So you guys remember 7 months ago when I told you I got tickets to Dear Evan Hansen?

I FINALLY GOT TO SEE IT TONIGHT

you guys it was everything I could have hoped for and more, that show just means so incredibly much to me and the actors all portrayed the story beautifully, Taylor Trensch embodies someone with social anxiety so well, I cried so hard during Words Fail that my mom handed me a package of tissues

The only two things I had a problem with were

A) phones going off. TURN YOUR PHONE OFF WHEN YOURE IN THE THEATER. When Rachel Bay Jones and Taylor Trensch are crying onstage, that is not a good time for us to hear a light, happy ringtone throughout the theater. When Taylor Trensch and Laura Dreyfuss are having a quiet intimate moment, that is not the time for us to hear a light happy ringtone throughout the theater. That's the end of that rant.

B) stagedoor etiquette. Don't push people. Don't try to shove past people. And really, what do you think the actors prefer more, you screeching in their face and squealing "WHAT IS MY LIFE??", or staying somewhat calm and thanking them for a good performance and politely telling them how much you love them? That is the end of that rant.

Overall it was an amazing night though it was 100% worth every cent we payed for those tickets it was so good
