbars together, the pair climbed out of the van.

Then they slowly made their way over to the Russell family homestead.
