so I'm watching Glee right now, and I actually do really like it, but there's something that just happened in this episode that bothers me and I just have to rant about it

so the main character Rachel Berry just auditioned for a Broadway show

and what did she do for her audition?

she sang a FULL Celine Dion song while being accompanied by a flutist, pianist, cellist, and two violinists

that is just so incredibly unrealistic

in an actual Broadway audition, you get 16 bars of a song (32 bars if you're lucky), and the only accompaniment you get is a piano

that's it

yes, I know it's a tv show and that makes it more appealing to the viewers to do a whole song, and they want to show of Lea Michele's vocal ability

but really? did they really need a cello? a flute? two violins?

I'm sorry, that just bothers me whoops
