"...there you go. Feeling better?" Ozone asked quietly, down on his knees in the ice cold snow. Laying on his back after taking his pills and some water, Tiberius quietly nodded his head. His right eye was already swollen from getting shot by the kid's potato gun. Sighing softly, the red tailed hawk mumbled, "Does this mean we can go home now?"

"Oh heck no. This is war," Ozone growled, standing up painfully. He was still in a lot of pain right now. He was sure he would feel better when he had his paws wrapped around the pup's neck though, he was sure of it. Picking up his crowbar out of the snow, he looked down at Tiberius and ordered, "You go down through the basement, I'm going around to the front." With that, he left. Whimpering, Tiberius muttered, "I just want to go home..."

Marching through the snow as he went around the house, Ozone grinned evilly as he saw the front door. This was all too easy. Sure, the kid had a gun now and already shot him and Tiberius, who then pretty much had a heart attack. But whatever. They were master criminals who were dealing with a kid. As far as they knew, he just had doors locked and a potato gun. Laughing to himself, Ozone took his first step on the stairs leading up to the front door.

The next thing he knew, he slipped on ice and fell flat on his back, knocking out all of the air in him.

Approaching the outdoor basement stairs, Tiberius peered down them cautiously. He was not in the mood to get shot again. Believing they were safe, he took a step forward. Slipping on ice, the hawk let out a yelp of surprise as he slid all the way down. Looking around confused, he muttered, "Ow..." Well, the good news was he made it to the basement door.

Rolling over onto his knees and hands, Tiberius dug his talons into the ice. Confident he had a good grip, he stood up with no problems. The red tailed hawk sighed in relief. Taking his crowbar, he was about to pry the door open when he saw that the basement door was already open partially. Huffing, the hawk growled, "I never get to use this thing." Without another word, he silently entered the basement.
