okay today was crazy for me but also super fun so here we go

so first of all I had two Christmas concerts today (I heard Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas four times and I'm kind of tired of it) and that was super fun, I sang I'll Be Home for Christmas and made some new friends and it was just great all around

and then tonight I saw the QUEEN Sutton Foster live (she actually came to my town for once which never happens) and when we got there I discovered that apparently my parents got third row seats which was GREAT, she sang a lot of songs from Anything Goes and a bunch of Christmas music (she also sang Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas) 

AND THEN Megan McGinnis came out (if you know who she is I love you) and guys. Not only is she so talented, but you could just tell that she and Sutton are really close friends by the way they were looking at each other while they were singing it was so sweet

Sutton also sang a song for her mom who she said passed away a few years ago and yes I cried

Then afterwards we stood in a really long line to meet her for about half an hour and once we finally made it to her I told her about how she inspired me by having a successful performing career despite the fact that she was so tall (I've always been taller than everyone else my age and everyone's always made a big deal about it, and I know that most Broadway performers aren't as tall as I am) and I was just expecting her to say thank you and move on but guys

But you guys, she looked at me and she told me that it's true that taller people don't get cast as much and that all her life people told her she was too tall and she just decided to say "who cares?" And she told me that we just have to break the rules and not to let my height get in the way of my career and she wished me good luck AND I ALMOST CRIED RIGHT THERE she was just so kind and down to earth and supportive

so yeah, that was my day
