Happy New Year's Day everyone! To kick off this new year I'm gonna be doing some short disney stories involving Shy and my characters. All the stories are from Disney shows that I love to watch. I hope you all enjoy this first one. Have a great new year!

Xena, a little mermaid fish that forgets sometimes, was swimming in a white bucket with a bunch of other fish. What she didn't know was that they were already dead. So it'll take a while for her to see that.

As she laid there afloat in the water acting like a dead fish, she began to think about Raphael. The octopus she met earlier in quarantine. Not really the nicest octopus. Or was he a septopus? Can't really tell.

They both made a deal saying that he just wanted to be alone in a box and Xena just wanted to find her family. They agreed, but Xena was being difficult for him cause this was the first time Raph experience with Xena's short term memory loss.

Later on, Xena saw the white bucket she was in now and saw the name 'DARINA' on it. She had a feeling that she recognized the name a bit so she decided to go in. Even if Raph protested against her.

Right now, she stopped faking dead. "Man you guys. How you all-" Xena was about to ask when she touched a fish and it suddenly moved freely. Like nothing was controlling the fish at all. No movement, no vision. No mind. "Wait a second-WOAH!"

Xena fell a hand grabbing her and a human, not knowing she wasn't dead, put her in the water.

Xena looked around her new area and noticed a group of kids looking at her. "Huh?" She said as another human lady was talking to them. "What you're about to see here is a giant turtle named Darina. She's over 50 feet tall." She said as the kids gasped. "Wait, Darina?" She said as the lady continued. "You'll notice that she is extremely near sighted and has trouble navigating her environment. Oh and here she comes now."

Xena looked over to her left and noticed a rather very tall turtle. She was right. She was over 50 feet tall. No wonder the tank was so big.

The turtle Darina was a tall soft shell turtle with a purple bandana over her eyes. Somewhat like Xena but she was wearing blue instead of purple.

Darina accidentally bumped into a wall. "Ouch! Aw man." She said as she continued to swim. "I'm excuse me?" Xena said as she swam over to Darina. Darina heard her voice and began to look around. "What? Who's that? Is that blue blob talking?" She said as Xena got a bit closer. "Can you please help me. I lost my family."

"Oh my gosh you lost your family?"

"And truth be told I don't remember much."

"Aw that is so said-OUCH!" Darina tried to say as she slammed into another wall, causing Xena to spin out of control for a bit. Xena regained control of her swimming as Darina said, "Sorry, not really a great swimmer. Can't see very well either." Darina said as Xena looked at her sadly. "Aw I think you swim beautifully. In fact, I've never seen a fish swim like that before."

"THANK YOOOOOOOOOU!"

"YOURRRRRRRE WELCOOOOOOOOOME!" Xena replied to her as she spoke in her giant language. "Wait, say that again." Darina said as Xena shrugged. "YOURRRRRRRRE WELCOOOOOOOOOOME!"

"Xena?"

"Yes?"

"Xena."

"Yes."

"Xena?"

"Yes."

"*gasp* XENA!"

"Yes." Xena said after 4 times. Still unsure what was going on. "You an I were friends." Darina replied as Xena gasp. "No way!"

"Xena it's me Darina!"

"Wait, you know me?"

"Of course. We talked through the pipes when we were little. We were Pipe Pals."

"REALLY!?" Xena exclaimed with happiness. She had no idea that she made a friend when she was back here. Xena got close enough for Darina to see her more clearly. "Oh my gosh. You look so pretty." Darina said as both girls squealed knowing there the 2 long distance best friends have finally reconnected with each other. "So do you know where I'm from?"

"Yep! You are from the open ocean exhibit. Ouch!" Darina said as she bumped into another wall. "Wow. That must mean that my parents are here too. Can you take me there?"

"Um, kinda hard for a 50 foot woman to travel around here."

"EXCUSE ME! CAN YOU KEEP IT DOWN! MY HEAD HURTS!" Darina and Xena heard a noise as Darina rolled her eyes. "Who's that?"

"That's neighbor. Brisk. He was brought over here with a head injury..."

"I know you're talking about me Darina." The beluga turtle named Brisk replied as Darina blocked him with her giant arm. "...saying that he can't use his echolocation."

"I can hear you!"

"...but I overheard the doctors talking. There's not a thing wrong with him." Darina finished as Xena raised her eyebrow. "Heard every word you're saying." Brisk kept saying as Xena rolled her eyes. "Weirdo. What's echolocation?"

"Well the echo is suppose to bring out a call in order to see things far away." Darina started to replied as she swam up to Brisk. "Oh but apparently, he's still HEALING!" Darina said as she yelled the word 'healing'. Brisk gave her a -_- face. "....now I know you're talking about me. I really can't-"

"UGH!"

"Echo locate."

"I'm not having this conversation with you again."

"I hit my head very hard. See how swollen it is?"

"Your head is suppose to be like that. You're a beluga!" Both giant turtles continued to bicker as Xena started to think. "Echolocation....OH! Like the worlds more powerful pair of glasses?"

"What?"

"What're glasses?"

"You know, when you wanna find something and you do this 'ooooooo' thing." Xena finish as both turtles just stared at her.

Suddenly, a splash came from behind Xena. Xena turned around to see Raphael. "Raph! Hi!" Xena said as she nervously swam back a bit."

Raph, who looked pissed, started to swim after her. "We had a deal. I brought you to the map. Now gimme your tag!" Raph tried to reach for the tag that was attached to Xena's tail. Xena kept swimming. "Wait, I know where my parents are. They're at open ocean."

"Open ocean, I know where that is. That's the exhibit located right next to-I DONT CARE!" Raph replied making Darina and Xena gasp. "Hey!"

"Woah, easy." Brisk said. "If you're trying to get to open ocean just go through the pipes." Darina said as Xena gulped. "The pipes?"

"Yep. 2 lefts, straight, and you'll hit it."

"Um, that's a lot of directions. Did you get that Raph?"

"Um yeah." Raph said clearly ready to ditch Xena. "Great, let's go!" Xena was about to go in when Raph said, "I can't go with you, I won't fit. You'll have to go by yourself." He explained. He was right. He maybe and octopus, but even they have boundaries when it comes to firing through small objects.

Xena gulped again and went through the tunnel and immediately came back out. "W-Well you see, if I go through the pipes. I'll forget where I'm going." Xena said as Darina nodded in understanding. "Well I'm sorry, but there's no other way."

Flashback

Baby Xena was trying to move a White Seashell but couldn't because it was too heavy. "Aw, there's no other way."

"Hey hey sweetie no it's okay." Her mother Quick and her father Swift immediately came to her side. "You know not everything in life is easy to do." Her mother said as Swift nodded in agreement. "Your mother's right. When something's too hard you should just give up."

"SWIFT!?"

"A joke. It was a joke okay." Swift quickly added as he used his tail to flip the shell over and place his daughter onto the shell. "Oh okay okay I got it." Quick said understanding her husband's reply.

Once Swift slid the shell along with Xena back to there home, he looked at her and said, "You see Blueberry, there's always another way." Swift said using Xena's nickname as Xena giggled and hugged her father. "Thank you daddy."

End of flashback

"Thanks daddy." Xena said as she suddenly got an idea. "No no! That's not true."

"What?" Raph asked as Xena began to swim on the surface. "My father said there was always another way." Xena replied as she looked for open ocean. "I think opens ocean is the one right there with the big shinny ball on top. Round like Brisk's head."

"Wait what?" Brisk said as he popped out of the water while Darina chuckled a bit and pointed at the building. "There it is. Let's go!"
