-<Edd's POV>-

I stared at Matt slightly, watching him eat his food. Honestly, it was confusing to me. Why was he a Vampire? He disappeared about a month ago, so how did he even...

The murders. There had been multiple murders recently. All of the victims had no bodily fluids inside them, bite marks in their necks. Occasionally there were bruises, but nothing more than that. 5 people had died last month, and Matt went missing a month ago. It seemed to line up. He was planning on making them his next victims. I shuddered, thinking about how gruesome that was. He's a blood sucking monster...

I was snapped away from my thoughts by Tom clearing his throat. I looked up at him, confused. He was motioning for the hall, wanting to talk with me in private. Excusing ourselves from the table and leaving Matt to continue eating his breakfast.

As they arrived in the hallway, Tom turned to me. "What are we going to do about him? He can't control himself," he growled, his anger at the narcissistic vampire still fresh from yesterday.

Tom reeled back in surprise. "I... I didn't even think of that! But you might be right," he said thoughtfully. I didn't think that he wouldn't have already thought of that.

A vampire's hunger will take about a week to manifest, so if he was turned, he had to of been turned at least a week ago before coming back here for an easy meal. What he thought was an easy meal...

"Edd, as much as I trust you, I don't think that Matt is the murderer. Yes, it may seem like he was, but I still think we should take some time to figure out what is going on with Matt," I finally said. Edd nodded, most likely agreeing with me more than himself. I smiled to myself, knowing that having him thinking more positive would keep everyone else happy.

A sudden crash from the dining room snapped me back to reality. We looked at each other alarmed. We left Matt alone...
