*A few months later*

*Ember and her family were packing up their suitcases because they were getting ready to go back to pop village*

*As ember was packing up her stuff, she felt someone gently nudge her back before she turned and saw wave, he had some bandages on his face and body*

Ember: How are your burns? are they healing up? *gently caresses wave's face*

Wave: *chuckles and places his hand on the back of one of ember's hands and kisses her palm* Yeah, they're getting better

Wave: *wraps his arms around ember* I wish you and your family didn't have to leave already...

Ember: I know wave, I don't wanna leave you either *brushes his hair out of his face* I wish I could stay here with you

Wave: I don't want you to leave...*rests his head on her shoulder*

Ember: I know *kisses wave's forehead* but I promise I'll visit you and write to you all the time okay?

Wave:...Okay

Ember: *kisses wave's forehead again* C'mon, why don't you help me pack up?

Wave: 'Kay

*Wave picks up some of ember's clothes and puts them into her suitcase*

*A few minutes later*

*Esmerald and Ocean were preparing the row-boat that had been sent to them from a nearby ship while ember stood on the side with wave*

Wave: Hey emmy? before you go I- I have something I wanna give you

Ember: Oh? what is it?

*Wave gives ember a necklace made from purple amethysts and blue sapphires*

Wave: Tada X3

Ember: *gasps* Oh my gosh...*looks at the necklace in her hand* wave it's...it's so- *lets out a short exhale* I- I don't even know what to say except...thank you! how did you know my favourite crystals were amethysts and sapphires?

Wave: Well I figured since, they match my colors I thought they'd remind you of me when I'm not here *shuffles his feet on the sand shyly*

Ember: *smiles softly before putting the necklace on* I love it wave and again, thank you *kisses wave's cheek before hugging him*

*Wave smiles and hugs her back happily while starting to purr*

Esmerald: Ember! we're leaving now!

Ember: *pulls out of the hug and looks to esmerald* Coming mom!

*Ember turns to wave one more time before kissing his nose and starts walking away before stopping and looks at him*

Ember: Goodbye...Wave Scorfano...

Wave: You too...Ember Seabrine...

*Ember smiles softly before she walks onto the row-boat*

*Ocean starts rowing the row-boat towards the ship until he notices his daughter's saddened expression*

Ocean: Hey, ember...are you okay?

Ember: *sighs* Yeah...It's just...I'm just gonna miss wave so much...

*Ocean and Esmerald look to each other for a few minutes and give each other a nod before turning to Ember*

Esmerald: Ember...we know how much wave means to you...so-

Ocean: If you promise to not get into trouble, write to us every single day and promise to visit...you can stay on the island with him

Ember: *realizes what her parents were saying* Mom, dad- are you two serious?

Esmerald: Oh yes we are, I mean- he's your boyfriend after all, it would be torture to have you two be separated

Ocean: Yeah...and *sniffles a little* you're a grown woman now...and you need to follow your heart and right now, it's telling you that you need to be there...with him...
